Addthetakeoff/landingpointbyclickingontheitemontheleftside(A)andtothedesired
locationinthemap.Adjust"transitionaltitude"and"transitiondirection"ontherightside(B).
TheWingtraOnewilltakeoff,risetoyour"transitionaltitude"abovethetakeoff/landingpoint,
transitionintoforwardflight,flytothedrawnloitercircle,loiteruptotheareaaltitudeand
startdatacollection.Afterfinishingdatacollection,itwillflybacktotheloitercircleatthe
altitudeofthelastarea,loiterdowntothe"transitionaltitude",flybacktothetakeoff/landing
point,transitionabovethetakeoff/landingpointandland.
STEP2AddArea(s):
Youcanaddoneorseveralareasthatyouwanttomapbyclickingontheareaitemonthe
leftside(A).Chooseyourdesiredgroundsamplingdistance(or,alternatively,yourdesired
altitude)ontherightside(B)andadjusttheflightdirectionandsideoverlapifneeded.Move
thecorners(minussigns)andaddadditionalcornersuntilyoudrawtheareathatyouwant
tomap.
STEP3ReviewtheFlightPlan:
Makeathoroughterrainreview-makesuretheWingtraOnewillnotcollidewithany
obstacle.Furthermore,checkthatyourflightdoesnotviolatelawsortheWingtraOne
market-entryrestrictions.

Youcanadjustthecamerasettingsfromthetablet.Turnonthecamerawithinthe
WingtraOnebyclickingontheOn/Offbutton,openSony'sPlayMemoriesapponthetablet,
andadjustthesettings.Thecamerawillkeepthesettingsyouadjustandwon'tresettothe
defaultsonthenextflight,formoredetailsseethecamerachapter.Welltesteddefault

ThecollectedimagesaresavedontheSDcardinthecamerawithoutassignedGPS
information(geotags).Toassignthegeotagstotheimages,youneedtoperformthe

STEP1:DownloadtheGeotags
Afterlanding,WingtraPilotwillstartdownloadingthegeotagsautomatically.Ifthedownload
fails,clickon"retry"andwalktowardstheWingtraOnetogetbetterconnection.
STEP2:GeotagImagesontheTablet
DepowertheWingtraOne,gettheSDcardfromthecameraandinserttheSDcardtoyour
tablet.OpenthegeotaggingmenuinWingtraPilot,enteraflightname,selectthecorrect
(newest)flightfromthelist,selecttheimagedirectoryontheSDcardthatcontainsyour
images,andclick"StartTagging".Bepatient!Geotaggingtheimagescantakeseveral
minutes.ThegeotagswillbedirectlysavedtotheEXIFmetadataoftheimages.
Youcanplanthenextflightinparallelandcontinuecollectingmoredata,whilethe
geotaggingtakesplaceinthebackground.
STEP3:Inspect/SaveImages
Toinspectyourimages,opentheMyFilesApp,navigatetoSDcard/DCIM/andintoyour
projectfolder.Openanimageinthe/Taggedsubfolderandselect"Gallery"asimageviewer.
TheSDcardshouldprovideenoughspaceforseveralflights(upto3000-4000JPEG
images),youcancontinueflyingdirectlyorinserttheSDcardonalaptopandsavethedata
aftereveryflight.
