1.1Introduction
TheIntegralorificeplatemanufacturedbyWISEControlInc.isinstalledinthemiddleofapipewhere
afluidflows.Theareaoftheorificeplateissmallerthanthepipe,andthepressuredifferential
betweenthefrontandrearoftheorificeplateisusedtomeasureflowrate.
Integralorificeplatesaremanufacturedaccordingtocustomerspecifications.
1.2Informationregardingtheusermanual
1) Theusermanualcontainsimportantinformationforproperhandlingofthedevice.Pleasereadthis
usermanualcarefullybeforeinstallationandcommissioning.
2) Pleaseadheretothesafetyandhandlingguidelinesprovidedinthisusermanual.Compliancemust
bemaintainedwiththeapplicableaccidentpreventionandsafetyregulations,aswellasnational
installationstandardsandacceptedcodesofconduct.
3) Thisusermanualispartoftheproduct,andmustbemadeavailableforviewingbyworkersnearby

3. Pre-installationinspections
1) Checkthetagnumberoftheproductandconfirmthattheproductisintendedfortheinstallation
location.
2) Checkforanyweldingbeadsorprojections.Priortoinstallation,checkthesurfaceoftheorifice
plateforanydentingorscratching.
3) Theinsideofthepipemustbesmoothandclean,andfreeofanyforeignmatter.

4. Installingandoperatingtheproduct
4-1.General
DifferentialpressuregeneratedbytheIntegralorificeplateisdischargedthroughconnectionstothe
upstreamanddownstreampressuretaps.Theconnectionsaredesignatedasupstreamand
downstreamtapsbasedonthedirectionofflowofthefluid.
Thedirectionofflowofthefluidisindicatedonthefrontofthenameplateoftheorificeplate.

1) Checktheinstallationlocationoftheintegralorificeplate,andthedirectionofflow.
2) Checkthattheinnersurfaceofthepipeissmoothandcleaned.
3) Confirmthattheconnectionflangeformsaconcentriccirclewiththeinsideofthepipeline,and
thatthepressuretappointshavebeenalignedinaccordancewiththedrawings.
4) Allweldbeadsmustbeuniform.Ensurethatprojectionsintotheinsideofthepipearekepttoa
minimum. 
5) Ensurethatthetapsandrelatedpipesarecleanpriortouse.Inspectthetapholesandrelated
pipesforweldsandotherobstructions.Removeobstructionsasnecessary.


5. Maintenance
1) Dependingonprocessconditions,regularlyinspectforsignsofobstruction,erosionorcorrosion.
2) Priortobeginningwork,confirmthatpipeshavebeenpurgedofpressureanddrained.
3) Observepowerplantsafetyregulationsatalltimes.
4) Aftercomplyingwithsitesafetyregulationsandremovingthefluidflowingthroughthepiping,
loosenallbolts/nutsbeforeworkandtheorificeplatecanbecheckedorreplaced.
5) Whenreassemblingtheproductafterdisassembly,newgasketsmustbeused. 
Whenreassembling,payattentiontotheupstreamanddownstreamdirections.

6. Transport,packagingandstorageoftheproduct
1) Theproductmustnotbeexposedtohumidity,dustorothercontaminants.
2) Theproductmustnotbesubjectedtoimpactduringstorage.
3) Whenreturningtheproductforrepairs,safelypackagetheproductinitsoriginalpackaging,and
returntherelateddocumentationaswell.
4) The product should be protected from exposure to humidity, dust and other contaminants
duringtransport.
5) Theproductshouldbepackagedtoprotectagainstimpactduringtransport.
6) Anydamagetotheproductduringtransportshouldberecordedinthedocumentation.Claims
forcompensationfordelaysininstallationmaybemadeagainstthetransportingcompany.









1.1 소개
㈜와이즈에서 제작하는 일체형 오리피스 플레이트(Integralorificeplate)는 유체가 흐르는 관로 중간에 플
레이트를 설치하여, 유체의 배관 구경보다 면적을 좁게 하여 발생되는 전,후 압력 차를 통해 유량을 측정하
는 유량계 입니다. 일체형 오리피스 플레이트(Integralorificeplate)는 고객의 사양에 따라 제조되는 제품
입니다.
1.2 사용설명서 관련 정보
1) 본 사용설명서에는 장치의 올바른 취급에 관한 중요한 정보가 들어 있으므로 설치 및 시험 운전을 하기
전 이 사용 설명서를 주의 깊게 읽어주십시오.
2) 본 사용설명서에 명시된 안전 및 취급 지침을 따라주십시오. 적용 가능한 사고예방 규정과 안전 규정 뿐
만 아니라 국가 설치 표준 및 인정된 행동 규범을 준수해야 합니다.
3) 본 사용설명서는 제품 일부로써 제품 설치 장소 근처에 항상 작업자가 확인할 수 있도록 비치 되어야 합

3. 제품 설치 전 점검 사항
1) 제품의 태그 번호 및 설치될 위치의 제품인지 확인하십시오.
2) 용접 윤곽선, 돌출 부분 등이 없어야 하며, 설치 전에 오리피스 플레이트 표면에 찌그러짐이나 긁힘이 있
는지 확인해 주십시오.
3) 배관 내부는 부드럽고 깨끗해야 하며, 이물질이 없는지 확인해 주십시오.

4. 제품 설치 및 조작 방법
4-1. 기본 사항
일체형 오리피스 플레이트(Integralorificeplate)에 의해 생성된 차압은 전,후단 압력 탭의 연결로 배출 됩니
다. 연결 부분은 유체 흐름 방향 기준으로 전단 탭, 후단 탭으로 구분됩니다.
유체 흐름 방향은 플레이트의 명판 전단부에 표시 됩니다.(<Figure1> 참조)

4-2. 설치 방향
일체형 오리피스 플레이트(Integralorificeplate)은 유체의 흐름 방향에 따라 설치 되어야 하며, 설치 방향은
유체의 종류에 따라 아래 그림과 같이 설치하는 것을 권장 합니다.
1) GAS&VaporLine에 설치하는 경우
● 수평 배관 적용 시 ● 수직 배관 적용 시 



4-4. 옵션 사항

4-5. 점검
1) 일체형 오리피스 플레이트의 설치할 위치를 확인한 후 유체 방향을 확인하십시오.
2) 파이프 내부 표면이 매끄럽고 깨끗한지 확인하십시오.
3) 연결 플랜지가 파이프라인의 내부와 동심원을 이루며 압력 탭 지점이 도면에 따라 정렬되었는지 확인
합니다.
4) 모든 용접 윤곽은 균일 해야 합니다. 파이프 내부의 돌출 부분이 최소로 유지되도록 주의하십시오. 
5) 탭 및 관련 배관은 사용 전 깨끗한지 확인해야 합니다. 탭 구멍 및 관련 파이프에 용접 지점 또는 기
타 막힘이 없는지 점검하십시오. 필요한 경우 막힘을 제거할 수 있습니다. 
모든 세척 사양(예: 산소/제약 서비스)을 준수하십시오.

