Introduction
TheWituraWT‐010hasbeendesignedtooperateGatesandotherelectricaldevicesusingyourexistingMobile
PhoneorLandLineandalsoeliminatingtheproblemsthatoccurwithlowrangewirelessremotecontrolsasthis
systemhasnorangebarriers.
Thissystemallowstheadministratororusertooperatetwoseparaterelays.OneusingcallerIDtoactiverelay
oneautomaticallywithavoicecalloralternatelyitispossibletoSMSthesystemtoactivateRelay2toperform
anotherfunction.
AnotherfeatureisanAlarmInputfunctionwhichhastheabilitytosendupto8separateSMSalertsintheevent
ofanincidentsuchasapowerfailureoranalarmbeingactivatedandapersonalcustomizedmessagecanbe
programmedintothesystem.
Thesystemcomeswithanin‐buildpowersupplyandexternalantennaandonlyrequiresavalidSIMCard

ThePowersupplyof12VoltDCsupplycapableofproviding1Ampcurrentandneverusethepowersupplyfrom
Gatecontrolpanelsastheymayshowa12VoltreadingandinitiallyLogontothesystem,butcandrawhigher
currentwhenNetworksignalstrengthsdropandnotonlylogoff,butmayalsoblowthefusesontheGate
controlboardasGSMModemswilldrawexcessivecurrentswhilstsearchingforthenetworkconnections.Low
Voltage12VoltGatesystemscaninmostcasesbeconnecteddirectlyastheyarenormallyconnectedtoa
permanentbackupsystembeingabletosupportthecurrentrequired.
SIMCard
ThesystemwillacceptanyUniversalNetworkSIMCardanditisessentialthatyouremoveanyPinCode
requestsfromtheSIMCardwhichcanbedonebyplacingtheSIMCardinanunlockedMobilePhoneandusing
thefeaturesonmostMobilePhonestodisablethePinCoderequestasifthePinRequestisenabledthesystem
willnotlogontothenetworkandtheunitwillrefusetobeprogrammed.
InadditionitisessentialyoualsodisabletheVoiceMailfunctionwhichcanbeinsomecasedoneagainby
placingtheSIMCardinanunlockedMobilePhoneandcontactingyourserviceprovidertoremovethisfunction
andinsuretheSIMCarddoesnotacceptorstoreanyincomingvoicemessages.
MobilePhoneCredit
ItisalsoessentialthattheSIMCardisretainedwithenoughcreditatalltimessoastobeabletoreceivethe
SMStextalertswhenmakinganychangestothesystemremotelyeventhoughthesystemwillcontinueto
performandmakethechangesrequiredalthoughyoujustwillnotreceivetheconfirmationtextmessagesback
fromtheunit.
InadditionthesystemwillstilloperatebycallingtheunitandopeningtheGateasthereisnoconnectioncharge
forusingthisfunction
InstallingtheSIMCardandbootingupthesystem
ToInstalltheSIMCardyouwillneeduseasmallpointedscrewdriveranddepressthesmallyellowbutton
besidetheSIMCardtrayaslabeledSIMCardandtheSIMCardtraywillpopoutandyoucanremovethetray
andlocatetheSIMCardintheholderandgentlysidetheSIMCardtraybackintoitsreceiverslot.
Don’teverforcetheSIMCardtrayorattempttoremoveitoutwithascrewdriverbyleveringitasyouwillonly
damagetheunitandrenderituseless.
TheRedpowerlightwillcomeonandtheGreennetworklightwilloscillateinfrequentlyuntilitlocatesthe
networkandonceithassecureditselfonthenetworkthegreenNetworklightwillflashevery4seconds
constantly.
IfthisdoesnothappenaftersayoneminutethesystemhasnotloggedonandyouwillneedtochecktheSIM
Cardispositionedcorrectlyandthattheantennaeisconnectedoritmaybethesignalareaistoolow.
OncethesystemisconnectedtothenetworkitisnowpossibletoactuallyChangethePasswordifrequiredand
thenchecktheSignalStrengthatthelocationusingSMSMessaging.

These2modesareeither“OpenMode”inwhichanypersoncallingtheunitcanaccessthesystemor“Security
Mode”whichrestrictsaccesstoonlythenumbersprogrammedintothesystem.
Thesystemcomesin“OpenMode”asfactorydefaulttoallowthesystemtobesetupandprogrammedprior
switchingthesystemto“SecurityMode”andtochangethemodeisdoneviaSMSMessaging.
