zAfter use, make sure the device is stored in a
way that the blades cannot be touched (blade
protection).
Maintenance
1Attention! Reverse blade
Before all maintenance and cleaning work:
zRemove battery.
zDo not touch running blades.
zDo not spray off the device with water. Do not
use high pressure cleaning or pressurised
steam to clean the device.
zDonot storethe hedge shears inhumid rooms.
zFor safety reasons, replace worn or damaged
parts.
zRepairs must only be performed at a location
staffed by experts.
zUse only WOLF original replacement parts.
Otherwise there is no guarantee that the de-
vice will comply with the safety specifications.
Charger
zThe charger may only be used in dry rooms.
zUnplug cable connections only by pulling on
the plug. Pulling on the cable could damage
cable as well as plug and electrical safety
could not be guaranteed.
zNever use the charger if cable, plug, or the de-
vice itself have been damaged through exter-
nal influence. Bring the charger to the nearest
repair shop.
zUnder no circumstances should you open the
charger. In case of a malfunction take the de-
vice to a repair shop.
zCharge the battery only with a suitable WOLF
Garten charger. The use of other chargers
might cause a fire or damage to the battery.
Battery
zAs a result of incorrect use, fluid can leak from
the rechargeable battery. Avoid contact with
the fluid. In case of accidental contact, rinse
with water. In case of fluid contact with the
eyes, seek medical aid. Leaking battery fluid
can cause irritation of the skin or burns.
zIn the event of improper use of the battery
pack, there is a risk of escaping hazardous
vapours.Always ensureproper ventilationand
immediately consult a doctor, if you feel
unwell. The vapours might irritate the
respiratory track.
1Danger of fire!
zNever charge batteries in the vicinity of
acids or easily flammable materials.
zCharge battery only at a temperature be-
tween10- 45 °C.After a heavyload, first
allow the battery to cool.
1Danger of explosion!
zProtect battery-powered shears from
heat and fire.
zDo not place on heating units or expose
to strong sunlight for an extended period.
zOperate the battery-powered shears
only at temperatures between -10 °C to
+ 45 °C.
1Risk of short circuit
zFor disposal, transport or storage, pack
the battery in a plastic bag or a
cardboard box, or isolate the contacts
with adhesive tape.
zDo not open the battery pack.
Dispose of batteries in an
environmentally responsible manner
zWOLF batteries are Li-ION re-
chargeable batteries, and
therefore must be disposed of
in accordance with waste dis-
posal regulations. Return de-
fective batteries to your dealer
for disposal. Batteries must be
removed from the appliance
before it is scrapped.
