Introducon
The Revoluonary FLASHBACK
Print, ash, and cool down all on the same print head.
For the rst me, prinng, ashing and cooling are all performed on the same print head! Aer the print stroke, the FLASHBACK
automacally slides its thin quartz element in between the garment and the screen. The garment is instantly ash dried and then
cooled. Choose between four ash modes:
PRINT FLASH / PRINT FLASH
This funcon allows the ash element to extend in and out aer every print stroke.
So if the Print head is selected to a single stroke the machine will ood the screen, the tables will raise make a Print stroke and
then the table will lower. When the machine lowers back down the Flashback will then get a signal to Flash. (The FLASHBACK will
extend in and automacally reverse its self back to its home posion).
That same Print head can be selected to double stroke which means when prinng, the head will ood the screen, the tables will
raise and Print then the tables will lower and then the ash will extend in and automacally reverse. The squeegee will then ood
the screen while the ash is extending and retracng waing for the element to return to its home posion so the table can raise
and make the second print stroke. Aer it makes a second stroke the tables will lower again and the ash will extend. This will
only happen in Automac mode as the printer will not double stroke in Manual mode. While in Auto mode though, you will not
normally want the table to turn before it ashes the second stroke so you will either need to run the machine in Foot Pedal mode
or turn the Delay me to around the 8 second mark allowing for the image to be completely ashed.
PRINT FLASH PRINT
This funcon allows the ash to extend in double mode only; the idea behind it is pung a one color on a dark shirt with no other
images to be applied. If the machine is set to single stroke the Flashback will not ash.
The machine will ood then the table will raise and make the Print stroke then lower, the ash will extend in automacally and
retract. It will ood as the element is extending in and out so when the element tray has returned to its home posion it will the
raise and makes its second print stroke. Aer that has happened, the ash will not extend again and the tables can turn immedi-
ately there is no need for delay at this point.
PRINT PRINT FLASH
This funcon allows for the printer to make two Strokes on a screen and then ash the design before the tables turn.
So the machine will ood the screen, then the table will raise and Print, aer, it will lower and ood again then the table will raise
and make the Print stroke the second me. Aer it makes the second Print stroke the machine will lower and the ash element
will extend in and automacally reverse.
The Delay mer will need to be set at around the 8 second mark to allow for the ash to extend and retract before the tables turn
again.

MANUAL TEST
During the setups of a job you will want to ash your test shirt, so you will need to turn the auto ash mode on and the Heat will
need to be on also and in “Print Flash Print Flash” mode. Then posion the test shirt under the head where the Flashback is
installed and then press table up buon on the control box and then table down. This should send Flashback in and it will
automacally reverse. This will only ash one me, if the Flashback is set to Print Flash Print it will funcon but will funcon only
from Manual test from table up and down.
Extend:
The extend control is a ow control that increases or decreases the air supply to the Flashback tray enabling you to slow or speed
up the elements extend stroke. This is done by turning the knob clockwise for slower, or counter clockwise for faster.
Retract:
The Retract control is a ow control that increases or decreases the air supply to the Flashback tray enabling you to slow or speed
up the elements retract stroke. This is done by turning the knob clockwise for slower, or counter clockwise for faster.
*WARNING*
FLASH TABLE UP / FLASH TABLE DOWN
The Flashback can be used for two dierent ways of ashing.
You are able to Print Flash and cool down all in one spot. This is Flash Table Down, in this mode it will not allow the machine to
raise while the element tray is extended out in between pallets and Screen.
The second mode is as a Standard style or in head ash, this is Flash Table Up. This mode will allow the table to raise while the
element is extended out above a pallet There are steps needed to be made for this to work right with out damaging the bulbs.
Remove the front clamp from the machine by rst disconnecng the 5/32” airlines and then removing the ½-13 ange nuts. This
will allow you to leave the micro aached to the press.
Then raise the Flashback by loosening the front levers and turning the knob and slowly raise the front, do this in increments where
you then loosen the back levers and raise it up by turning the knob. You will want to raise the Flashback 2 inches or so above the
pallet, this will allow for clearance over the pallet when the table is raised. However before allowing the table to raise with the
element extended you will want to measure the distance between the boom of the element to the top of the pallet, it must be
more than 2 inches.
Do not ash pellons they will burn , all pellons burn.

1. Heat On/O: This turns on or o the elements and the blower motors.
2. Auto Flash On/ O: When on this will automacally extend and retract the element tray in sequence with the tables rotaon. In
the o posion the ash will remain retracted when no ash is needed.
3. Mode Selecon;
PRINT FLASH PRINT
This funcon allows the ash to extend in double mode only; the idea behind it is pung a one color on a dark shirt with
no other images to be applied. If the machine is set to single stroke the Flashback will not ash.
The machine will ood then the table will raise and make the Print stroke then lower, the ash will extend in
automacally and retract. It will ood as the element is extending in and out so when the element tray has returned to
its home posion it will the raise and makes its second print stroke. Aer that has happened, the ash will not extend
again and the tables can turn immediately there is no need for delay at this point.
PRINT PRINT FLASH
This funcon allows for the printer to make two Strokes on a screen and then ash the design before the tables turn. So
the machine will ood the screen, then the table will raise and Print, aer, it will lower and ood again then the table
will raise and make the Print stroke the second me. Aer it makes the second Print stroke the machine will lower and
the ash element will extend in and automacally reverse.
The Delay mer will need to be set at around the 8 second mark to allow for the ash to extend and retract before the
tables turn again.
PRINT FLASH / PRINT FLASH
This funcon allows the ash element to extend in and out aer every print stroke.
So if the Print head is selected to a single stroke the machine will ood the screen, the tables will raise make a Print stroke
and then the table will lower. When the machine lowers back down the Flashback will then get a signal to Flash. (The
FLASHBACK will extend in and automacally reverse its self back to its home posion).

Check the voltage on the black and white wires on the contactor it should be 220v - 240vac if not replace the contacotr . If the cor-
rect voltage is present check the wire connecons inside the element tray.
4. The Ink is Drying in the Screen:
Are the blowers working? If yes, are the screens on the ends of the blowers clogged? If so, remove all lint and debris.
Are the deectors tarnished or burnt on the on the element tray? If so they will need to be replaced.
