3. 5 PIECECOUNTER MODE
Before getting started, store the tare of every container to be used leaving the
container empty on the scale. Place the intended quantity of samples on the scale
selecting one of the options: 10, 20, 50, 100 or 200 pieces.
Press the FUNC key. The scale displays "P 10" to ask for a sample comprising 10
pieces. To change the sample dimension press the TARE key. The display scrolls
cyclically the following options: 10,20, 50, 100, 200 and returns to 10.
Press the ZERO key when the number matches the quantity of pieces used as
sample. Adding weight, the display shows the number of pieces (pcs).
Press the %key to see the unit weight (g/pcs), total weight (kg) or the counting (pcs).
Press the FUNC key to return to the normal weighing mode.
3. 6 CHECKWEIGHER MODE
The Checkweiher mode activates an alarm whenever the weight on the scale
reaches or exceeds the set values included between an upper limit and a lower limit.
Limits can be used individually or at the same time.
Press the LIMIT key. The current Upper Limit is displayed, its left digit flashing and the
symbol HI on the left of the display. To modify the displayed value, use the % and LIMIT
key to select the digit to be changed. Then pressing the TARE key, move along the active
digits. Press ZERO when the number is correct to enter the value. To set the value to
zero, press the FUNC key which deletes it.
After pressing ZERO the Lower Limit is displayed, the symbol LO appears on the left
of the display.
Follow the same procedure to set the lower limit.
After pressing ZERO the scale returns to the Weighing mode with the Checkweigher
mode activated.
Loading the scale with a weight outside the limits, causes arrows to appear and the
alarm activates as previously described.
BOTH LIMITS SET
OK is displayed and the acoustic alarm activates if the weight is inside the
limits.
LOWER LIMIT SET, UPPER LIMIT equals zero
OK is displayed and the acoustic alarm activates if the weight is under the
Lower Limit. Above the lower limit, HIGH is displayed and the alarm is not
activated.
UPPER LIMIT SET, LOWER LIMIT equals zero
LOW is displayed and the alcoustic alarm does not go off if the weight is
under the Upper Limit. Above the Upper Limit OK is displayed and the
acoustic alarm is activated.
BOTH LIMITS SET. LOW value higher than HIGH
The alarm does not go off and LOW is displayed in case the weight is under
the Lower Limit and HIGH in case the weight is above the Lower Limit.
Note: A proper Checkweigher operation is possible only if the weight is heavier than
20 divisions. To disable the Checkweigher mode, enter zero in both limits pressing FUNC
when the current limits are displayed, then press ZERO to save.
Note: it is possible to set the upper/lower limits in all modes: normal, percentage and
piececounter.
