1. GENERAL
The B200 series comprise accurate, fast and multi-task scales with checkweigher
fuction as well.
The range includes 5 series, with platforms from 320mm x 360mm to 600mm x
800mm, and capacities from 6kg to 1000kg.
They all come with automatic zero tracking, acoustic alarm for preset weights, and
totalization function for storing weighing operations which can be recalled as general
total.
2. KEYS
ON/ OFF or
Switches the instrument on and off.
Zero or
0
Sets the scale to zero and displays zero for all subsequent weighing operations.
Its secondary function is the "Enter" key while setting parameters or other
functions.
Tare or
T
Saves the current weight as tare value, subtracts it from the weight and shows the
result.
Its secondary function increases the active digit while setting values for parameters
or other functions.
Press Zero and Tare together in the normal weighing mode to activate/deactivate
the live stock weighing function (these actions are signalled by a double acoustic
signal).
MR
Recalls the total of the weighing operations accrued in the memory.
In setting mode, shifts the active digits to the right.
Keep MR pressed to gain access to the Piececounter mode.

M+
Stores the current weight.
In setting mode, shifts the active digits to the left.
Press M+ and MR for MC (memory clear)
Print or
Pressing Print during the selfcheck gives access to the setting mode.
G/N or B/G
Changes unit of measurement.
Second function (ESC): returns to the normal operation from the setting mode.
Keep G/N pressed to change the unit of measurement.
Press G/N and Print together to set the Checkweigher function, it is possible to set
an upper limit, a lower limit or both.
3. FUNCTIONS
3.1 Display zeroing
Press ZERO to set the scale to zero, for the subsequent weighing operations and
countings, within 4% of the power on. This is usually necessary whenever the scale is
empty. Upon zero setting, the scale displays the zero indication.
The scale comes with an automatic zeroing function in case slight drifs are detected
or some material has accumulated on the platform. Anyway, press the ZERO key to set
the scale to zero whenever a small value is displayed when the platform is empty.
3.2 Tare capture
If necessary, set the scale to zero pressing ZERO. The zero indication appears.
Place a container on the platform, the value of its weight is displayed.

Press TARE to capture a tare. The displayed weight is stored as tare value, then
subtracted and zero is displayed. The indication "NET" appears. Only the weights of the
products added on the scale are displayed. It is possible to insert another tare in case a
second product has to be weighed. Again, only the weight added after the tare caption
is displayed.
Upon removal of the container, a negative value is displayed. If the scale has
captured a tare just before the removal of the full container, the value is the gross
weight. The zero indication is on.
4. CHECKWEIGHER
4.1 General
The Checkweigher function activates an alarm whenever the weight on the scale
reaches or exceeds the set values included between an Upper Limit and a Lower Limit.
OK Check Mode:
Whenever a range is checked, the LED OK appears (green) and the alarm activates if
the weight is inside the limits.
NG Check Mode:
Whenever a range is checked, the LED HI or LOW appears (red) and the alarm
activates if the weight is outside the limits.

4.3 Checkweigher mode
Press G/N and print together, “set h” is displayed, by means of TARE selelect the
beep, premss ZERO to enter, press TARE to select ok (OK Check Mode), ng (NG
Check Mode), no (no beep), press ZERO, press G/N to exit.
4.4 NOTES
The Checkweigher function is available for weights above 20d only.
To desable the Checkweigher function, set both limits to zero pressing PRINT
when the current limits are displayed, then press ZERO to store zero values.
5. GENERAL TOTAL
5.1 Notes
It is possible to manually store weighing operations pressing M+.
Before any storage, the scale shall return to zero. Press M+ only when the weight
is stable. Weighing operations under 20d are not possible.
5.2 Totalization function
The displayed weight is stored when the weight is stable and pressing M+.
"ACC 1" is displayed before the stored total for 2 seconds (the “M+” indicator
appears after the totalization operation).

Remove the weight, and place another one after the scale has set to zero.
Press M+, "ACC 2" and the new total are displayed.
Keep adding articles.
5.3 Stored total recall
To see the stored totals, press MR.
5.4 Stored data deletion
To clear the memory, press M+ and MR together
6. PIECECOUNTER
Keep MR pressed to gain access to the Piececounter mode, “P 10” is displayed,
press TARE to select the sample quantity (10/20/50/100/200), place the same selected
quantity on the scale, press ZERO, “-----“ is displayed, the the current quantity.
After processing the sample it is possible to add pieces on the platform and their
quantity is displayed.
In the Piececounter mode, it is possible to press MR for the normal weighing
mode.

7. KEYBOARD LOCK
The keyboard locks after 10 minute inactivity, in this condition, pressing any key,
“K-LCK” is displayed.
To escape from the lock condition and return to the working mode, keep PRINT ,
MR , ZERO pressed for 2 seconds, “ULCK” is displayed and the scale returns to the
normal mode.
8. BATTERY OPERATION
The scale can be battery operated. The battery has an approximately 70 hour life
span.
When the battery needs to be recharged, the arrow above the low battery symbol
under the weight display is on. The battery must be recharged as soon as the arrow
above the symbol appears. The scale operates for one hour, then it automatically
switches off in order to protect the battery.
To recharge the battery plug it in the power network. It is not necessary for the
scale to be on.
The battery needs 12 hours to fully recharge.
Under the display, a LED informs about the battery status. When the scale is
connected to the power network, the built in battery is recharging.

If the LED is green, the battery is completely charged. If it is red, the battery is
almost flat. Using the battery can cause it to fail full recharge. If the battery life span
becomes unacceptable, please contact the dealer.

modify the auto power off time (ON: always active, 5: auto power off after 5 minutes in
standby, 15: auto power off after 15 minutes in standby), press ZERO to confirm, press
G/N to exit.
