RF immobilizer bypass for most
Mitsubishi models from 2004 & up
When the programming tool will prompt to insert the new key and turn the
ignition ON, put the transponder part of the RFLMIT3 close to ignition and
power-up the ignition wire with a jumper wire.

Once the programming tool asks you to remove the new
programmed key, remove the jumper wire from ignition and
remove the RFLMIT3 from the ignition switch.

The RFLMIT3 is now programmed.
Complete the instructions on dealer scan tool display.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Once the transponder has been programmed to the vehicle, it can not be used on any other vehicle.
You will need two (2) valid keys of the vehicle.
The RFLMIT3 is now programmed.

Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch and turn it to the ON position.
Leave the key to the ON position for 5 seconds. Do not start
Within ten (10) seconds, remove the first key from ignition and
repeat step 1 with the second original key. This time leave the
key ON until the security light begins to flash.
Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the second key.
Within thirty (30) seconds, position the transponder part of the RFLMIT3
close to ignition and power-up the ignition wire with a jumper wire.
The security light will stop flashing and come solid to confirm the
programming. Remove the jumper wire from ignition and remove
the RFLMIT3 from the ignition switch.

LIMITED ONE-YEAR CONSUMER WARRANTY
For a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase of a Directed Electronics remote start or security product,
Directed Electronics. (“DIRECTED”) promises to the original purchaser, to repair or replace with a comparable
reconditioned piece, the security or remote start accessory piece (hereinafter the “Part”), which proves to be
defective in workmanship or material under normal use, provided the following conditions are met: the Part was
purchased from an authorized DIRECTED dealer; and the Part is returned to DIRECTED, postage prepaid, along
with a clear, legible copy of the receipt or bill of sale bearing the following information: consumer’s name, address,
telephonenumber,theauthorizedlicenseddealer’snameandcompleteproductandPartdescription.
Thiswarrantyisnontransferableand isautomaticallyvoidifthe Parthasbeenmodifiedorused inamannercontrary
to its intended purpose or the Part has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect, improper service,
installationorothercausesnotarisingoutofdefectinmaterialsorconstruction.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
EXPRESS WARRANTY, IMPLIED WARRANTY, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR
PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTY OF NON INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, ARE
EXPRESSLYEXCLUDED;ANDDIRECTEDNEITHERASSUMESNORAUTHORIZESANYPERSONORENTITY
TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY DUTY, OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH ITS PRODUCTS.
DIRECTED HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND HASABSOLUTELY NO LIABILITY FOR ANYAND ALLACTS OF THIRD
PARTIES INCLUDING DEALERS OR INSTALLERS. IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM OR A DISPUTE INVOLVING

LIMITED TO THEAUTHORIZED DIRECTED DEALER’S PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PART. DIRECTED SHALL
NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, DAMAGES FOR THE LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF
EARNINGS, COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOSS OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND THE LIKE.
NOTWITHSTANDING THE ABOVE, THE MANUFACTURER DOES OFFER A LIMITED WARRANTY TO
