I. SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS
Read these simple guidelines before using the device. Not following them may be
dangerous or illegal.
Switch off the mobile phone in airplane. The mobile phone may interfere with
the airplane. Please follow related regulations. Please disable the schedule power
on function of the mobile phone before boarding the airplane.
Do not use the mobile phone when you are at gas station or near inflammable
goods and chemicals.
Do not use the mobile phone when you are near inflammable goods and
explosives.
Keep the mobile phone away from children to avoid danger.
Do not use the mobile phone while driving to ensure safety. Do not put the mobile
on airbag or at any place where the airbag may reach when it expands, otherwise you
may get hurt.
Use original battery, charger, earphone and accessories only. We are not
responsible for any results caused by third party accessories.
Only YAKOYA service centers can maintain the phone. Do not disassemble the
phone or accessories by yourself. You can send your mobile phone to service center if it
needs to be repaired. We are not responsible for the damage caused by unqualified
disassembly.
Follow special provisions and switch off your mobile phone in hospital where
mobile phone is prohibited or may cause interference or danger.
The radio frequency signals from the mobile phone may interfere with
unshielded electronic devices such as hearing aid, pace maker, medical instrument
and other domestic and vehicle electronic devices. Please consult the manufacturer
for the interference.
Keep the mobile phone dry. Do not use it in any place with high humidity, e.g. the
bathroom. This device isn‟t waterproof. Keep it away from rain and moisture. Do not
clean the mobile phone with corrosive solutes such as alcohol and benzene.
The electromagnetic wave is a conductor for the thunder and it is easily to absorb the
thunder. Therefore, please avoid using mobile phone in thunder weather and switch off

the phone in open area when there is no lighting protection device.
Use the mobile phone reasonably. This mobile phone is equipped with inbuilt
antenna. Do not touch the antenna area to avoid affecting the communication.
To make an emergency call, please make sure that the phone is powered on and in
service area. Input the emergency number and then press the Call key. End the call after
the emergency calling.
Please backup your important data to avoid inconvenience and losses caused by
accidents (low battery).
About the phone
This mobile phone is designed for GSM900 and GSM1800. Please contact your
network operator for details. While using this phone, please follow local laws and
regulations and do not violate other people‟s privacy and legal rights.
To take pictures, please follow local laws and regulations and do not violate local
customs and other people‟s privacy and legal rights.
Note: Switch on the mobile phone before using the functions (except alarm
clock). Do not turn on the mobile phone if it will cause interference or danger.
Services
You need to subscribe for necessary service to wireless service provider before
using this mobile phone. Many functions of the mobile phone depend on wireless
networks. You need to subscribe for these services before using. Your network
operator will provide the service instructions and charging standard. Certain networks
may have limitations, which will affect the mode of using network services. For
example, certain network doesn‟t support all characters and services basing on language.
Your network operator may disable certain functions of the mobile phone. In this
case, these functions won‟t be displayed in the list. Your mobile phone may also have
been configured. These configurations may include the changes of list name, order and

4. Keypad Description
Conversation Control Keys
1Right /left arrow: move the cursor right or left. In the idle state, press the left
key to enter the [Writing Message] Menu and press the right key to enter the [Camera]
menu.
2Up/down arrow: move the cursor up or down. In the idle state, press the up key
to enter the [audio Player] menu and press the down key to enter the [Video player]
menu.
3Left soft key: perform the functions indicated in the lower left corner.
4Right soft key: perform the functions indicated in the lower right corner.
5Dial other phones and answer the calls:in the idle state, it can check the call
records.
6End Key: End a conversation or refuse a call; press the key for a long time will
turn off/on the mobile phone; in other conditions, pressing the key usually return to the
idle state.
7Number Keys: press the number key of 0-9 to input numbers and characters;
when you want to enter the menus, press the number keys can help to choose the menus
quickly; when the speed dial function is enabled, press the number keys of 2-9 for a
long time will dial the assigned speed dial numbers. In idle state, long press on 0 key
activate/deactivate the Save mode.
8* Key: It has different functions in different states or functional menus.

state, long press for this key activate/deactivate the Silent mode.
10 OK Key: when in the idle state, press this key to enter the main menu, or long
press to enter audio player.

III. Use Guide
1. Install SIM Card and Battery
Before installing a SIM card, always turn off your mobile and disconnect it from the
charger.
Caution: SIM card and its contact point can be easily scratched or distorted and
results in the card cannot be recognized by mobile phones, so please be careful when
using it.
The Installation Steps are as follows:
A. Go to the back of the phone, push up the battery cover and take off it from the
phone. As shown in the illustration below, take off the battery and remove it.
B. The metal contact point of SIM card should be downward, lightly push SIM
card downwards until it cannot be pushed any longer.
Note: insert the SIM card into SIM card 1 slot first.
C. Align the metals of the battery and the battery cabin, Push down the battery as
shown, and then refit the battery cover.

2. Install the Memory Card
You mobile supports Micro SD card and you can install one piece of memory
card to expand the storage space of your mobile phone.
Caution: Please do not scratch or distort the memory card nor touch any static
electricity, dust or water.
■ Turn off the phone and disconnect it from
the charger then remove the battery. Insert
the memory card into its slot; pull the lid of
the memory card so that it is fixed. When you
want to take out the memory card, please turn
off the phone firstly and disconnect it from
the charger then remove the battery and then
you can take it out.
3. Charge the Battery
The power of new battery has not been released completely.
Before you use your mobile phone, you need to install the
battery and charge the battery in the following methods. The
new battery should be charged and released for two or three
times before it can reach the optimal performance.
(1) Plug the charger connector into the charge
interface of the phone.

4. Turn on & Turn off
Caution: When the use of mobile phone is forbidden or will cause disturbance or
dangers, please do not turn it on.
When you want to turn on or turn off the phone, please press the End key for a long
time.
If you have turned on the phone but without a SIM card, then the phone will remind
you to “insert SIM”. After the SIM card is inserted, the phone will automatically check
whether the SIM card can be used.
Then the screen will display the following information:
Input phone lock code: if you have set the code of phone lock.
Please input PIN: if you have set the code of SIM card.
Welcome note: if you have set the welcome note and enabled this function.
Search: search until appropriate network link is found.
Caution: Please do not press and hold down the turn on/off key for longer time,
or the mobile will be turned off again.
(2) Plug the charger into the electrical outlet.

IV. Frequently used Functions
1. Making a call
You need to switch on the mobile phone and stay in service area to make a call.
The performance, which can be affected by barriers, may be improved from
moving within a small range.
Note: When two SIMs are installed and after pressing the call key, you need to
choose the SIM card you want to use for this call from the menu.
■Dial domestic call
Enter telephone number with Number keys. Then, press Call key to make a call.
Press the Right soft key to clear the digits you entered if you need to change the
telephone number. The dialing image will be displayed on the screen. Once the other
party answers, the screen displays the call status.
You can follow the sequence below to make a domestic call:
Area code > telephone number > Call key
■Dial fixed telephone extension number
For extension number, you have to dial the telephone exchange; then, press * Key
to switch in a row until “P” shows on the screen. Now you can call an extension.
You can follow the sequence below to call an extension:
Area code > telephone number > P > extension number followed by Call key
■Make international call
If you need to make an international call, press and hold the * key until the prefix
symbol “+” of international long distance call appears on the screen , and you can make
a call to any country if you know the International country calling code (for example, 49
to call Germany).
You can follow the sequence below to make an international call:
+ > Country code > area code > land phone number > Call key
The complete telephone number consists of area code and telephone number. You
need to delete the 0 in the front of the area code as dialing international call.
2. Emergency call
As long as the network service is available, which can be checked via viewing the
signal strength bar at the upper left corner of the screen, you can make an emergency
call. If your network operator doesn‟t provide roaming service in your area, the word
“Emergency” will appear on the screen and you could only make emergency call. If
you are located in a service area of the network, emergency calls can also be made
without a SIM card.

3. Answering a call
You can select different modes to answer a call. If Any key answering mode is
selected, you can press any keys except the End key to answer a call. If earphone is
inserted, you can press the key on the earphone to answer a call; you can also enable
Auto-answer (available in Earphone profile only) and the incoming call will be
answered automatically.
4. Ending a call
You can press the End key or Right soft key to reject the incoming call.
During the call, you can press the End key or press OK and then select “End active
call” to end the current call.
Press the End key or Right soft key to cancel calling.
5. Call options
During the call, press OK to enter Options. You can perform the following
operation in call options:
Hold/Retrieve single call*: Hold the call or resume the held call.
End single call: End the call.
Switch*: Switch between active call and held call.
New call: Enter a new dialing interface.
Phonebook: access Contacts.
Messaging: Access the messaging menu. (Because of the restriction of network
occupation, MMS will be prohibited in calling process.)
Sound recorder:Record the speech of the current call.
Mute (On/Off): if On is selected, the local speech won‟t be sent.
DTMF: Switch the DTMF (standard keys tones) on/off. When DTMF is switched on,
pressing a key will send the associated key tone to the other party.
Divert*: Divert certain calls to a specified number.
End all*: End the active and held calls.
Conference*: Enter the multi-party conference state. You can add the incoming call to
the conference, hold the conference, end the active call and all held calls according to
the prompt.
Note: The entry with the mark * appears only at specific condition. For example:
“Switch” is available only when active call and held call exist at the same time.
Also, certain options are network services. Please consult your network operator
for details.

6. Downloading files from PC to phone
You can download the files from the PC to the mobile phone memory card through
USB data cable. The specific operation follows:
1. Use the original USB data cable to connect the mobile phone and the PC.
From the mobile phone select “Mass storage” in the USB setting menu and
the mobile phone disk icon will appear in the system tray in the lower right
corner of the PC screen.
2. Open My Computer and select the mobile phone disk.
3. Copy files from the PC to the folders in the mobile phone disk or vice versa.
4. After that, double click the mobile phone disk icon in the system tray in the
lower right corner of the PC screen, select the corresponding device, click
Stop, and then select OK.
Note: You can‟t play/view the files that the mobile phone doesn‟t support. Also
you cannot play/view files on the mobile phone while in Mass storage mode.
7. Using the webcam
The webcam enables video calls through the camera of the mobile phone and the
Internet connection of the PC.
Requirements of the webcam on PC configuration:
1. Windows XP Sp2 or later
2. Software that supports video call, such as MSN or Skype
3. Internet connection
Operation procedure:
■Press the End key to switch on the mobile phone.
■Connect the mobile phone to the PC with the USB data cable.
■Select Webcam option in the USB setting menu and press OK key to enter the
webcam state.
■Make sure that the network connection of the PC is smooth.
■Make the video call through the software that supports video call, such as MSN
or Skype.
Features of webcam:
■Plug and play
■Auto exposure
■Auto gain control
■Improve the video effect by adjusting the options of the webcam in the PC,
such as brightness and backlight contrast.
Note: The actual refreshing rate depends on the speed of the Internet.

8. Dual Cards & Dual Standby Function
You can insert two SIM card at the same time. If only one SIM card is installed, the
phone can also be used normally.
9. Look up mobile sequence number
In standby state, input “*#06#” and the serial number of the mobile phone appears
on the screen; you can press OK or the End key to exit.

V. Function Menus
Call center
1. Call history
oSIM1 call history
■SIM1 missed calls
In the missed call menu, the missed calls will be displayed. Press the Dial
up/Answer key to make a call to the selected number. To check the detailed
information of the missed calls, press the OK key. The Options menu includes
the following contents (enter this menu by pressing the left soft key):
View: show the detailed information of the missed call.
Call: dial the number.
IP dial: IP dial for the number.
SIM1 hand free dial: SIM1 hands free dial for the number.
SIM2 hands free dial: SIM2 hands free dial for the number.
Send text message: send a short message to the number.
Send multimedia message: send a multimedia message to the
number.
Save to Phonebook: save the number in the phonebook.
Add to Blacklist: add the number to the Blacklist.
Edit before call: Modify the incoming call number for saving or
dial-up.
Delete: delete the selected number from the missed calls history.
Delete all: delete all numbers from the missed calls history.
Advanced: this menu has the following options:
SIM1 call timers: Press OK key to enter the submenu of the
call timers, you can check the call time records so far of the
phone.
Last call: show the last call time.
Dialled calls: show the total call time of the dialed numbers.
Received calls: show the total call time of the received calls.
Reset all: set the above three time records to zero.
SIM1 call cost: The call charges can be limited and checked.
This function needs the support of the network provider.
SIM1 text message counter: in this menu, you can check
the number of the short messages sent and received; by

pressing the OK key “Reset”, you can delete the above
records.
SIM1 GPRS counter
In this menu, you can check the data flow transmitted in the
GPRS network, including the GPRS data flow transmitted and
received last time and all the transmitted and received GPRS
data flow; by resetting the counter, all the above records will
be set to zero.
■SIM1 dialed calls
In the dialed calls menu, the current dialed numbers records will be displayed.
Press the Dial up/Answer key to make a call to the selected number. To check the
detailed information of the dialed calls, press the OK key. Press the left soft key
“Options”, to enter a menu similar to the missed calls.
■ SIM1 received calls
In the received calls menu, the current received calls records will be displayed.
Press the Dial up/Answer key to make a call to the selected number. To check the
detailed information of received calls, press the OK key. Press the left soft key
“Options”, to enter a menu similar to the missed calls.
■All calls
This menu gathers all types of call records (dialed, received and missed calls) in
one place. Each type has its icon.
oSIM2 call history
Please refer to "SIM1 call history".
2.Call settings
oSIM1 call settings
■ Caller ID
When you invite others to have a conversation as the host, this function can
set whether the host phone number will be displayed in the conversation interface
of the called party.
● Set by network: whether the host number will be displayed in the called

party will be decided by the network.
● Hide ID: the host number will not be displayed in the called party.
● Send ID: the host number will be displayed in the called party.
Caution: the Send and Hide functions of the ID need the support of the network
provider, so please contact your network provider to start this function.
■Call Waiting
You will be notified for a new call during the current one after this function is
activated. Please contact your network operator for details.
■Call divert
This service enables you to forward an incoming call of a certain business to
the telephone number you specified. You can activate/deactivate call diverting. This
service requires the support of the network. Contact your network operator to
activate this service.
■Call barring
This service may not be provided by some network operator. For more
information, contact your network operator.
■ Line switching
With line switching (needs network support), you can select line 1 or line 2 to
select different own numbers.
■Closed user group
Specify a group of users that you can call them and answer their calls. Please
contact your network operator for details.
oSIM2 call settings
Please refer to “SIM1 call settings”.
oBlacklist
Set the “Mode” as ON or OFF to activate or deactivate this function. In the
“Blacklist numbers”, you can add or delete phone numbers you want to blacklist them.
When a number from your blacklist numbers calls you, the call will be rejected by busy
tone.

oReject by SMS
Your mobile phone supports sending SMS for calls you reject. You can
enable/disable this feature. When this feature is enabled, you can select “Reject by
SMS” for the incoming call, a confirmation will show up to confirm sending the SMS.
The default SMS is “Sorry, I‟ll call you later”
oSpeed dial
Turn on or off speed dial feature. Select “Set number” item, then choose one of
the keys from 2 to 9 and assign a phone number to it. Then you can dial this number by
long pressing this key.
oCalling saving
You can activate or deactivate this function. If this function is enabled, the
backlight brightness will be reduced immediately when the phone is in call interface
(during the call).
oGreen call
The radiation at the moment when the call is put through is far more than it is
during the call. The unique Green-screen Protection feature of the mobile phone can
help you avoid the high radiation easily. After you get through, the phone will give you
a tip that screen is changed into green along with vibration. Then you can take the phone
near your ear so that avoid the high radiation. You can turn on/off the vibration
according to your use habit.
oAdvanced Setting
■Auto redial
Set it as ON or OFF to activate or deactivate this function. With this function,
the mobile phone will redial automatically if the calling fails. This function
eliminates the trouble of repeated dialing.
■IP dial
Three groups of IP numbers can be edited and set at maximum. In Contacts
menu, select IP call in Options and the mobile phone will add the activated IP
number before the number automatically and then make the call.
■Call time display
Select ON/OFF for this option to activate/deactivate the call time display
during the call.
