Please read carefully this Manual with below Caution before use and use correctly.
If you do not understand and have any questions, please contact with below
department and make best Installation, Operation and Maintenance after sufficient
knowledge from us.
Please transfer this Manual to person in charge of end user and maintenance person
and Duty maintenance manager.

1.2 Cautions for Safety
Keep this Caution to use products at safely and correctly to prevent before any
troubles and dangerous cases are occurred.
Use this product function as sufficiently and safely after carefully reading of this
Manual.
The Caution means as below 2 kinds:

When user do violate this Introduction of Manual, it
cause serious injury and death to user.

cause light injury to user and made products

WARNING
1. If the product is watered, do not repair it. This will make electrical shock to user.
2. Do not use when a Cable is peeled off and damaged. This will make Electrical shock to
user.
3. Do make sure to fix the equipment after installation work.
NOTICE
1. Please keep the product away from water and dust. Otherwise this will make defect on
the product.
2. Please use all parts matching to right capacity. Otherwise this will make defect on the
product.
3. Please do no change the inner wiring of the product. Otherwise this will make defect
on the product.
4. Please do maintain and operate the work by trained technician. If non-qualified user
does these works, it makes defect and trouble on the product.

1.3 QUALITY GUARANTY
The product guaranty under this manual applied is 2 years after supply to site. The
consumable parts are excluded from guaranty period.
The troubles caused by products defects will be free of charge during guaranty period,
but, user mistakes and mis-use will be charged.

3. INSTALLATION
3.1 General
The light is supplied at a condition of assembled and tested by YOUYANG.
The Light product is supplied under KS, ICAO and FAA regulation requirement and Light
capacity, color and intensity can be decided with user to meet with airfield site
condition.
The Light installation method is complied with ICAO and FAA installation requirements.
Please see below procedure.
3.2 JIG & TOOLS for INSTALLATION
The Jig & Tools for installation work must be prepared and refer below list.
Jig for line arrangement with optical device
Torque Wrench
Ring spanner set
“L”type wrench set
Silicon grease
Driver
Other necessary tools.
3.3 CHECK POINTS before INSTALLATION
The Deep base (box) or Shallow base(box) must be installed before Light to be
installed as requirement as below.
The Light position is met with KS, ICAO, FAA and MAK Requirement?
The base box arrangement is met with requirement?

3.4 LIGHT INSTALLATION
Light is installed on earth with anchors and refer to below procedure.
3.4.1 SHALLOW BASE INSTALLATION
Light Installation Procedure
1) Mark bolts’right position of light on concrete floor.
2) Make 4 holes with concrete drill hammer.
3) Lay down light on the right position of 4 holes.
4) Drive 1/2”anchors into the holes of light and concrete floor.
5) Set the direction of light and fix it with bolts of coupling.

< NOTE >
-. To fasten bolts should be used by torque wrench.
(Torque Pressure: 30 N.m)
4. MAINTENANCE and REPAIR PROCEDURE

4.2 TROUBLE SHOOTING
Please follow up as below action for trouble shooting.
*Do change assembly of light at site and then, troubled light must be repaired at
maintenance shop to prevent runway shut-down time.

-. This photo shows that faulty LED Assembly is
separated from light.

Re-assembly
-. Assemble a new LED Assembly in revert of dis-
assembly order.
<NOTE>
1. Do not re-use O-ring and packing. (In a case of inevitable situation to
reuse them, please check the defective or not.)
2. Do work Lamp replacement wearing soft globes.
(Do not touch lamp by bare hands.)

In inevitable situation, check any defects on them or not.

4.3.4 COUPLING REPLACEMENT

-. When replacing broken coupling, un-
fasten 2 hexagon bolts with spanner
(13mm).
-. Take the broken coupling away from
Light.
-. Take coupling away from plate as well.
-. Assemble a new coupling into plate.
-. Assemble light into coupling.
-. Fix the light with spanner.
NOTE : When fixing the light, watch out not
to be bent out of main beam direction.
5.운송 및보관
5.1 STORAGE
1) All Lights are supplied by each packing box and each box has name plate and
indicated box content at outside of box.
2) All light must be stored at dry condition without dust in the room.
5.2 2 Storage Atmosphere condition
1) Place : Dry and No dust place
2) Temperature : - 55~ +70 °C
3) Humidity : below than 90%

5.3 TRANSPORTATION
1) Arrange as low load box to be upper side and heavy load box to be lower side.
2) Marking at outside of big box when several small boxes input in big box what is
content in big box.
3) When transportation, the container, selves and boxes can be used.
4) Make a protection action for box contents from dust when container is opened.
5) The general regulation must be kept when transportation is made by air and sea
shipment and shall be followed with International transportation regulation.
