[DE] Demontieren Sie Zierleiste, Klimabedienteil
und das Werksradio. Für die Montage des
Z-N720 BMW OmniMask Kits muss der
Radioschacht wie auf dem Bild zu sehen
präpariert werden, was in den nachfolgenden
Bearbeitungsschritten 2), 3) und 4) zu sehen ist.
[DE] Entfernen Sie den Halterahmen aus
Kunststoff.
[EN] Remove the trim frame, A/C control panel
and the factory radio. For assembly of the
Z-N720 device, the BMW radio mounting slot
needs to be prepared as shown in the picture,
which is described in the steps 2), 3) and 4).

[EN] Remove the main mounting / retaining
frame made of plastic.
[DE] Trennen Sie die rot markierten Flächen mit
einem geeigneten Werkzeug, z.B. Dremel ab.

[EN] Trim off all the marked areas with a suitable
tool, for example a Dremel cutter.
[DE] Der Radio Halterahmen sollte nach
erfolgter mechanischer Bearbeitung wie hier
abgebildet aussehen.

[EN] The radio mounting frame should look
as shown, after mechanical processing is
completed.

[DE] Bearbeiten Sie – falls notwendig – das
Klimabedienteil wie im Bild links sichtbar.
[EN] Treat the housing plastic of the A/C control
panel - if necessary – as shown in the picture on
the left.

[DE] Der Metallwinkel zur Gerätemontage links
muss in defi niertem Abstand zur Gehäusekante
montiert und festgezogen werden.

[EN] The LEFT metal bracket for device
mounting must be fi xed to the metal cage in a
defi ned distance to the housing, as shown on
the left.

[DE] Verfahren Sie mit dem Metallwinkel rechts
identisch und beachten Sie den korrekten
Abstand zur Gehäusekante.

[EN] The RIGHT metal bracket for device
mounting needs to be affi xed to the cage in
proper distance, in identical manner to the right
side, as shown.

[DE] Dauerplus Leitung von der Batterie im
Kofferraum abnehmen und zum Radioschacht
nach vorne verlegen. Das Flachbandkabel der
Bedieneinheit gegen das beiliegende längere
Flachbandkabel austauschen.

[EN] Route a positive (permanent) wire lead
from the battery in the vehicle trunk, to the radio
mounting slot.
Replace the ribbon cable of the control unit with
the longer version supplied with the OmniMask
set.

[DE] Verschraubungen am Gehäuse lösen,
neues Kabel einsetzen und alle Schrauben
wieder anziehen.

[EN] Remove the screws of the housing, connect
/ mount the new cable and re-tighten all screws
back up again.

[DE] Setzen Sie das Klimabedienteil und auch
die Optionstastenleiste in die OmniMask Blende
ein.
[EN] The A/C control panel and vehicle
button assembly bar must be inserted into the
OmniMask frame.

[DE] Stellen Sie nun alle benötigten gesteckten
Verbindungen zum Z-N720 Gerät her.
Montieren Sie das Z-N720 an den originalen
Verschraubungspunkten, an denen das
Werksradio befestigt war.

[EN] Insert or connect all the plugs and wires
as required for correct device operation of the
Z-N720. Proceed to mount the Z-N720 to the
vehicle, using the OE mounting points used to
affi x the factory radio.
[DE] Die OmniMask Blende unten ansetzen und
dann oben andrücken und einrasten.

[EN] Place the OmniMask panel with its lower
edge fi rst and press on the upper section to lock
the panel in place.

[DE] Das Resultat von vorne sollte so aussehen.
[EN] When all is done correctly, it should look
as depicted on the left side.

[DE] Die Zierleiste aufstecken. Die Montage ist
beendet.

[EN] Press on the trim panel. The installation is
completed.
