1. 燃料は引火しやすいので取扱には十分ご注意ください。燃料
補給時は、必ずエンジンを停止し、冷えてから給油してくだ
さい。裸火や火花は燃料から遠ざけてください。
2. 燃料がこぼれた場合は、速やかに完全にふき取ってください。
3. 排気ガスによる中毒の恐れがありますので、屋内やトンネル
などの換気の悪い場所では運転しないでください。
4. 火傷の恐れがありますので、運転中や停止直後はエンジン本
体やマフラにさわらないでください。
5. 運転中は点火プラグやプラグコードに触れないでください。
感電する場合があります。
6. 点検整備は、必ずエンジンを停止し、冷えるのを待ってから
行なってください。
7. キャブレタやマフラ、燃料タンクなどから燃料漏れが発生し
た場合は、使用を中止し速やかに修理してください。
この説明書は、ゼノアエンジンの取扱に関する
注意事項・操作手順・日常整備要領などをご理解
いただくためのものです。お使いになる前に必ず
お読みの上、末永くご愛用ください。
1. The fuel is flammable. Handle with care at all times.
When refueling, stop the engine and let it cool down
before pouring fuel. Keep open flames and sparks
away from fuel.
2. When fuel is spilled, wipe off immediately and
completely.
3. The exhaust gases contain harmful carbon
monoxide. Never run the engine in a closed room or
in anyplace where ventilation is poor.
4. The engine metal parts can burn your skin. Never
touch the cylinder and muffler during operation or
right after stopping the engine.
5. To prevent electrification, never touch the ignition
plug or the plug wire during operation.
6. Before inspecting or servicing the engine, make sure
to stop the engine and wait until it cools down.
7. When fuel has leaked out of the carburetor, the
muffler, the fuel tank or other part, stop use of the
engine and have it repaired.
This guide explains about the safety precautions,
starting procedures, and regular maintenance on
the Zenoah Engine. To make the most use of it,
please read through this guide before use.

1. 本体側又はエンジン側のスイッチを「運転」を表わす位置に
セットしてください。
2. キャブレタ下部の始動ポンプを、燃料が透明パイプに流れ出
すまで指で数回押してください。
3. チョークを閉じてください。【エンジン停止後間を置かずに再
始動する場合は、チョークを閉じる必要はありません。】
4. 機体を確実に固定し、スタータロープを素早く引いてくださ
い。スタータに無理をかけないよう、ロープは引き切らずに
ノブを持ったまま戻してください。
5. エンジンがかかったらチョークを徐々に開き、しばらく暖機
運転してください。
1. スロットルを戻し、しばらく低速で運転してください。
2. 本体側又はエンジン側のスイッチを「停止」を表わす位置に
セットしてください。
押しボタンスィッチの場合は、エンジンが完全に停止するま
で押し続けてください。
1. Shift switch of the equipment or engine to the RUN or ON
position.
2. Push the priming bulb under the carburetor until fuel appears in
the clear tube.
3. Close the choke. [When restarting the engine right after
stopping, leave the choke open.]
4. While holding the equipment firmly, pull out the starter rope
swiftly. To avoid damage to the starter, return the rope before it
is fully pulled out as keeping hold of the starter knob.
5. When the engine has started, gradually open the choke and
allow the engine to warm up before putting it into service.
1. Return the throttle and cool down the engine.
2. Shift switch of the equipment or engine to the STOP or OFF
position.
In case of push button switch, press on switch until the engine
stops completely.
●燃料タンクへの給油は屋外の平坦な場所で行なってくださ
い。給油時は火気を遠ざけ、タバコは吸わないでください。
●作業の途中で燃料を補給する場合は、給油前に必ずエンジン
を停止してください。
●燃料タンクへの給油量は8分目を目安にしてください。燃料
を入れ過ぎると運転時にタンクキャップから燃料がもれる恐
れがあります。
●給油時にこぼれた燃料はエンジンをかける前によくふき取っ
てください。

●Select a flat ground outdoors for fueling the engine.
Keep open flame away. Do not smoke.
●When refilling the fuel tank on the way of operation,
stop the engine before removing the tank cap.
●Keep 20% of the full tank capacity vacant. Should the
tank be filled up fully, fuel may leak out of the cap
during operation.
●Wipe off spilt fuel completely before starting the engine.

CAUTION
●このエンジンには遠心クラッチが装備されています。エンジ
ン単体での始動は絶対に行なわないでください。クラッチが
破損し、破片で重傷を負う恐れがあります。また、始動時は
本体側の運動部に身体や物を近づけないでください。
●This engine is equipped with a centrifugal clutch. Never
start the engine without the equipment attached in
place, or the clutch parts may be broken and serious
injury may result due to flying debris. When starting the
engine, keep your body and surroundings away from
the movements of the equipment.

整備 MAINTENANCE
調整 ADJUSTMENTS
点検整備時はエンジンを停止してください。
注意 STOP THE ENGINE BEFORE
INSPECTING AND REPAIRING IT.
CAUTION
■ エアフィルタ
エアフィルタが詰まるとエンジンの性能が低下します。定期的
に点検し、必要に応じてフィルタエレメントを洗剤入りの温水で
洗い、完全に乾燥させてから取りつけてください。エレメントが
破れたり収縮した場舎は新品と交換してください。
エレメントが変形・破損したまま運転を続けるとエンジン内部
が異常摩耗します。
■ 燃料キャップ・燃料ストレーナ
運転中に、燃料が切れた時のような現象（回転が変動しエンス
ト）が現れた場合は、燃料キャップの通気孔や燃料ストレーナが
詰っていないか点検してください。
■ 点火プラグ
点火プラグが汚れたり劣化するとエンジンがかかりにくくなっ
たりミスファイヤを起こしたりします。定期的にプラグを掃除し、
電極間隙が適当かどうか点検してください。プラグ交換の際は指
定品または相当品をお使いください。
■ 長期保管時
キャブレタに燃料が残ったまま長期間放置するとエンジン始動
不良の原因になります。保管前に燃料タンクを空にし、キャブレ
タから燃料を抜いてください。
■ スロットルワイヤ
スロットルワイヤの遊びは1〜2mmが適当です。遊びが大き過
ぎたり小さ過ぎる場合は、ロックナットをゆるめてキャブレタ側
ワイヤ受け金貝の位置を修正してください。
■ アイドリング回転数
エンジンのアイドリング回転数が高すぎたり低過ぎる場合は、
キャブレタのアイドル調整スクリュで修正してください。
■ 燃料調整ニードル
燃料調整ニードルは基準開度の許容範囲内にセットしてくださ
い。
■ AIR FILTER
A clogged air filter will reduce the engine performance.
Check periodically and clean the air filter element in warm,
soapy water as required. Dry completely before installing.
When the element is broken or shrunk, replace with a new
one.
Operation with a deformed or broken air filter will give
severe damage to the engine inner parts.
■ FUEL TANK CAP & FUEL STRAINER
When the engine seems to run short of fuel supply, check
the air vent hole of the fuel tank cap and the fuel strainer for
blockage.
■ SPARK PLUG
Starting failure and mis-firing are often caused by a fouled
spark plug. Periodically clean the spark plug and check that
the spark gap is within the correct range. For a replacement
plug, use the specified type or the equivalents.
■ STORAGE
Old fuel left in the carburetor may cause starting failure.
Before storing the unit, empty the fuel tank and drain the
carburetor.
■ THROTTLE WIRE
The normal play of the throttle wire is 1 or 2 mm. When the
play is so large or too small, loosen the lock nut and
reposition the wire receive on the carburetor side.
■ IDLING SPEED
When the engine idling speed is too fast or too slow,
correct it by the idle adjustment screw provided on the
carburetor.
■ FUEL MIXTURE NEEDLE
The fuel mixture needle should be adjusted within the
allowable range of the standard position.

より潤滑されます。正しいオイルとアルコールを含まない自動車
用無鉛ガソリンを、次の割合でよく混ぜ合わせてください。
□ ゼノア純正２サイクルオイル
(FD級使用時)……………50:1
(ガソリン1Lに対しオイル 20ml)
□ ゼノア純正２サイクルオイル
(FC級使用時)……………40:1
(ガソリン1Lに対しオイル 25ml)
This engine is lubricated by oil specially formurated for the
2-stroke air-cooled gasoline engine use.
Prepare correct oil and alcohol-free regular
gasoline(unleaded), and mix in the following ratio.
□WhenusingZENOAHgenuineoil
(FDGRADE)……………50:1
□WhenusingZENOAHgenuineoil
(FCGRADE)……………40:1
●燃料は非常に引火しやすいため取り扱いを誤ると火災
事故の原因となります。燃料の混合時は必ず火気を遠
ざけ、タバコは吸わないでください。
●燃料の混合作業は屋外で行ってください。
●燃料の入った容器をたき火やバーナーなどの近くに放
置しないでください。
危険
4サイクルエンジン用オイルやアルコール含有ガソリン、
水等の異物が混入したり、長期間日光にさらされた燃料
などはお使いにならないでください。エンジン始動不良
などの故障の原因となります。

●Fuel mixing should be performed outdoors.
●Keep the fuel container away from a fire or a stove.
DANGER
Do not use oil for the 4-stroke engine use, alcohol
contained gasoline, fuel contaminated by water or
other foreign materials, or fuel exposed in sunbeam
for a long time. Those can cause engine troubles.
