System: Overview
CoreView 2.7 Videoscope:
•2.7 mm diameter / 800 mm shaft length
•flexible scope sheath (multi-durometer Nylon w/ SS braid)
•2-way articulating scope tip (+/- 100Bup - down)
•62,000 pixel CMOS image
•90 degree HFOV (field of view)
•F4.0 / 3-50 mm DOF (depth of focus)
Video Controller:
•w/ HDMI video output to monitor
•US and international power supplies available
ZC-LED35 Lightsource:
•6000k white light LED illumination
•35 wt. LED w/ brightness attenuation

Step 1- Unpack CoreView 2.7 videoscope and other
components
Step 2- Plug connector from #1 CoreView 2.7
videoscope into #2 Video Controller (align red index
marks on connectors)

Lift from circled area to access lower storage

Step 3- Insert light guide from #1 CoreView 2.7
videoscope into ACMI port on front panel of LED
light source

Brightness

Step 4- Plug in connector from #2 Video Controller
power supply (align index marks on connectors)…leave
Video Controller power switch in “OFF” position

Step 5- Plug in HDMI Cable to back of #2 Video
Controller… connect to HDMI monitor (19” or
smaller monitor recommended)
Step 6- Turn power on to #2 Video Controller, #3 LED
Light Source and HDMI monitor.
Your system is now ready to use.
Adjust #3 LED Light Source intensity per your
application

System: Operation
Step 8- Pull top lever towards you to articulate
scope tip “up” / push away to articulate “down” Usage notes:
•Be sure to straighten the scopes tip before
removing from a restricted passage
•Videoscope articulation controller will hold it’s
position until re-adjusted
•Please be aware that the CoreView 2.7
videoscope has a distal rigid tip length of 8 mm
and a bending section length of 15 mm… do not
force scope tip into inspection area
•Scope shaft has a 30 mm minimum bend radius
•Scope shaft is sealed & wipe-able (wipe with IPA-
avoid contact with any strong solvents acids)

Videoscope Usage Tips
•Do not attempt to force probes or
cables into sharp bends, even if it is a
flexible style scope. Consult a Zibra
Corp representative if you need help.
•Do not drop or place items onto the
instrument as serious damage can
result.
•Contact with acids and strong solvents
should be avoided as serious damage
can result.
Videoscope Cleaning Tips
•Fingerprints and debris on optical
surfaces can seriously degrade borescope
performance…Take care that distal tip
glass and the scope shaft are kept clean.
•Use isopropyl alcohol and a soft, clean
wipe or cotton swab to clean optical
surfaces.
