Thank you for purchasing a ZTechnik product. Read these instructions carefully and thoroughly before beginning work. Dealers,
if installing this windscreen for a customer, please give them this manual. It contains information needed to properly maintain
and use this product.
PREPARATION
The Velcro® Industrial grade fasteners will
securely hold your Quantum Hardcoated
olycarbonate Headlight Cover to the motorcy-
cle’s headlight.
For best performance and adhesion the
Headlight Cover and motorcycle surface
should be a minimum of 65 °F (18 °C)
Cleaning is critical. Be sure to clean the
headlight rim and remove all wax, clean-
ers, and protectants (Armor-All). These can
contaminate the adhesive causing it to fail.

INSTALLATION
1. For ease of installation, it is recommend to
remove the Headlight Rim. (T10Torx) Figure 1
2. Apply 4 pieces of Velcro Loop to Rim.

3. Align the Headlight Cover to Rim. Make 4
marks on the outside of the Guard where the
Hook will match to the Loop. Figure 3 (Grease
Penci )
4. Install Hook at the mark on the inside of the
Guard. ress down to ensure good contact of
adhesive with Guard. Figure 4
Let Velcro Hook and Loop cure for 5 minutes
before installing Headlight Guard.
5. Re-install Rim to motorcycle. (T10 Torx)
6. Install Guard. Align Loop fastener with Hook
and press into place until fully engaged. Wipe
marks from Guard. Figure 5
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To clean the guard, wash with a clean soft
cloth, plenty of warm water and if necessary, a
non-abrasive soap such as dishwashing liquid.
Flannel or soft chamois make good cleaning
cloths. aint, glue residue or tar removal:
Moisten cotton with naphtha or turpentine
fo owed by a wash as above.
Do not clean the guard with abrasive cleaners,
alcohol, or strong solvents. Except as recom-
mended above for paint, glue, or tar removal.
