TheZuvoWaterFiltrationSystemhasaone(1)yearlimited
warrantytotheoriginaluser,tobefreefromdefectin
materialandworkmanship,fromthedateofpurchase.This
unitisdesignedfornon-commercialapplications.Usein
commercialapplicationswillvoidthisproductwarranty.
Supplierliabilityunderthiswarrantyisstrictlylimitedto
repairingorreplacing(atsupplier’soption),withoutcharge,
FOBsupplier’sauthorizedservicefacility,theunitorunits.
BothZuvoWaterandyoursupplierwillnotwillnotbeheld
liableforanycostsofremoval,installation,transportationto
anauthorizedservicecenter,oranyotherchargeswhichmay
ariseinconnectionwithawarranty.BothZuvoWaterand
yoursupplierwillnotbeheldliablefordamageorwearto
productscausedbyabnormaloperatingconditions,accident,
abuse,misuse,unauthorizedalterationorrepair,oriftheunit
wasnotinstalledinaccordancewithprintedinstallationand
operatinginstructions.
This warranty does not cover replacement filters.
Replacementoflampassembliesislimitedtoaperiodof
one(1)yearfromthedateofpurchase.
ZuvoWaterandyoursupplierwillassumenoresponsibility
foranyincidentalorconsequentialdamages,losses,or
expensesarisingfrominstallation,use,oranyothercauses.
Therearenoexpressorimpliedwarranties,including
merchantabilityorfitnessforaparticularpurpose,which
extendbeyondthosewarrantiesdescribedorreferredtoabove.
Somejurisdictionsdonotallowtheexclusionofincidentalor
consequentialdamages,andsomejurisdictionsdonotallow
limitationsonhowlongimpliedwarrantiesmaylast.
Therefore,theabovelimitationsmaynotapplytoyou.This

General Operating Instructions
TheZuvoWaterFiltrationSystemisdesignedwithsmart
technologytoletyouknowwhentoreplaceyourfilter
orflushwaterthroughanewfiltertoensureoptimal
watercleansing.The150Seriesmodelshaveabuilt-in
beeper.
Initial Use
TheZuvoWaterFiltrationSystemmustbepluggedinto
anelectricaloutlettooperate.
NOTE:Donotuseanoutletthatisintendedforagarbage
disposalaspowertothisoutletiscontrolledbyaswitch.
For countertop installations, after you install your
Zuvo Water Filtration System or replace the filter
always allow COLD water to flow through the
system according to the operating instructions
below before drinking or using the water. Never
flush or operate the Zuvo system with hot water.
TheZuvosystemincludesafilterandwillalertyouthat
aninitialfilterflushisneededbybeepingFOURtimes
every30secondsuntiltheZuvofaucetisturnedON.
Foranunder-counterinstallation,turnontheZuvo
BeverageFaucettolightuptheUVlampandinitiate
waterflowthroughtheZuvoWaterFiltrationSystem.
Youshouldobserveanupwardswirlingmotionofwater
andaconstantstreamofbubbleswhenthesystemis
illuminatedandworkingproperly.
Foracountertopinstallation,turnonyourmainfaucet
andopenthevalveonthedivertertolightuptheUV
lampandinitiatewaterflowthroughthesystem.
OnceyouturnthefaucetONandwhilethesystem
isflushing,thesystemwillbeepONEtimeevery10
seconds.WhentheZuvosystemstopsbeepingevery
10seconds,thesystemisreadyandthefaucetcanbe
turned OFF.

TheZuvosystemsensesthespecificmodelfilter

usage,thesystemwillalertyouwhenabouttwoweeks
orapproximately40gallonsoffilterliferemain.Once
thefilterhasreachedcapacitythesystemwillalertyou
tochangethefilter.Thesystemwillnotoperateifthe
sameusedupfilterisremovedfromtheZuvosystem
andre-inserted.

Startup
WhentheZuvoWaterFiltrationSystemisinitially
pluggedinitwillbeepONEtime.
OncetheZuvosystemispluggedinandhasbeeped
ONEtime,thesystemneedstobeflushedwithCOLD
waterpriortodrinkingorusingthewater.Thesystem
willbeepFOURtimesevery30secondsuntiltheZuvo
faucetisturnedONtoremindyouthatthesystem
needstobeflushedpriortouse.WhiletheZuvofaucet
isturnedONduringflushing,thesystemwillbeepONE
timeevery10seconds.OncetheZuvosystemstops
beepingevery10seconds,thesystemisreadyand
thefaucetcanbeturnedOFF.Thesystemisreadyfor
operationandyoucanenjoythebenefitsofhealthy,
great-tastingwater.
Normal Operation
Whenthereismorethantwoweeks(typicaluse)offilter
capacityremaining,theZuvosystemwillbeepONE
timewhenevertheZuvoBeverageFaucetisturnedON.
Less than Two Weeks or Approximately 40 Gallons
of Filter Capacity Remain (Typical Usage)
Oncethereislessthantwoweeksorapproximately40
gallonsoffiltercapacityremain,theZuvosystemwill
beepTWOtimeswhenevertheZuvofaucetisturned
ONasareminderthatthefilterneedstobechanged
soon.
Filter Replacement Needed
Aftertwoweekshavepassedorapproximately40gallons
offiltercapacityremain,theZuvosystemwillbeep
THREEtimeswhenevertheZuvofaucetisturnedONasa
reminderthatthefilterneedstobechangedimmediately.
Unit with New Filter
AfteranewfilterisinstalledintheZuvosystem,itwill
beepFOURtimesevery30secondsuntiltheZuvo
faucetisturnedON.ThisisareminderthattheZuvo
systemneedstobeflushedwithCOLDwaterpriorto
drinkingorusingthewater.Onceyouturnthefaucet
ONandwhilethesystemisflushing,thesystemwill
beepONEtimeevery10seconds.WhentheZuvo
systemstopsbeepingevery10seconds,thesystemis
readyandthefaucetcanbeturnedOFF.
System Trouble Found
Ifsystemtroubleisfound,theZuvosystemwillbeep
FIVEtimesevery30seconds.

How To Replace Filter
WARNING
It is extremely important that the unit be
unplugged. The Zuvo Water Filtration System
contains a high-intensity ultraviolet (UV) light that
can damage tissues in the eye. The UV light cannot
travel through the plastic housing.
However, removing the filter requires that the
top cap be removed, exposing the lamp. Do not
proceed without unplugging the unit!
For the filter to be removed, the filter and all
internal seals must be wet.Donotattempttoremove
adryfilter.DoingsomayresultinbreakageoftheUV
lamp.

How To Replace UV Lamp
Thelampshouldbereplacedwheneveritfailstolight
duringoperation.TheZuvoWaterFiltrationSystemuses
ahigh-intensityozonegeneratingUVbulbmodule
whichcanbeobtainedfromyoursupplier.Forproper
unitoperation,useonlylampmodulessuppliedbyyour
supplier.
Simplyfollowthestepsbelow:
1.Alwaysunplugtheunit
beforeservicing.
Failure to do so can
resultinexposureto
harmfulUVlight.
2.Usingtheplasticscrewdriver,
breakthepaperlabelat
the‘X’andunscrew
thesinglescrew.
3.Carefullyloosenandbegintopulloutthe
 lamp/ballastcordmodule.
4.Pullthemodulestraightoutoftheunit.
5.EnsurethelampandtheprotectiveO-ringare
 completelyoutoftheunit.
6. Carefullyinsertreplacementmodule,ensuringthat
 protectiveO-ringremainsinplace.
7. Positionmoduleandreplacescrew.

Para instalaciones sobre encimeras, después
de instalar el Zuvo Water Filtration System o
reemplazar el filtro de agua siempre permiten agua
FRÍA fluya a través del sistema de acuerdo con el

Cuando el Zuvo Water Filtration System se conecte
por primera vez se emitirá un zumbido UNA vez.
UnavezqueelsistemadeZuvoestáenchufadoyha

emitiráunzumbidoCUATROvecescada30segundos
hastaqueelgrifoZuvoseabrapararecordarleque
elsistemanecesitaserenjuagadoantesdesuuso.
MientrasqueelgrifoZuvoestáactivaduranteel
enjuagueinicial,elsistemasonaráunavezcada10
segundos.UnavezqueelsistemadeZuvoparede
sonarcada10segundos,elsistemaestálistoyelgrifo
sepuedecerrar.

Para reemplazar el filtro
ADVERTENCIA
Es de suma importancia que la unidad se encuentre
desenchufada. Sistema contiene la luz ultravioleta
(UV) de alta intensidad que puede dañar los
tejidos oculares. La luz UV no puede pasar a través
del contenedor de plástico. Sin embargo, para
retirar el filtro es necesario quitar la tapa superior,
exponiendo la lámpara.
¡No continúe sin desenchufar la unidad!
