This machine requires, depending on the model, power supply of 50 Hz, 220 V and 1000 W or 60 Hz,
110 V and 1000 W.

GUIDELINESFORUSE
Adrycottoncandyofauniform,crystal‐freetexture,perfectcolourandflavour,canbebestachievedbyusing
granulatedwhitesugar.Ifusingcolourantsorflavourings,makesurethattheydonotcontainanytypeofgumor
gelatine,aswellasfloursormaltodextrine.
Thesecomponentswillburn,preventingspunsugarfromexitingproperly.Oncepluggedin,switchthemachineon
andletthespinningbowlrunforabout5minutes,whenusingitforthefirsttime(andfor2minutesforfutureuses)
andcheckiftherearenoirregularitiesinfunctioningandthatthespinningbowlrotatescorrectlyathighspeed.
Alwayskeepyourhandsawayfromthespinningbowl.
Now,turntheCONTROLLERuntilitsneedlereaches95V.Letthespinningbowlheat.Themachinerequiresabout4‐5
minutestoheatfromcoldtoperfectworkingtemperature.Thehigherpower,theshortertimeisrequired.
Beforestartingtheproductionofcottoncandy,raisethevoltageto115V.Addwhitegranulatedsugarusingmetal
dispenser.
Withinafewsecondsthemachinewillstarttoproducecontinuoussugarstrands,untilthereisnosugarleftinthe
spinningbowl.Youcanproducemultiple,subsequentcottoncandieswithlittleeffort.Itmayturnoutthatthefirst
onewillnotbeperfect,butthosetofollow,shouldbemuchmoreaccomplished.
Onceyoufinishyourwork,donotswitchoffthemotor,untilmakingsurethatthereisnosugarleftinthespinning
bowl.Decreasethevoltageto50Vandlettheresistorcool,whileawaitinganotherproduction.Youwillthenneedto
increasethevoltageagainto115V,toreachtemperaturesuitableforproduction.
Switchoffthemotor,ifnotexpectingtoproducemorecottoncandies.Donotleavetherotationmotorrunningfor
morethan1consecutivehour.Afteralongperiodofproducingcottoncandy,letitcoolforafewminutes.
COTTONCANDYPRODUCTION
Itisveryimportanttomakesurethattheplaceinwhichyouintendtoworkisfreefromexcessivehumidityandthat
thereisnosourceofhumiditynearby(boilingwater).
1. Attachfirstspunsugartoastick(preferablyasquaresectionstick).
2. Spinthestickinyourfingers,movingyourhandaroundthebowltopickspunsugar,keepingawayfromthe
rotoratalltime.
3. Formintospheres,asuniformaspossible.
4. Maintaininadryplaceuntilserving.

5. Ifyoumakecottoncandiesforalateruse,placethemimmediately(yetwarm)intoahermeticallysealed
container.
DISMANTLINGANDCLEANING
Whenfinishingyourwork,donotswitchoffthemotor,untilmakingsurethatthereisnosugarleftinsidethe
spinningbowl.DecreasethevoltageusingtheCONTROLLERandlettheresistorcool.Whileitisstilllukewarm,add
about30mlofwaterinsidethealuminumspinningbowlandletitrununtilallwaterisremoved,leavingtheresistor
completelydryandclean.Repeatthisaction,untiltheexitingwateriscompletelyclean.
Bringthemachinetoacompletestop,letitcool,removethestainlesssteelbowl,washitanddrywithadelicate
cloth.Wipealltheparts.Trytousewateronlyforcleaningandifpossible,notousedetergents.Thedome
(accessory)mustbecleanedwithadampclothandwater.
PROBLEMSDETECTIONANDSOLVING
Scarceproduction
1. Thepowerisverylow,increasetomaximumandwaitafewminutestoseetheresults.
2. Burnedsugaratthesurfaceofthemotordisturbsproperspinningandasaresult,affectstheproduction.
Cleantheremainingcaramel.
3. Themotordoesnotrotateattheexpectedspeed.Somethingaffectsthespinning.Stopandremoveallthe
lidstoseeifanythingdisturbsmotorspin.
Excessivesteamandliquidsugardrops.
1. Checkifthesugarorthemixyouareworkingwith,doesnotcontainimpurities,flourorgelatine.
2. Checkifyourmachineiscompletelyleveledandisstandingonastablesurface.Excessivevibrationsmay
affectthequalityofthespunsugar.
SPAREPARTS

dependingontheuseofthemachine.Theirreplacementisbasedonlogicandveryeasyandassuch,itdoesnot
