Locate release
button at the
base of the unit
Holding new bottle,
place your thumb in
indentation on cap
and remove. Ensure
the collar remains
on around the tip of
the bottle
Press button
while gently
pulling down
front of unit, do
not drop door
Place new
product in
dispenser
Lift out empty
3M™Avagard™
bottle with
collar attached
and dispose of
thoughtfully

Gently push
bottle back in
the dispenser
until both bottle
and dispenser
'clicks' into place

•Outside surfaces and underneath each dispenser may be cleaned using, warm water with
a mild disinfectant cleaner with a soft cloth (or as per Health Care facility Cleaning policy)
•Dry thoroughly after cleaning
•Deliver product onto wet hand - test hand hygiene dispenser is working well
• Replenish any empty dispenser with hand wash / hand care product - refer to rell Guide
overleaf
• Make sure water/ product spills are mopped up on a regular basis - sinks / oors
•Report any breakages to your Supervisor
• Make sure you have clean hands when you nish
