First, turn on dash cam’s Wi-Fi hotspot. When the dash cam is turned on, press the
power button to turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot. When the dash cam is connected to your
phone, you can enable the “Wi-Fi always on”option in dash cam’s settings. After that,
the Wi-Fi automatically turns on every time the dash cam is turned on.
Next, add the dash cam in the 70mai app. Before binding, make sure you’ve installed
the latest version of the 70mai app and your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on.
•Open the 70mai app and log in your 70mai account. In the app home page, tap
(+) icon.
•Tap the correct dash cam image (dash cam without screen).
•Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the dash cam’s Wi-Fi. In your
phone’s WLAN list, find the hotspot name and input the password (see
“Download 70mai app” section for hotspot name and password).
•Complete the authorization following the prompt. When successfully added, the
dash cam homepage displays on the screen.
•Exit the dash cam homepage and then you will find the dash cam card on the app
homepage.
If you couldn’t establish the connection with the dash cam’s Wi-Fi hotspot, check the
followings:
•Make sure you enter the correct password when connecting the Wi-Fi.
•Make sure you’ve completed the authorization following the prompt.
•If the above operation still cannot make a successful connection, please forget
the dash cam’s Wi-Fi hotspot in your phone’s WLAN list and try again.
To unbind the dash cam, open the 70mai app, tap the “More” icon on the dash cam card,
and select “Unbind device”.
