Product Features
●High Quality Video image: FULL HD 1080p 30 fps, provides crystal clear images
without missing any details.
●Recommended to use 720p/60fps when driving in high speed, to get smoother

●Circulating Recording function, the recording footage can be set, either 3 or 5

Notes
Usage
1. Please use Class6 or upper Micro SD card to avoid the lag of image.
2. To set up the device, please stop recording by pressing the Menu button to
enter set up menu.
3. Please use Abee V31 original car charger and accessories.
4. In vehicles where power to the cigarette lighter remains on after the engine
has been turned off, please remove the cigarette lighter plug to avoid
draining your car battery or other accidents.
5. After the car engine has stopped, the power supply been cut off, or any
event that interrupts the power supply occurs, a spare battery allows
continued recording to the memory card. Do not remove the Micro SD
memory card or the file may be damaged.
6. Do not expose your product to direct sunlight.
7. Do not connect car transformer to car battery power directly (this
installation is not in covered under the product warranty).
8. When continuously using the device for a long period of time, the device
might slightly heat up. This is very common, do not worried.
9. Do not disassemble or modify your product. Consult your dealer or our
customer service center in case of having problem with product.
10. Do not drop or subject the product to blows or force. Do not press hard on
the LCD screen. This may damage it or cause it to malfunction.
11. In general recording mode, press the record button to enter emergency
recording mode, on the upper right corner of the screen will immediately
show "!Emergency" message, this means the file is protected. The file will
not be deleted from loop recording. 4G memory card can save up to 5

emergency video files, 8G memory card (or above) can save up to 10
emergency video files.
12. Do not expose your product in moisture, please keep your hand dry
when operate the device.
13. Do not clean the product with cleaners containing strong acid or alkaline.
14. Before using your device, please read the user's manual carefully.
Micro SD memory card
1. Please use Micro SDHC memory cards, class 6 or upper. 4G or more of
memory space is recommended, Support up to 32G.
2. Please format the memory card with A7 before using it.
3. Please don’t insert or remove the Micro SD card when the device is still on,
to avoid the card damage.

Hardware Installation Guideline
Installation
1. Connect the device with the bracket by inserting the screw hole on top
of your device in the screw of the bracket; turn the screw knob in
clockwise direction until it firm.
2. Place your Driving Recorder in the proper
position, stick the suction plate to the
windshield, and press the plate button to
secure the stand.
3. After install the bracket, release the adjust
knob below the suction plate to adjust the
shooting angle.
4. After finishing adjust shooting angle, turn the
adjust know until it firm to lock the position of
the device.
5. Insert Micro SD card in to Micro SD card socket.
6. Insert car charger it to cigar socket and connect
to V31.

Disassembly
1. To disassembly the device from the bracket: Hold the bracket firmly and
turn the device in clockwise direction.
2. To remove the bracket: pull up the suction plate button and remove the
bracket from the windshield.
Installation recommendations
1. Install your product as close as possible to the rear view mirror in your car
to get the best view. (as in picture)
2. The lens should be in the area that windshield can be cleaned by your
wipers to get good images on a rainy day.
3. Do not install your product in a place that may interfere with operation of
the air bags in your car.
4. Do not place your product in a position that may be blocked by the heat
insulation.
5. Clean the bracket suction plate before installation.
Warning
Do not install Abee products over an air bag cover or within the air bag
deployment zone. The company assumes no responsibility of liability for injury
or death as a result of car crashes and/or air bag deployment.

Operational Guideline
Turn on/ Turn off
1. Turn on:
when there is no external power, press ON/OFF key and hold for
1 second to turn on the device
2. Turn off:
when the device is power on, press ON/OFF key and hold for 1
second to turn off the device.
3. Auto turn on and off:
※When the car charger is powered by the cigarette lighter socket,
your device will automatically turns on when the engine is started.
※When the car charger is powered by the cigarette lighter socket,
your device will automatically turns off when the engine is stop.
※If your device is powered by the cigarette lighter socket, it will
automatically turn off if the external power is removed (by unplugging
the USB car charger cable).
※in case the device is still powered by car cigarette charger while the
engine is off; in this case the auto power on-off function is not
supported.
Recording
1. General recording:
Under general mode, press key to choose REC, to start
recording mode.
2. Auto Recording:
In the auto recording mode, the device will turns on and enters the
recording mode automatically when the power is connected.
3. Stop Recording:
Under recording mode, press key to choose STOP, to stop
recording.
4. Stop recording after power off:
Under the recording mod, when turns the power off, the device will
stops recording, automatically saves the file and turns off.

Emergency recording
1. Under the recording mode, press key to enter the emergency
recording mode, on the upper right corner of the screen will
immediately show「Emergency Recording」Message. The file will not
be deleted from loop recording, press key to stop recording.
2. With the collision detection on: when the collision occurs, the device
will automatically trigger the emergency recording mode to protect
the file.
3. 4G memory card can save up to 5 emergency video files, 8G memory
card (or above) can save up to 10 emergency video files.
4. When the emergency recording file is full, under the recording mode
press to enter emergency recording mode, it will show the
message “emergency file is full” and the oldest emergency file will be
overwritten.
Take a picture
Under general mode, press key to take a picture. After take a
picture it will return to general mode.
Video playback
1. Video preview:
Under general mode, press key to choose play, to enter the
video playback menu, use up & down key to choose the
video and press to choose OK, to play the video, press key
to choose Exit ,to return to the playlist.
2. Capture the screen while playing:
While the video is playing, press (Snap) to capture the video
screen.

Menu function
In general mode, press the key to choose Menu, to enter the menu
screen.
1. File play
In the menu screen, choose File play. And use to
choose type of Video, Emergency or Picture, and press key to
confirm. After choosing the type of video you will see the video
playlist, use key to choose the video, press key to
choose OK to playback, press key to choose Exit to return to the
playlist
2. Date/Time setting: to set up the current time
In the menu screen: Select Date/Time in the menu screen. Use
key to set up the date and time then press key to choose
OK. After setup has been completed it will automatically return to the
previous screen.
3. Time Stamp: to set up whether you want the recording date and time
on video
In the menu screen, select Time Stamp, then select On or Off.
4. Resolution: to adjust the resolution of video
In the menu screen, then select Resolution, select 1080P/30fps,
720P/60fps or 720P/30fps
5. LCD Setting: to set up whether to turn on the screen while recording
In the menu screen, select LCD Setting, then select On, Turn Off After
30 sec., Turn Off After 3 min. and Off.
6. Voice Record: to set up whether to record sound in to video
In the menu screen, select Voice Record, then select On or Off.
7. Sound Control: to set up whether to turn on the keypad tone.

In the menu screen, select Sound Control, then select On or Off.
8. Automatic Record: to set up auto turn-on and record when engine is
started.
In the menu screen, select Automatic Record, then select On or Off.
9. Record Interval: to set up the record interval
In menu screen, select Record Interval, then select 3 mins or 5 mins.
10. Motion Detection: the device will start record 5-10 before motion is
detected until the motion is stop.
In menu screen, select Motion Detection, then select On or Off.
11. Collision Detection: in recording mode, when accident or impact
occurs the device will automatically record with emergency record
function. The sensitivity of collision can be set.
In menu screen, select Collision Detection, then select High
Sensitivity, Medium Sensitivity, Low Sensitivity, or Off.
12. Delay Shutdown: the device will still keep recording for a short footage
before shutdown.
In menu screen, select Delay Shutdown, then select 10 sec., or Off.
13. Language: to set up the language for operational interface.
In menu screen, select Language, then select Traditional Chinese,
Simplify Chinese or English.
14. File Deleting: to delete the existing file.
In the menu screen, select File Deleting, use to select
the video type, Video, Emergency, or Picture and press to
confirm. After select the video type you will see the videos list, use
to select the video that you want to delete, and then
press to choose OK. After confirm you can choose either to
Delete One or Delete All, press again to confirm, press

key to return to the previous page.
15. Format: Format memory card (Micro SD).
In the menu screen, select Format, select Yes or No, select Yes to
format your memory card. Please backup important data before
formatting your card.
16. Default: Reset all the setting to factory default.
in the menu screen, select Default, select Yes or No, select Yes to
reset all the setting to the factory defaults.
Memory card (Micro SD) PC connection instruction
1. With a USB cable connection
V31 can be connected to a PC via USB cable. When connected, the
PC will detect a removable device. Open Windows Explorer to
browse files in the V31 memory card.
2. With a card reader
Remove the memory card after turning off the device. Insert the
memory card in a PC card reader. Your PC will detect a removable
device. Open Windows Explorer to browse the files on the V31
memory card.
3. Memory card (Micro SD)
The contents of the memory card file is divided into two main folders,
"MISC" and the "DCIM". In the "DCIM" folder will
contain"100MEDIA" folder for a loop video files and photo files, and
“EMER "folder for emergency video files. You can duplicate the file in
SD card to your personal computer.
