Introduction
The EX-G066B Mini HDMI to 3G/HD/SD-SDI Converter provides a professional way to convert
HDMI to 3G/HD/SD-SDI in real time. The conversion between SDI and HDMI is pure digital and
guarantees no loss transformation for both audio and video. Plus, with up to 8 channels audio support,
7.1 channel or 5.1 channel audio becomes available. The EX-G066B offers low jitter SDI output for
daisy chain. With the use of EX-G066B, the most popular uncompressed video interface in the
consumer world is readily available for professional SDI equipments!

Notice
1. EX-G066B mainly embeds the audio channels in audio group 1&2 or 3&4. Please adjust DIP
switch pin 2 for setup.
2. EX-G066B supports only audio sample frequency 48kHz.
3. While stereo audio is chosen, only the first pair of HDMI audio will placed into CH 1 & 2 of Group 1
or 3, dependent upon pin 3.
4. In order to keep the compatibility of HDMI to most monitors, EX-G066B features EDID learning
ability. The operation is shown in the EDID learning section.
EDID Learning
1. Turn off EX-G066B and set the pin 1 of DIP switch of EX-G066B to ON [ª].
2. Connect the TV monitor thru HDMI port to EX-G066B, and then turn on EX-G066B.
3. The LED of EX-G066B will dim and light again, which indicates the EDID learning process is
finished.
4. Connect EX-G066B to the HDMI source through a HDMI cable and enjoy the experience.

The SELLER warrants the EX-G066B HDMI to 3G/HD/SD-SDI Mini Converter to be free from
defects in the material and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase from the SELLER or an
authorized dealer. Should this product fail to be in good working order within 1 year warranty period,
The SELLER, at its option, repair or replace the unit, provided that the unit has not been subjected to
accident, disaster, abuse or any unauthorized modifications including static discharge and power
surge. This warranty is offered by the SELLER for its BUYER with direct transaction only. This
warranty is void if the warranty seal on the metal housing is broken.
Unit that fails under conditions other than those covered will be repaired at the current price of
parts and labor in effect at the time of repair. Such repairs are warranted for 90 days from the day of
reshipment to the BUYER. If the unit is delivered by mail, customers agree to insure the unit or
assume the risk of loss or damage in transit. Under no circumstances will a unit be accepted without a
return authorization number.
The warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including without limitations,
any other implied warranty or fitness or merchantability for any particular purpose, all of which are
expressly disclaimed.
Proof of sale may be required in order to claim warranty. Customers outside Taiwan are
responsible for shipping charges to and from the SELLER. Cables and power adapters are limited to a
30 day warranty and must be free from any markings, scratches, and neatly coiled.
