1. Product Overview
1.1 Product Introduction
The ICR-4461 is an Ultra-high-speed 5G NR (New Radio) Router and Powerful Edge
Computing Gateway focused on the global market, including the NAM region.
Thanks to its ultra high-speed data transfer capabilities, offering up to 3.4 Gbps for down-
loads and 900 Mbps for uploads, this router is an ideal solution for demanding IoT appli-
cations, including industrial routers and gateways, digital signage, industrial computers, and
tablets, among others.
For optimal performance on the cellular network, the router utilizes 4x4 MIMO technology.
Two antennas for GNSS can be connected to the router using shared SMA connectors with
the cellular antennas.
The router is housed in a robust metal enclosure and features five 1Gb Ethernet ports,
one SFP cage, and interfaces for RS232,RS485, and CAN bus. It also includes two binary
inputs and two binary outputs.
To ensure cellular connection redundancy, the router provides two SIM card readers on
the rear side, conveniently located under the SIM cover. Additionally, there is a slot for a
microSD card under this cover. Select router models can be equipped with a WiFi module
featuring 3x3 MIMO antennas.
Configuration of the router can be performed through a password-protected web interface,
which provides detailed statistics about the router’s activities, signal strength, and a com-
prehensive system log. The router offers support for VPN tunnels using various protocols
including IPSec,OpenVPN,GRE,L2TP, or PPTP, ensuring secure communication.
Other supported features include IPv6 Dual Stack,DHCP,NAT,NAT-T,DynDNS,DNS
proxy,VLAN,QoS,NTP,VRRP, control via SMS, port forwarding, primary connection
backup, and many more.
The router provides diagnostic functions including automatic monitoring of the PPP con-
nection, automatic restart in case of connection losses, Low Power Mode, and a hardware
watchdog that monitors the router’s status.
Users can insert Linux scripts that are triggered by various actions. It’s possible to cre-
ate up to four different configurations for the same router, and these configurations can be
switched when needed through the web interface, SMS, or binary input status.
The router can automatically upgrade its configuration and firmware from your central
server. Support is also provided for the WebAccess/DMP and WebAccess/VPN remote device
management platforms.
