Overview
The EKI-2528I-M12 unmanaged switches are
designed for application in harsh environments. First
of all, the switches provide 8 Fast Ethernet ports with
M12 D-coded connectors which can connect the
cables tightly against vibration and shock. Second,
the switches support 10/100 Mbps, auto MDI/MDI X,
broadcast storm protection. Third, when supporting
wide power input ranging from 12 to 48V with
Polarity Reverse Protection and Overload Current
Resettable Fuse, the EKI-2528I-M12 switches are
robust and economical solutions for your network.
Finally, as the switches are IP67-rated and is
compliant with IEC 61131-2:2017, they are suitable
for PLC application and their associated peripherals.

 1 x Bag of Screws for DIN-rail and Grounding
 1 x DIN-rail Mounting Kit

Overview

Power Connection
EKI-2528I-M12 switch supports 12 ~ 48 VDC power
input using 4-pin male M12 A-code connector.
STEP 1: Insert a corresponding power cord on the power
connector to connect EKI-2528I-M12.
STEP 2: Screw the nut on the power cord connector to
ensure a tight connection between power cord and
EKI-2528I-M12.
The switches must be powered by using UL61010 or
UL61010-2-201 listed power source, rated 12-48Vdc,
1.5 minimum and Tma 75 degree C.
Suggestion: Suitable for field wiring. Female Connector, 4
wire, Plug straight M12, A-coded, Push-in connection,
tighten torque 1.5 Nm, UL 2238 Listed cable (UL CYJV

Mounting
DIN-rail Mounting
STEP 1: Install the DIN-Rail Mounting Kit.
DIN-Rail Screw Size: M3x6L
STEP 2: Install the Switch.
STEP 3: Remove the Switch.
Wall Mounting
STEP 1: Prepare the 4 screw holes on the wall according to the
switch. Screw hole size: 5.0mm
STEP 2: Screw in the 4 screws through the screw holes on the
switch to the wall.
