Dear Customer
Please read these operating instructions care ully. Pay attention above all to the sa ety
in ormation! Please keep the operating instructions or uture re erence. Pass them on to any
uture owner o the appliance.
Safety information
Power supply: AC only 220/230 V, use 16 A or 10 A slow-acting.
Do not put the unit into service i :
the connecting lead is damaged,
the unit is visibly damaged.
Use only in the home or cleaning dry material.
People and animals must not be treated with the unit.
Keep children away rom electrical appliances.
Do not vacuum:
Liquids. Allow damp cleaned itted carpet to dry out completely.
Matchsticks, glowing ash or cigarette ends.
Hard, pointed objects.
N.b.: Large quantities o ine dust (e.g. lime, drilling dust, sawdust, toner dust rom laser
printers/photocopiers, etc.).
Never pull the mains plug rom the socket with the cord. Do not run over the mains cable
with the unit and suction brush.
Do not clean unit with water (except filters and dust collector as per the instructions).
Do not expose the unit to the e ects o weather, moisture or sources o heat.
Dust collector or a paper dust bag and all ilters must always be itted. If no dust collector
or paper dust bag is fitted, the dust-collector compartment cover cannot be closed.
Please do not use force!
Repairs to electrical appliances must be carried out by quali ied service engineers.
Improperly per ormed repairs can result in considerable danger or the user.
I the power cable is de ective the entire cable roller must be exchanged by the AEG
customer service or an authorized workshop.
The manu acturer accepts no liability or any damage caused by improper use or incorrect
operation.
In the event o a ault please contact your specialist dealer or the AEG customer service
directly.
This vacuum cleaner complies with the following EU Directives
