Most wood parts of this kit are laser-cut and numbered. The included stripwood can be identified
using the parts list at the end of this manual. Use a sharp modeller´s knife to remove parts from
laser-cut sheets. Use sandpaper to remove residue resulting from the laser-cutting process as well
as retaining tabs to achieve a good surface for gluing.
Always check that parts fit perfectly and correct, if necessary, before you glue. Give glue sufficient
time to dry or cure, before your proceed to the next step.
Construction should be according to the step-by-step instructions provided in this manual.
Remove only those parts from the laser sheets which are required for the current building step.
We recommend white glue (if not otherwise noted) for gluing, which offers good strength and
low weight. White glue retains a certain degree of elasticity after the glue has cured and will stand
up to any loads which occur during flying.

Bring fuselage in a vertical position and glue motor mount in place.
Make sure installation tool S7 is positioned correctly on the fuselage as
shown.
Please note that there is a small gap between motor mount R2 and the
fuselage. This is necessary for the motor mount to be positioned
correctly.
Tack-glue the motor mount in place with four drops of epoxy applied
through the openings in S7.
Do not apply glue to completely glue the motor mount
in place!

To complete the next building step you will need the collet prop adapter which is available as an accessory.
Make sure the prop adapter fits the prop shaft of your motor (for Order-No. see page 2).
Remove installing tool S7 when epoxy glue has cured. Assemble the collet adapter with prop hub yoke and
temporarily install the motor into the fuselage. Install collet adapter on motor shaft and tighten nut with
your fingers.
Install spinner R5 onto prop adapter using two washers R7 for correct spacing, insert and tighten screw R6. Check spinner for correct
position in relation to fuselage. Correct, if necessary.
When spinner position is correct, disassemble/remove installed parts and glue motor mount in place with epoxy resin mixed with cotton
flocks or chopped glass fibre strands. Leave to cure.

Fuselage
Install motor mount R2 using screw S6, spacers S5, installation tool
S7 and nut S8.
Slide motor mount R2 and spacers S5 onto screw S6 and install in
fuselage through cockpit opening.
From the outside slide installation tool S7 and nut S8 onto screw.
Then tighten nut with your fingers.
To use electric power in your Triple Neo the nose of the fuselage
needs to be cut off with the help of a template. For the glider version
skip building steps 1-6.
Glue together fuselage template from parts S1-S4. Leave to dry.
Slide fuselage R0 into template as shown. Please note that there is a
small bump on the underside of the fuselage which fits into template
exactly.
Run a sharp knife around the fuselage as shown to mark the cut-off
line.
Remove the template and cut off the nose with a razor saw. For best
results rotate the fuselage while you saw.

Glue in place brass tube R9 together with former R8 in
fuselage. Trial-fit R8 before you glue and - if necessary -
correct contour of former to fit fuselage.
Fit and glue in place four magnets R23.
Attention: Make sure you check polarity of magnets if you
have already built a set of wings for your Triple.
Use epoxy glue mixed with cotton flocks for gluing.
Glue in place servo tray R10. Please note that
front end of tray is flush with opening in
fuselage (see graphics). To get correct vertical
position of tray, temporarily install servos, mark
position of tray in fuselage and remove servos
before you glue.

slide templates S9 onto R11/R12.
Insert fuselage tube R13 into fuselage and rear former. Place end of tube in template S10 as shown to find correct position for tube.
Do not glue tube to fuselage at this stage!

opening in former R8. Then glue plywood ring R14 to tube and former.
The tube will automatically be aligned in a perfectly horizontal position by
using the templates. Leave to cure.

Slightly sand inner surface of canopy R16 and fuselage cover R19. Glue in place piano wires R17 and R20
with epoxy resin; reinforce with fabric R18. Leave to cure.
To place canopy and cover on fuselage, insert piano wire in
opening, slide forward, insert rear end of wire in opening and slide
canopy/cover in correct position on fuselage.
Paint canopy as desired.
Glue together balsa parts R21 and plywood parts R22 to form the tailplane support.
Wrap 180 grit sandpaper around the carbon
fuselage tube R13 and sand tailplane support to fit
carbon tube.
Note that edges of plywood parts must
not be sanded down. See enlarged
graphics for correct result. This will
guarantee a perfect fit on the fuselage
tube.
Work carefully and glue support to
fuselage tube with epoxy. Make sure it
is absolutely straight and horizontal.

parts will not stick to the surface of the building board.
Remove required parts from laser sheets and glue in place as shown.

Tail Unit
Use 1-mm-balsa to sheet the tail unit. Glue laser-cut sheeting material to either side of structure and weigh down evenly to
avoid warping. When completey dry, round off edges with the exception of those where the elevator will be attached later
on.

Glue tail skid R24 into carbon tube with epoxy. A slot in template S10 will
accommodate the skid.
Make sure there is room for the bowden cables in the tube on
either side of the tail skid.
Glue the fin to the tailplane and let dry. Then use epoxy to glue complete
assembly to the tailplane support, placing the tailplane horizontally onto
template S10.
Make sure the fuselage is correctly seated in templates
S9 + S10 on an even and horizontal surface.

Glue the fin to the tailplane and let dry. Then use epoxy to glue complete

Fit ribs TS-09 to TS-25 in place in numerical order. Root rib TS-08 will be fitted at a later
stage. Make sure you position ribs exactly at right angles in relation to spar, then glue in
place. Note, that ribs are glued to spruce spar, main spar, trailing edge sheeting and aileron
sheeting. Do not apply glue to front part of ribs between wing spar and leading edge
position.

Cut to length upper spruce spar TS-02 (2 x 8 mm) and glue to ribs and main spar. Use suitable weigths to hold spar in place and leave to dry.
Glue in place aileron spar TS-28, aileron leading edge TS-29 as well as gussets TS-30 and TS-31. Insert servo tray TS-32
between ribs TS-16 and TS-17, flush with underside of ribs and against wing spar. Do not glue!
Glue end stop TS-32.1 to both ribs and glue reinforcement TS-32.2 in place on aileron.

Slightly bevel the last 3 mm of trailing edge and aileron
sheeting to establish a good contact surface for gluing.
Then glue in place top sheeting.
Tip: Glue rear edge of sheeting with epoxy to get a
strong trailing edge which can be sanded down to fine
profile.

Glue together servo frames TS-32.3 and TS-32.4 as shown, and glue to spar
and ribs. Make sure that hole for servo lead is not obstructed.
Attention: Do not glue frame to servo tray TS-32! TS-32 is

Cut to length upper spruce spar TS-02 (2 x 8 mm) and glue to ribs and main spar. Use suitable weigths to hold spar in place and leave to dry.
Glue in place aileron spar TS-28, aileron leading edge TS-29 as well as gussets TS-30 and TS-31. Insert servo tray TS-32
between ribs TS-16 and TS-17, flush with underside of ribs and against wing spar. Do not glue!
Glue end stop TS-32.1 to both ribs and glue reinforcement TS-32.2 in place on aileron.

sheeting to establish a good contact surface for gluing.

Use a razor saw to cut out the aileron and carefully sand sheeting material flush with riblets on either side. Glue TS-39 to front of
aileron and bevel off to allow for sufficient control throw. After covering attach aileron to wing with tape.
Tip: If you do not want to use tape, you can bevel off top and bottom of TS-39 and use small hinges to attach the aileron to the wing.

For the next building steps place the wing panel in the Depron building jig as shown to
guarantee correct alignment of parts.
Place Depron jig on building board and secure with tape or pins. Then place the components
you have just built as well as trailong edge sheeting TR-05 in the jig as shown.
