Über diese Betriebsanleitung:
Diese Betriebsanleitung beschreibt den Funk-Stellantrieb AVD 30 (im
Folgenden auch „Produkt“). Diese Betriebsanleitung ist Teil des Produkts.
Sicherheitshinweise
•Das Produkt darf nur von qualifizierten Fachkräften geöffnet, repariert
oder gewartet werden.
•Das Produkt darf nur in trockenen Innenräumen betrieben werden.
•Das Produkt darf nicht mit Flüssigkeiten in Kontakt kommen.
•Das Produkt darf im Betrieb nicht durch Gegenstände, Gardinen,
Vorhänge oder ähnliches abgedeckt sein und es muss für
ausreichende Belüftung gesorgt werden.
•Das Produkt darf keinen schweren mechanischen Belastungen,
extremen Temperaturen und keinen starken Vibrationen ausgesetzt
werden.
•Ein beschädigtes Produkt darf nicht mehr verwendet werden.
Funktionsweise
Das Produkt gewinnt die elektrische Energie für den Betrieb aus der
Temperaturdifferenz zwischen dem Heizungswasser und der Raumluft.
Durch den internen Energiespeicher wird genügend Energie für die
Übergangs- und Sommerzeit bereitgestellt.
Einsatzbereich
Das Produkt wurde für folgende Räume entwickelt:
•Private Wohnräume
•Gewerblich genutzte Räume
In selten geheizten Räumen kann ein Nachladen während des Betriebs
erforderlich sein. Das Produkt meldet den Energiebedarf über die
Funkkommunikation.
Montage
Das Produkt kann an Heizkörperventile montiert werden, die über ein M30
x 1,5 Gewinde verfügen. Für die Montage an Ventilen mit anderen
Befestigungsmöglichkeiten sind Metall-Adapter im Internet oder im
Fachhandel erhältlich.

Auslieferungszustand
Bei der Auslieferung ist der der Pin vollständig eingefahren. Wenn der Pin
nicht eingefahren ist, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Stecken Sie einen dünnen Stift in die Tasteröffnung (1) und drücken
Sie den Taster für 3 bis 6 Sekunden.

Montage und Inbetriebnahme
1. Entfernen Sie den vorhandenen Drehknauf vom Heizkörper.
2. Montieren Sie das Produkt.
3. Stellen Sie das AFRISOhome Gateway auf den Einlernmodus.
4. Drücken Sie mit einem dünnen Stift einmal kurz den Taster am
Produkt.
- Das AFRISOhome Gateway meldet das erfolgreiche Einlernen mit
„Sensor ist eingelernt“.
- Das Produkt stellt sich automatisch auf das Heizkörperventil ein
und kann danach die Temperatur auf die über das AFRISOhome
Gateway vorgegebene Solltemperatur regeln.

Betrieb
Das Produkt kommuniziert alle 10 Minuten mit dem AFRISOhome Gateway
und fragt dabei die die Solltemperatur ab:
•Das Produkt regelt die Zimmertemperatur auf die über das
AFRISOhome Gateway vorgegebene Solltemperatur.
Wenn eine über das AFRISOhome Gateway geänderte Solltemperatur
sofort übernommen werden soll und nicht erst nach Ablauf des
Kommunikationsintervalls von 10 Minuten, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Drücken Sie einmal kurz den Taster am Produkt.

Gateway:
Das Produkt regelt auf die letzte übertragene Soll-
Temperatur.
Zu wenig Energie:
Wenn der Energiespeicher leer ist, öffnet das Produkt
das Heizkörperventil auf 50 % und wechselt in den
Ruhezustand.
Sobald genügend warmes Heizwasser fließt, regelt das
Produkt die Heizung wieder. Der Energiespeicher des
Produkts kann bei Bedarf zusätzlich über den Mikro-
USB-Anschluss geladen werden.
Verkalkung:
Um Verkalkung vorzubeugen, öffnet und schließt das
Produkt das Heizkörperventil regelmäßig in Abständen
von 3 Wochen.
Frostschutz:
Bei zu niedrigen Temperaturen regelt das Produkt
automatisch die Temperatur auf einen Wert oberhalb
des Gefrierpunkts.
Reset
Um einen Reset auszulösen, drücken Sie den Taster am Produkt und
halten ihn so lange gedrückt, bis die rote LED aufleuchtet und wieder
erlischt.

Demontage
Wenn das Produkt vom Heizkörper demontiert werden soll, gehen Sie wie
folgt vor:
1. Drücken Sie den Taster 1 x für 3 bis 6 Sekunden.
- Der PIN wechselt in die Montageposition.
2. Demontieren Sie das Produkt innerhalb von 10 Minuten.
- Wenn das Produkt an einem AFRISOhome Gateway eingelernt
war, wechselt das Produkt innerhalb von 10 Minuten von der
Montageposition wieder in den Betriebszustand.

About these operating instructions:
These operating instructions describe the wireless actuator AVD 30 (also
referred to as "product" in these operating instructions). These operating
instructions are part of the product.
Safety information
•The product may only be opened, repaired or maintained by qualified
persons.
•The product may only be used indoors in dry rooms.
•The product must not be subjected to liquids.
•During operation, the product must not be covered by objects, curtains,
drapes or similar and sufficient ventilation must be ensured.
•The product must not be subjected to heavy mechanical loads, no
extreme temperatures and no heavy vibration.
•Damages products may no longer be used.
Function principle
The product generates the electrical energy for operation from the
temperature difference between the heating circuit water and the ambient
air. The internal energy storage module provides enough energy for the
summer period and the transition periods.
Application area
The product is designed for the following and rooms:
•Private residential rooms
•Commercially used rooms
Recharging during operation may be necessary in infrequently heated
rooms. The product signals the energy requirement via radio
communication.
Mounting
The product can be mounted to radiator valves equipped with an M30 x 1.5
thread. Metal adapters are available via the internet or specialised shops
for mounting to valves with other fastening possibilities.

Condition as delivered
When the product is delivered, the pin is fully moved in. If the pin is not fully
moved in, proceed in the following manner:
Plug a thin pen into the hole of the pushbutton (1) and press the
pushbutton for 3 to 6 seconds.

Mounting and commissioning
1. Remove the existing rotary knob valve from the radiator.
2. Mount the product.
3. Set the AFRISOhome gateway to teach-in mode.
4. Briefly press the pushbutton at the product using a thin pen.
- The AFRISOhome gateway confirms successful teaching in with
"Sensor taught in".
- The product automatically adjusts to the radiator valve and can
then control the room temperature to the reference temperature set
via the AFRISOhome gateway.

Operation
The product communicates with the AFRISOhome gateway every 10
minutes to query the reference temperature:
•The product controls the room temperature to the reference
temperature set via the AFRISOhome gateway.
If the reference temperature has been changed via the AFRISOhome
gateway and you want the new reference temperature to become active
immediately, i.e. not after the communication interval of 10 minutes,
proceed in the following manner:
Briefly press the pushbutton of the product once.
Status LED
The status LED flashes in the case of the following functions:

The product controls to the last reference temperature
transmitted.
No enough energy:
If the energy storage module is empty, the product
opens the radiator valve to 50 % and switches to idle
state.
As soon as enough hot heating water flows, the product
controls the heating again. The energy storage module
of the product can also be charged via the micro USB
connection.
Scaling:
In order to avoid scaling, the the product regularly
opens and closes the radiator valve at intervals of 3
weeks.
Frost protection:
If the temperature is too low, the product automatically
sets the temperature to a value above the freezing
point.
Reset
In order to trigger a reset, press the pushbutton at the product and hold it
down until the red LED lights up and goes out again.

Dismounting
If the product is to be dismounted from the radiator, proceed in the
following manner:
1. Press the pushbutton once for 3 to 6 seconds.
- The PIN switches to the mounting position.
2. Dismount the product within 10 minutes.
- If the product was taught in to an AFRISOhome gateway, the
product switches back from the mounting position to regular
operation within 10 minutes.
