Bedienungsanleitung Battery Booster 1900
MERKMALE
• 1900 Ampere Spitzenleistung, 38A/H (2 x 19A/H) versiegelte AGM-Akkus
• 120 cm lange 100% Kupferleitungen.
• geeignet zum Starten von 8-Zylinder-Benzinmotoren bis 5 Liter und 4-Zylinder-Dieselmotoren
bis 3,5 Liter Hubraum, ohne dass ein Begleitfahrzeug benötigt wird - NUR 12 Volt Systeme.

Dieser Booster ist als kompaktes, langlebiges und tragbares Notstartsystem für Fahrzeuge mit
12V-Bordnetz konzipiert. Dieses in sich geschlossene System ist in der Lage, Fahrzeuge mit
schwachen oder leeren Batterien sicher zu starten, ohne dass ein weiteres Fahrzeug oder eine
240V-Stromversorgung benötigt wird. Dieses Gerät kann auch als sichere, tragbare 12V Gleich-
stromquelle in abgelegenen Gebieten oder in Notfällen eingesetzt werden.

BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG:
Starthilfe
1.Stellen Sie sicher, dass sowohl die Zündung des zu startenden Fahrzeugs als auch der Start-
hauptschalter ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie die Batterie anschließen.
2.Verbinden Sie die ROTE (+) Klemme des Boosters mit dem ROTEN (+) Pluspol der Batterie
des Fahrzeugs.
3.Verbinden Sie die SCHWARZE (-) Krokodilklemme des Boosters mit einem unbeweglichen
Metallteil des Motors oder Chassis (Kein Anschluss an Kraftstofeitungen).
4.Schalten Sie den Booster mit dem Hauptschalter ein. Achten Sie auf ein akustisches Signal.
Ein Dauerton signalisiert eine Verpolung, während bei niedriger Batteriespannung alle 25
Sekunden ein einziger Signalton ertönt. Wenn ein Alarmton zu hören ist, schalten Sie den
Hauptschalter aus und laden Sie den Booster entweder auf oder schließen Sie die Klemmen
in der richtigen Reihenfolge wieder an.
5.Ist kein Ton zu hören, lassen Sie den Booster angeschaltet.
6.Betätigen Sie die Zündung des Fahrzeugs und starten Sie den Motor. Den Startvorgang nicht
länger als 5 Sekunden ausführen.
7.Wenn der Motor nicht startet, warten Sie mindestens 2 Minuten, bevor Sie es erneut versu-
chen, um eine Überlastung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.
8.Sobald der Motor läuft, schalten Sie den Booster-Schalter auf OFF. Ziehen Sie zuerst die
SCHWARZE (-) Klemme von der Fahrzeugbatterie ab und bringen Sie das Kabel in seine
Speicherstelle am Starthilfegerät zurück.
9.Ziehen Sie die ROTE (+) Klemme zuletzt ab und bringen Sie das Kabel wieder in seine Spei-
cherstelle am Booster zurück.
10.Schließen Sie den Booster sobald wie möglich an das mitgelieferte 240V AC Ladegerät an
und laden Sie das Gerät auf, um die Lebensdauer der Batterie zu erhalten.

Vollständig aufgeladen Auaden erforderlich leere Batterie
LED-MULTI-FUNKTIONSDISPLAY
Die LED-Batterieanzeige auf der Frontplatte zeigt einige wichtige Informationen an:
1. Interner Booster Batteriecheck.
Wenn die Batterieanzeige-Taste gedrückt wird – wird die Batterieladung des Booster ange-
zeigt, unabhängig davon, ob das Gerät geladen wird oder nicht.
2. Verpolungsalarme und Schutzfunktionen.
Beim falschen Anschalten des Gerätes – werden Alarmtöne zu hören sein. Schalten Sie das
Gerät aus und verbinden Sie die Kabel wieder mit der korrekten Polung.
3. Akkuzusatandsalarm - Wenn sich der Hauptschalter in der Ein-Position bendet und ein Aua-
den erforderlich ist, ertönt alle 25 Sekunden ein einzelner Warnton zusammen mit den drei
roten LED-Streifen an der Batterieanzeige.
Batteriekapazität-Anzeigeleiste
EINGEBAUTE SICHERHEITSSYSTEME:
Dieser Booster ist mit ausgeklügelten elektronischen Sicherheitssystemen ausgestattet, um das
Gerät und die angeschlossene Batterie bei versehentlichem Benutzerfehler zu schützen. Auch
bei diesen Schutzsystemen ist auf die korrekte Erkennung der Systemspannung und der zu
startenden Batterien zu achten:
Kurzschlussschutz:
Bei versehentlichem Berühren der Positiv- und Negativklemmen im eingeschalteten Zustand
schaltet das Gerät die Ausgangsleistung ab und verhindert so eine gefährliche Überlastsi-
tuation. Ein kleiner Funke kann trotzdem von den Klemmen ausgehen, deshalb sollte darauf
geachtet werden, dass das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Bleibatterien kurzgeschlossen wird
(Knallgas). Ein Warnton ertönt. Schalten Sie das Gerät zum Rücksetzen des Warntones aus.
Verpolungsschutz:
Wenn das Gerät beim Einschalten versehentlich verpolt angeschlossen wird, leuchtet die rote
LED auf der Frontplatte auf, ein Warnton wird ausgegeben. Es wird kein Strom ausgegeben.
Den Hauptschalter ausschalten und die Polarität des Anschlusses korrigieren, bevor Sie erneut
versuchen, ihn zu verwenden.
24V Batterieanschlussschutz:
Bei Batterien mit mehr als 20 Volt ertönt ein Alarmton und der Booster wird ausgeschaltet.
Überlast- und Übertemperaturschutz:
Bei Verwendung als Starthilfe, wenn die Last zu groß ist oder das Gerät zu lange unter Last
steht, blinkt die rote LED auf der Frontplatte, der Starthilfe-Ausgang wird gestoppt. Nach einer
gewissen Ruhezeit startet er automatisch wieder, wenn der Hauptschalter aus und wieder ein-
geschaltet wird.

Kapazitätsalarm:
Wenn sich der Hauptschalter in der Ein-Position bendet und ein Auaden erforderlich ist, er-
tönt alle 25 Sekunden ein einzelner Warnton (Piepton) zusammen mit den drei roten LED-Strei-
fen an der Batterieanzeige.
BETRIEB ALS TRAGBARES NETZTEIL
HOCHSTROM 12V KLAMMERAUSGANG
Dieses Gerät kann auch hohe Ströme über die Booster-Klemmen ausgeben. Es ist mit allen ein-
gebauten Sicherheitsfunktionen geschützt. Dies ist ideal für die Prüfung von rotierenden Moto-
ren wie Startern, Generatoren und Pumpen in einer Werkstattumgebung. Diese Art der Prüfung
kann sicher durchgeführt werden, durch die Schutzfunktionen können Probleme mit fehlerhaften
Motoren minimiert werden. Als Anhaltspunkt sollten Sie Anschlussgeräte mit einer Leistungsauf-
nahme von nicht mehr als 100A verwenden. Zum Betrieb die Positiv- und Negativklemmen kor-
rekt an das zu prüfende Gerät anschließen und den Hauptschalter in die Ein-Position schalten.
USB:
Dieser Booster ist mit einem 5V 2.4A USB-Ausgang auf der Rückseite des Gerätes ausgestattet.
Schließen Sie Ihr Gerät mit USB-Kabel an den USB-Anschluss an. Schalten Sie den USB-Port ein.
Der eingeschaltete Zustand wird nicht angezeigt. Schalten Sie den Port deshalb bei Nichtge-
brauch wieder aus.
12V-GERÄTEANSCHLUSS
Dieses Gerät ist mit 2 x 12V Steckdosen für Zubehör ausgestattet. Um diese Ausgangsbuchsen
zu verwenden, schließen Sie Ihr Gerät an. Der Strom wird ausgegeben, sobald eine Verbin-
dung hergestellt ist. Diese Steckdosen sind für 2 x7 Ampere bei jeweils 12V DC ausgelegt. Bitte
überschreiten Sie diese Grenzwerte nicht, um eine Überlastung der internen Schaltkreise zu ver-
meiden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei Nicht-Verwendung der Steckdosen die Gummi-Staubschutz-
hüllen über den Steckdosen angebracht sind, um das Eindringen von Staub oder Feuchtigkeit in
die Steckdosen zu verhindern.
LED-Notlicht
Drücken Sie den Lichtschalter einmal, um das Licht einzuschalten. Drücken Sie den Schalter
erneut, um das Licht auszuschalten.

AUFLADEN DER BOOSTER-EINHEIT
Für eine maximale Akkulaufzeit wird empfohlen, das Gerät immer voll aufgeladen zu halten.
Wenn die Batterie in einem entladenen Zustand verbleibt, kann die Lebensdauer der Batterie
vorzeitig verkürzt werden. Die folgende Tabelle zeigt die Häugkeit der Nutzung zwischen den
Ladungen und die geschätzte Anzahl der Lade-/Ladezyklen:

Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet wird und die interne Batterie nur noch ca. 60% der Ladung auf-
weist, wird eine Warnmeldung alle 25 Sekunden ausgegeben. Diese bleibt so lange bestehen,
bis das Gerät wieder aufgeladen wird. Wenn die Display-Taste gedrückt wird, während die
Unterspannungswarnung aktiv ist, blinken die restlichen Balken auf dem Display, um anzuzei-
gen, dass eine Wiederauadung durchgeführt werden sollte.
Das Auaden erfolgt mit dem mitgelieferten 1,8 Ampere Ladegerät über den Ladestecker.
Einfach den Schnellanschluss-Stecker in die Ladebuchse des Boosters stecken (Anschluss nur in
eine Richtung möglich), das andere Ende in eine passende 240V-Steckdose stecken und ein-
schalten. Der Ladevorgang beginnt automatisch.
Die Ladebuchse eignet sich auch zum schnellen Laden mit einem speziellen SCA-Autoladegerät
und bietet eine wesentlich höhere Laderate als das mitgelieferte 1,8-A-Ladegerät. Das Auaden
mit dieser Steckdose ist ideal, wenn Sie das Gerät in wesentlich kürzerer Zeit wieder auaden
müssen oder wenn Sie die Leistung des Geräts täglich durch mehrmaliges Starthilfen verbrau-
chen - z.B. Autohändler / Werkstätten / Pannenhilfe etc. Um ein geeignetes Kfz-Ladegerät
auszuwählen, das mit diesem Eingang kompatibel ist, wenden Sie sich bitte an eines unserer
hilfsbereiten Teammitglieder.
Empfehlungen zur Verlängerung der Batterielebensdauer:
• laden Sie das Gerät alle 3 Monate auf, auch wenn es nicht benutzt wird. Laden Sie das Ge-
rät so schnell wie möglich auf, wenn die Unterspannungswarnung aktiviert wird.
• vermeiden Sie nach Möglichkeit eine Lagerung bei extremen Temperaturen (über 50 Grad
Celsius und unter 0 Grad Celsius).
• lagern Sie das Gerät niemals im entladenen Zustand.

BATTERIE-ENTSORGUNG:
Um die Batterie zu entfernen, entfernen Sie die Schrauben, die das hintere Gehäuse umgeben,
und entfernen Sie dann die Rückwand, um den Batteriefachdeckel freizulegen. Lösen Sie die
beiden Sechskantschrauben an den Batterieklemmen und schieben Sie die Batterie vorsichtig
aus ihrem Hohlraum heraus. Wenn die Batterie ausgebaut ist, isolieren Sie die Batteriepole mit
Isolierband, um versehentliche Kurzschlüsse zu vermeiden.
Das Gerät ist nach Ende der Lebensdauer geeigneten Rücknahmestellen zuzufüh-
ren. Beachten Sie die Batterieverordnung.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Jumpstarting
1. Make sure that both the ignition of the vehicle that is to be started and the main switch are
both switched off before connecting the battery.
2. Connect the RED (+) clamp of the booster to the RED (+) positive pole of the vehicle‘s batte-
ry.
3. Connect the BLACK (-) clamp of the booster to a xed metal part of the engine or chassis
(no connection to fuel lines).
4. switch on the booster with the main switch. Pay attention to an acoustic signal. A continuous
beep signals a polarity reversal, while a single beep is heard every 25 seconds when the
battery voltage is low. If an alarm tone is heard, turn off the main switch and either charge
the booster or reconnect the clamps in the correct order.
5. If no sound is heard, leave the booster switched on.
6. Activate the ignition of the vehicle and start the engine. Do not operate the starting process
for more than 5 seconds.
7. If the engine does not start, wait at least 2 minutes before trying again to avoid overloading
the unit.
8. Once the engine is running, turn the booster switch to OFF. First disconnect the BLACK (-)
clamp from the vehicle battery and return the cable to its original location on the booster.
9. Disconnect the RED (+) clamp last and return the cable to its original position on the booster.
10. Connect the booster to the supplied 240V AC charger as soon as possible and charge the
unit to maintain battery life.
WARNING:
THIS DEVICE IS EQUIPPED WITH A SAFETY SYSTEM THAT PREVENTS SHORT CIR-
CUITS AND REVERSE POLARITY DAMAGE, BUT CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN
CONNECTING TO BATTERIES.
WHEN NOT IN USE, ALWAYS TURN OFF THE MAIN SWITCH AND STORE THE CA-
BLES CORRECTLY IN THEIR RESPECTIVE SLOTS.

LED MULTI-FUCTION DISPLAY
The LED battery indicator on the front panel displays some important information:
1. Internal booster battery check.
When the battery indicator button is pressed - the battery charge of the booster is displayed
regardless of whether the device is charging or not.
2. Reverse polarity alarms and protection functions.
If the unit is turned on incorrectly alarm sounds will be heard. Turn off the unit and reconnect
the cables to the correct polarity.
3. Battery charge alarm.
When the main switch is in the on position and recharging is required, a single warning tone
will sound every 25 seconds along with the three red LED strips on the battery indicator that
ash.
BATTERY CAPACITY INDICATOR BAR
BUILT-IN SAFETY SYSTEMS:
This booster is equipped with sophisticated electronic safety systems to protect the device and
the connected battery in the event of accidental user error. Also with these protection systems,
the correct identication of the system voltage and the batteries to be started must be ensured:
Short-circuit protection:
If the positive and negative clamps are accidentally touched when switched on, the device swit-
ches off the output power and thus prevents a dangerous overload situation. A small spark can
nevertheless emanate from the clamps, so care should be taken not to short-circuit the device
near lead batteries ( Oxyhydrogen gas ). A warning tone sounds. Turn off the unit to reset the
warning tone.
Reverse polarity protection:
If the device is accidentally connected with reversed polarity when switched on, the red LED on
the front panel lights up and a warning tone is emitted. No current is output. Turn off the main
switch and correct the polarity of the connector before attempting to use it again.
The protection functions only work when the main switch is on.
24V battery connection protection:
For batteries greater than 20 volts, an alarm tone sounds and the booster is switched off.
Overload and over-temperature protection:
When used as a starting aid, if the load is too large or the unit is under load for too long, the
red LED on the front panel ashes and the starting aid output is stopped. After a certain rest
period, it restarts automatically when the main switch is turned off and on again.

Capacity alarm:
When the main switch is in the ON position and recharging is required, a single beep is heard
every 25 seconds along with the three ashing red LED strips on the battery indicator.
OPERATION AS PORTABLE POWER SUPPLY
HIGH CURRENT 12V CLAMP OUTPUT
This device can also output high currents via the booster terminals. It is nevertheless protected
with all built-in safety functions. This is ideal for testing rotating motors such as starters, genera-
tors and pumps in a workshop environment. This type of testing can be performed safely, with
the protection features minimizing problems with faulty motors. As a guide, you should use
connected devices with a power consumption of no more than 100A. For operation, connect
the positive and negative clamps correctly to the device under test and set the main switch to
the ON position.
USB:
This booster is equipped with a 5V 2.4A USB-Output on the back of the device. Connect your
device to the USB port using the USB cable. Turn on the USB port. The switched-on state is not
displayed. Therefore, switch the port off again when not in use.
The USB port is equipped with an overload circuit; in case of overload, the power supply is
switched off and automatically restored after 2 minutes.
12V DEVICE CONNECTION
This unit is equipped with 2 x 12V sockets for accessories. To use these output sockets, connect
your device. The power is output as soon as a connection is established. These sockets are de-
signed for 2 x7 Amps at 12V DC each. Please do not exceed these limits to avoid overloading
the internal circuits. When the sockets are not in use, ensure that the rubber dust covers are
placed over the sockets to prevent dust or moisture from entering the sockets.
LED emergency light
Press the light switch once to turn on the light. Press the switch again to turn off the light.

CHARGING THE BOOSTER UNIT
For maximum battery life, it is recommended that the unit be kept fully charged at all times.
If the battery remains discharged, the battery life may be shortened prematurely. The following
table shows the frequency of use between charges and the estimated number of charge/charge
cycles:

When the unit is turned on and the internal battery is about 60% of its charge, a warning
message is displayed every 25 seconds. This message remains until the device is recharged. If
the display button is pressed while the low voltage warning is active, the remaining bars on the
display will ash to indicate that recharging should be performed.
Charging is done with the supplied 1.8 amp charger via the charging plug. Simply plug the
quick connection plug into the charging socket of the booster (connection only possible in one
direction), plug the other end into a suitable 240V socket and switch on. The charging process
starts automatically.
The charging socket is also suitable for fast charging with a special SCA car charger and offers
a considerably higher charging rate than the 1.8 A charger supplied. Charging with this socket
is ideal if you need to recharge the charger in a much shorter time or if you use the power of
the charger several times a day - e.g. car dealers/workshops / breakdown service etc. - to help
you get started. To select a suitable car charger compatible with this input, please contact one
of our helpful team members.
Recommendations for extending battery life:
• Charge the unit every 3 months, even when not in use - Charge the unit as soon as possible
when the low voltage warning is activated.
• If possible, avoid storage at extreme temperatures (above 50 degrees Celsius and below 0
degrees Celsius).
• Never store the unit in a discharged state.

BATTERY DISPOSAL:
To remove the battery, remove the screws surrounding the rear casing and then remove the
rear panel to expose the battery compartment cover. Loosen the two hexagonal screws on the
battery terminals and gently slide the battery out of its cavity. When the battery is removed,
insulate the battery terminals with insulating tape to prevent accidental short circuits.
The device must be returned to suitable collection points at the end of its service
life. Observe the battery regulations.
