1. All Shower Seats
Please exami e your shower seat for a y visible damage before usi g. If you see a y damage or suspect a fault,
please co tact your supplier.
In this case, please do not use your product as it may compromise your safety.

2. Cleaning
All of the product compo e ts are ma ufactured from quality materials. However, it is very importa t that you o ly
clea your shower chairs a d stools usi g a o -abrasive clea er or mild deterge t with a soft cloth avoid usi g lime
scale remover. Abrasive clea ers e.g. AJAX a d or abrasive clea i g pads will seriously damage your product beyo d
repair.
Certai products have clip o /clip off backs a d/or seats, you ca easily remove these if required, clea with a mild
deterge t a d soft cloth i a warm water solutio . Do ot exceed 50
o
C whe clea i g the seat cover a d/or back as
this will perma e tly damage the plastic.
N.B. Regular daily cleaning will reduce the build up of limescale on your product.

clea er you i te d to use is suitable for ABS, Vi yl, Polymer Plastics a d Thermo plastic rubbers a d Polyuretha e
Rubber.
3. Adjustments to Extension Legs (if applicable)
Please adjust the legs prior to i stallatio . Remove the ‘E’ clip from the exte sio leg a d exte d all four legs eve ly
to the desired height e suri g you do ot exceed the last pu ched hole of the exte sio leg. (see fig. 1)
O ce you have achieved the desired height; rei stall the ‘E’ clip, e suri g that it has passed through the exte sio
leg a d is fitti g eatly a d s ug arou d the outside leg. (see fig. 2).
Never i stall the exte sio legs u eve ly or sla ti g, this will compromise the safety of the user.

4. Fixing the Shower Seat
Choose a suitable fixi g for the substrate that you i te d to fix the shower seat to a d secure the back plate of the
shower seat to the substrate Make sure that the fixi g is secure before allowi g it to be used.
5. Testing the Shower Seat
O ce you have i stalled the shower seat check your i stallatio a d the moveme t of the shower seat by raisi g the
set from the dow positio to the up positio .
•Check that there are o obstructio
•Check that the moveme t of the seat is smooth a d u hi dered
•Check that the seat legs (if applicable) are sitti g eve ly o the floor
6. Raising and Lowering the Shower Seat
To raise your seat, simply lift the fro t of the seat a d the legs will automatically fold i wards towards the wall.
Reverse the actio to lower.
7. Folding Action
If required, your shower seat ca be folded up whe ot i use. The seat is held i positio by frictio o ly.
O ce you have i stalled the seat, check that there is sufficie t frictio to keep the seat i the upright positio whe
required.
If the seat starts to desce d, the you will eed to tighte the bolts either side of the seat hi ges. This operatio
should be sufficie t to mai tai the seat i the closed positio .
Additio ally, it will be ecessary for the bolts to be tighte ed periodically, if the seat starts to ope o its ow accord.
8. Threaded Leg Adjustment
Your shower seat may have special threaded leg adjustme t as opposed to the sta dard exte sio leg.
To adjust the height of your seat, carefully ope the stai less steel M10 locki g ut a d u do the threaded stem to
the desired height. O o accou t exceed a fi ished height of 470 mm measured from the top of the seat to the
bottom of the black circular foot, as this may compromise the safety of the user.
O ce you have reached the desired height, lock the stem i place by tighte i g the lock ut agai st the black
i de ted bush.
NB. Occasio ally the exte sio stems may be slightly a gled i wards to the frame. This is ot a fault a d will ot
impair the fu ctio or safety of the product, provided that you tighte off the lock ut as required.
9. Use of Bath Oils
Cautio should be observed if you are usi g a y form of bath oils or oily ski preparatio with your shower chair as
this may impair your atural co tact ski resista ce.
I the eve t of usi g a y such oil, your seat must be thoroughly clea ed with a suitable deterge t to break dow a y
oily residue. Failure to observe this recomme datio could impair your safety.

10. Reissue
If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all compo e ts for their safety.
This i cludes:
•PAT test for electrical items
•Tight ess of all uts/ bolts/castors
•Other screw i / bolt i / push i compo e ts.
•Also check all upholstery for security, splits, etc.
If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately contact your supplier for service support.
11. Maintenance
Please make a safety check of the product at regular i tervals or if you have a y co cer s.
