Connessione del dispositivo
La connessione e la configurazione del
dispositivo avviene tramite l’applicazione mobile
Ajax Security System. Per stabilire la
connessione tra il rilevatore e l’Hub, avvicinare i
dispositivi ed eseguire la procedura di aggiunta
del dispositivo.
Per connettere un rilevatore ad una centrale di

Conexión y configuración del detector
La conexión y configuración del detector se
realiza a través de la aplicación móvil Ajax
Security System. Para establecer la conexión
entre el detector y el Hub, deben situarse uno

Para conectar el detector a un panel central de

Detector Connection
The detector is connected to the Hub and set up
via the Ajax Security System mobile application.
To establish connection please locate the
detector and the hub within the communication
range and follow the device adding procedure.
To connect the detector to a third party security
central unit using the Ajax uartBridge or Ajax

Scelta dell’ubicazione
Il rilevatore deve essere collocato in luoghi

una lavatrice, ecc… Non è necessario fissare il
rilevatore sulla superficie.
Nello scegliere la posizione d’installazione del
LeakProtect, si deve considerare il raggio
d’azione limitato del segnale radio.
Non installare il dispositivo:
● All’aperto (outdoor).
● Vicino ad oggetti metallici o specchi che
causano l’attenuazione del segnale radio.
● All’interno di un’installazione con temperatura
e umidità oltre i limiti permessi.
Per verificare la qualità della comunicazione tra
il rilevatore e l’Hub, provare il livello di intensità
del segnale con l’applicazione Ajax Security
System per almeno un minuto.

LeaksProtect avviserà con un allarme se
almeno una coppia di contatti del circuito si
chiudono. Per verificare il corretto
funzionamento del rilevatore, toccare una
coppia di contatti con un dito bagnato per
almeno 3 secondi: l’indicatore si illuminerà di
rosso. Successivamente, pulire i contatti con un
panno asciutto. Quando il rilevatore rileva che
l’inondazione è terminata, ripeterà l’indicazione.

Selección de la ubicación del dispositivo
El detector debe colocarse en lugar donde sea
más que probable una fuga de agua originada
en los sistemas de suministro de agua,
calefacción y alcantarillado, en el suelo del
baño, bajo el lavabo, debajo de la lavadora,
etc. No es necesario colocar el detector en la
superficie.
Al seleccionar la ubicación de instalación de
LeaksProtect, se debe considerar el radio de
acción limitado por la señal radio.
No instalar el detector:
●Al aire libre.
●Cerca de objetos metálicos y
espejos que causen la atenuación
de la señal de radio.
●Dentro de cualquier instalación con
una temperatura y humedad más
allá de los límites permitidos.
Para comprobar la calidad de la comunicación
con el Hub, probar el nivel de intensidad de la
señal en la aplicación móvil Ajax Security
System durante al menos un minuto.

LeaksProtect avisará con una alarma si al
menos un par de contactos cierran el circuito.
Para comprobar la capacidad de
funcionamiento del detector, tocar el par de
contactos con un dedo mojado durante 3
segundos: el indicador se encenderá de color
rojo. Después, limpiar los contactos con un
paño seco. Cuando el detector detecte que ya
no hay inundación, repetirá la indicación.

Testing and Location Selection
Position the detector in the most likely place
where a leak to the water, heating, or sewage
systems are likely to occur: on the floor under
the bath, under the wash sink, under the
washing machine, etc. You need not attach the
detector to the surface.
In selecting the location of LeaksProtect, please
take account of the limited action radius of the
radio signal.
Do not install the detector:
●Outside the premises (outdoors).
●Nearby any metal objects and mirrors
causing radio signal attenuation or
screening it.
●Within any premises with the
temperature and humidity beyond the
range of permissible limits.
To check the communication quality with the
hub, test the signal strength in the Ajax Security
System application for at least a minute.

LeaksProtect will give the alarm, if at least one
pair of contacts is closed. Check the operating
capability of the detector by touching the contact
pair with a wet finger for three seconds - the
indicator will light up red. Then wipe the
contacts with a dry napkin - when the detector
detects that the flooding is stopped, it will repeat
the indication.
