USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove the product from the box.
2. Remove any packaging from the
product.
3. Please retain all packaging until you
have checked and counted all the
parts and the contents against the
parts list.
4. Your appliance is now ready for
normal use.
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
The Wake-Up Alarm Clock Radio needs
two AAA batteries to operate. The batteries
can be used as a backup power source
if the electricity is down or there is no
access to a network or computer.
Note: The batteries save your settings
if the alarm clock is used in different
locations.
1. Lay the clock face down on a sturdy
surface that will not scratch the
display.
2. On the back of the clock, open the
battery compartment by sliding
your finger down on the arrow. The
compartment door should slide out.
3. Insert 2 AAA batteries into the
compartment. Make sure the
batteries match the polarity indicated
inside the clock.
4. Re-attach the battery cover.
5. Adjust the stand so the alarm clock
stands upright.
Note: When only the batteries are used,
the clock’s functions are limited:
• The time display will switch off in 5
seconds. Press any button to back of
the clock to turn it back on.
• The sound the alarm is set to will
play for 2 minutes with the ability to
snooze the alarm. Press or touch any
button except the Snooze button to
stop the sound.
• The light function is not available.
• The radio function is available.
CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY
The clock comes with a micro USB cable
and a power adaptor.
• To use the power adaptor, connect
the micro USB cable to the clock and
the other end to the adaptor. Plug
the adaptor into the mains to use the
clock.
• To use to a computer to power the
clock, connect the micro USB cable to
the clock and plug the other end into
the computer’s USB port.
SETTING THE TIME
1. When the clock is plugged in, the
hours on the time display will begin
to blink. After 8 seconds the time will
default to 12:00 am
2. To set the hours, press the plus or
minus buttons (on the clock’s face).
3. Press the Current Time button to
confirm your choice.
4. To set the minutes, press the plus
or minus buttons. Press the Current
Time button to confirm your
choice.
5. Press the Current Time button if
the hours and minutes stop blinking
to continue setting the time.

SELECTING THE 12/24 FORMAT
1. The clock allows you to set the time in
a 12/24hr format. To select the time
format, press the “12/24” button on
the backside of the clock.
2. Press the 12/24 hour button until the
correct format displays.
3. For the 12hr format, AM or PM will
appear on the time display.
Note: AM or PM will not show on the time
display for the 24hr format.
CHANGE THE CURRENT TIME
1. Touch the Current Time button ,
and the hour will begin blinking.
2. Press the plus or minus buttons to
adjust the time, and press the Current
Time button to confirm the hour.
3. Use the plus or minus buttons to
select the minutes, and press the
Current Time button to confirm
the minutes.
4. If the time display stops blinking,
press the Current Time button
continue setting the time.
CHANGE THE DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS
The time display’s brightness comes in
three settings: low, high and off. Press
the Brightness Setting button (on
the clock’s backside) until you reach the
desired setting.
USING THE FM RADIO
5. To turn the radio on, press the FM
button on the time display.
6. Hold the FM button for 3 seconds. The
radio will scan for all any available
FM channels and automatically save
them.
7. Touch the plus or minus buttons to
select a FM station.
8. To adjust the volume, press the
volume button on the back of the
clock. The volume cycles, and so will
move to its louder setting with each
press, then back to 00 which is silent.
Note: The volume level is between 1 and
15.

Note: When the radio is in use, the time
will not show. The radio station will appear
on the time display. To return to the clock
setting while in Radio mode press the FM
button.
SETTING THE ALARM
1. To set the alarm, press the alarm
button on the time display to turn it
on. The alarm icon will appear on
the time display.
2. Hold the alarm button for 3 seconds.
3. The hours on the display will begin
blinking.
4. Use the plus or minus buttons to
select the hour. Press the alarm
button to confirm. You will have 5
seconds to make your selection. If no
selection is made the clock will return
to the Current Time. Simply press the
Alarm button for 3 seconds again
to return to the set up mode.
5. Once you have confirmed the Hour
setting by pressing the alarm button
the minutes will begin to blink. Touch
the plus or minus buttons to select
the minutes. Press the alarm button
to confirm.
SETTING THE NATURE SOUND
1. To set a wake-up or alarm sound, press the
Nature Sound button on the back of
the clock.
2. Press the plus or minus buttons to select
your desired sound and confirm by touching
the Nature Sound button.
3. Note: You can select between seven
sounds. Sounds 1-6 are natural sounds
and 7 is the FM Radio. Each sound will
play for 5 seconds before you make a
selection, except the FM Radio option. If the
7 is chosen as a wake-up sound, your last
listened FM Radio station will be used as
your alarm sound.
4. Press the volume button on the back of the
clock to adjust the volume between levels 1
to 15 with 15 being maximum volume.
TURNING OFF THE ALARM AND USING THE
SUNRISE SIMULATION
Your clock is designed to gradually wakeup
you to the light of the sunrise.
30 minutes before your alarm is set to
go off, the simulated sunrise feature will
gradually begin to increase its brightness.
At alarm time the selected sound (nature
or radio) will play for 2 minutes.
• To snooze the alarm sound, press the
Snooze button on the time display.
The sound will stop for 5 minutes and
then play again for 2 minutes.
• To turn off the alarm, press or touch
any of the buttons except the Snooze
button to stop the sound.
• To turn off the wake up light, press
and hold the Light button

SETTING THE SUNSET TIME
1. Press the Sunset button on the time
display to turn sunset mode on and off.
2. Press and hold the Sunset button for 3
seconds to set the sunset time. The hours
will begin blinking on the time display.
3. Use the plus or minus buttons to select the
hours. Press the Sunset button to confirm
the hour.
4. Touch the plus or minus buttons to select
the minutes. Press the Sunset button to
confirm the minutes.
Note:
Press the Sunset button to continue if the
hours/minutes stop blinking, while you’re setting
the sunset time.
SUNSET LIGHT SIMULATION
30 minutes before sunset time, the light on your
clock will turn on at 100% brightness in any
mode. The brightness will reduce gradually and
will turn off at sunset time.
• Press and hold the Sunset button to turn
off the light.
USING THE LIGHT FUNCTION
1. Press the Light button
on the time
display to turn on the light.
2. Use the plus or minus buttons to adjust the
light’s brightness from 1 to 10.
3. Touch the Light button
to begin colour
changing mode. This will cycle the light
feature gradually through the colour range.
4. Press the plus or minus buttons to select
a colour. The choices are Green, Red, Blue,
Purple, Orange, Indigo and white.
5. To switch off the light, press the Light
button
.

TROUBLESHOOTING THE APPLIANCE
PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTION
The clock will not turn
on.
Check the power adaptor is correctly connected at both ends and
that batteries are correctly installed inside the clock.
There is no sound
whilst in Radio
Function.
Check that the volume has been correctly adjusted.
Check that the Clock is correctly set to Radio Mode.
Check other radio stations.
Crackling whilst in
radio mode.
Generally caused by a weak signal.
Try adjusting the position of the antenna cable.
Try a different radio station with better reception.
Alarm does not
function.
Ensure that the Alarm time and sound have been set correctly.
Ensure that the Alarm has been correctly activated.
Increase the radio volume.
Ensure the radio has been tuned correctly to a station.
The clock did not save
original time during a
power outage.
Change the back-up battery.

CLEANING AND CARE
IMPORTANT:
1. Always disconnect the Clock from the power
supply and/or remove the batteries before
cleaning.
2. Clean the clock with a soft, damp, lint free
cloth.
3. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaners.
4. Keep the clock in a cool, dry place.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the terminals
in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains
lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and
must be connected to the terminal marked
[N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire
and must be connected to the terminal
marked [L] or coloured red.
On no account must either the brown or
the blue wire be connected to the [EARTH]
terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is
fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the
same rating already fitted and conforming
to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must
use an ASTA approved one (conforming to
BS 1362 of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect
it from the mains - and then cut it off the
mains lead and immediately dispose of its
safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or
insert it into a socket outlet as there is a
danger of an electric shock.
WARNING:
This appliance is double insulated.
Do not connect any wire to the earth terminal.
