•Switchon the stereo system'spowerifthe playerhas
been connected toastereo system.

1.Press POWERtoswitchon the power.
2.Press OPEN/CLOSE toopen the disc tray.
3.Placeadisc ontothe disc tray.Holdthe disc whitout
touching eitherofitssurfaces,position itwiththe
printed titleside facing up,align itwiththe guides,
and placeitinitsproperposition.
4.Press OPEN/CLOSE
The disc trayisautomaticallyclosed and playbegins.
When the disc trayisclosed bypressing OPEN/
CLOSE,the playerwill starttoread the disc
immediately.
5.When amenu screen appearson the TVmonitor,tilt
the joystick button orpress the numericbuttonsto
selectpreferred track number,then press SELECT
button toconfirm.
6.Toselectthe differenticonsofthe disc menu,usethe
joystick buttonsconfirming withthe SELECTbutton.
7.Tostop playand returntothe menu screen,press
PBCbutton,orMENU button(whichbutton ispressed

MP3formattobe playbacked and afterafewseconds,
on the TVscreen will appearan icon ofconfirmation
bearing the logo MP3.
2.The playerwill beginplayback automaticallydeparting
fromthe firsttrack.
3.the menu withthe nameofthe tracks recorded on the
disc and the related duration will be displayed.

Thisplayerplays the tracks inthe disc inan orderyou

1.Press PROGRAMbutton inthe stop mode,and the

2.Press JOYSTICKbuttonstomovethe cursorthrough
the appositearea,then enterusing the numericbut-
tonsthe desired track number(orchapter/captincase
ofDVD).
•Upto16 tracks can be programmed.
3.PressJOYSTICKbuttontoselectPLAY PROGRAM,then
press the selectbutton.The playerwill playthe disc in
the programmed order.
4.Toclearprogrammed play:
•Press PROGRAMbutton toenterintoprogrammenu.

differentlanguage fromthe one selected atthe initialsettings
(Thisoperation works onlywithdiscs on whichmultipleau-

Press AUDIObutton during playing DVDdisc,the screen will
displaythe numberofcurrentsoundtrack language,press
the button againwill change the language.
Pressing AUDIObutton during playing VCD disc will change
audiooutputmode:Laudiosoundtrack,Raudiosoundtrack
and stereo (VCD disc only).
NOTE:whenno soundtrack languages arerecorded,
press thisbutton will notwork.
NOTE:Whenthepoweristurnedon orthedisc isre-
moved,thelanguageheardistheoneselected
attheinitialsettings.
Viewingfromanotherangle(DVDonly)
SomeDVDsmaycontainsceneswhichhavebeen shotsi-
multaneouslyfromanumberofdifferentangles.Forthese
discs,the samescene can be viewsfromeachofthesediffer-
entanglesusing the ANGLEbutton.
Press ANGLEduring play,numberofanglebeing playback
will be displayed inthe screen,press the button will change to
differentangles.
