It is important that this instruction manual should be retained with
the appliance player for future reference. These warnings have been
provided in the interest of safety. You MUST read them carefully before
installation or use.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE FIRST USE:
• Remove the product from the box.
• Remove any packaging from the
product.
• Please retain all packaging until you
have checked and counted all the parts
and the contents against the parts list.
• Your appliance is now ready for normal
use.
AFFIXING THE SHOULDER STRAP:
This unit comes complete with a shoulder
carry strap, for convenient transportation. To
affix the shoulder carry strap onto the unit,
simply attach the clips at either end to any of
the corresponding hoops on the body of the
unit. Ensure each clip is securely fastened
before attempting to lift or transport the unit,
to prevent damaging it.
POWERING ON AND CHARGING THE
BATTERY:
This unit is equipped with a rechargeable
battery, and can be charged through the
included USB charging cable.
1. Insert the micro-USB end of the
included USB cable into the USB port at
the back of the speaker and the other
into a compatible mains adaptor or USB
port. A red LED light will come on in
the unit’s control panel to indicate the
device is charging.
NOTE: It is recommended to fully charge the
battery before first use. It should take 4-6
hours for the battery to charge in full.
2. Once the device has finished charging,
the red light will turn off.
3. When the device has finished charging,
unplug the USB adaptor from the unit.
4. If charging through a USB adaptor,
take care to switch the mains outlet off
before removing the cable.
5. If charging through a laptop or similar
device, take care to unmount the USB
cable before removing it from the unit.
To unmount the USB cable, use the
device management menu on your
laptop or computer.
ADJUSTING PLAYBACK VOLUME:
Use the Previous/Vol-and Next/Vol+ buttons
when the unit is in operation to adjust
playback output volume.
Long-press the Previous/Vol-button to
decrease the volume or the Next/Vol+ button
to increase it.
NOTE: The unit will give off a warning sound
to indicate maximum or minimum sound
levels have been reached.
PLAYBACK CONTROLS:
Use the Previous/Vol-, Next/Vol+ and Play/
Pause/Mode buttons to control playback
when the unit is in operation.
Short-press the Previous/Vol- button to skip
back or the Next/Vol+ button to skip forward
to the next track on a playlist.
Press the Play/Pause button when audio is
playing to stop or pause playback. Press this
button again when playback is stopped to
resume it.
MODE SELECTION:
Long-press the Play/Pause/Mode button
to switch between Bluetooth/MP3 and
FM Radio modes. You will hear a sound to
indicate Bluetooth/MP3 mode is selected.
When FM Radio mode is selected, the unit
will automatically begin playing audio from
the first available radio broadcast.

PLAYING MODES:
BLUETOOTH MODE:
1. Flick the ON/OFF switch to the ‘On’
position to turn the unit on. A blue LED
light will flash on the unit’s control
panel and you will hear a sound to
indicate the unit has been turned on.
2. Another sound prompt will indicate
when the unit is ready to pair through
Bluetooth.
3. Turn on the Bluetooth function in your
external device and look for “A58095”.
4. Select the speaker name and pair it with
your device. If a password is required,
press “0000”.
5. You will hear a sound to indicate the
speaker has successfully paired with
your device.
6. If pairing is unsuccessful, restart both
devices and repeat the steps above.
7. Select the audio file you wish to play and
press the Play/Pause button on your
device or the unit’s control panel to start
playback.
8. Once the selected media file is playing,
use the media controls on the external
device to control playback and volume.
9. Flick the ON/OFF switch to the ‘Off’
position at any time while the unit is in
operation to turn it off.
USB MODE:
1. Insert the Micro USB end of a USB
connecting cable into the corresponding
slot in the unit’s control panel, and the
other end into the USB port on your
external device.
2. Flick the ON/OFF switch to the ‘On’
position to turn the unit on.
3. The speaker will automatically start
playing the audio files saved on the
storage device.
4. Once the selected media file is playing,
use the media controls on the external
device to control playback and volume.
5. Flick the ON/OFF switch to the ‘Off’
position at any time while the unit is in
operation to turn it off.
SD/TF CARD MODE:
1. Insert a compatible SD/TF card into the
corresponding slot in the unit’s control
panel.
2. Flick the ON/OFF switch to the ‘On’
position to turn the unit on.
3. The speaker will automatically start
playing the audio files saved on the
storage device.
4. Once the selected media file is playing,
use the media controls on the unit’s
control panel to control playback and
volume.
5. Flick the ON/OFF switch to the ‘Off’
position at any time while the unit is in
operation to turn it off.
AUX MODE:
1. To play music from an external device
using AUX mode, plug one end of the
included AUX cable into the AUX Out
jack at the back of the unit, and the
other end into the corresponding jack on
the external device.
2. Flick the ON/OFF switch to the ‘On’
position to turn the unit on.
3. When playing music in AUX mode, use
the media controls on the external
device to control playback and volume.
4. Flick the ON/OFF switch to the ‘Off’
position at any time while the unit is in
operation to turn it off.

FM RADIO MODE:
5. This unit can also tune into and play
audio from FM radio stations.
6. To access FM Radio mode, first flick the
ON/OFF switch to the ‘On’ position to
turn the unit on.
7. Once the unit has been turned on, long-
press the Play/Pause button to access
FM Radio mode.
8. Once the unit is in FM Radio mode,
press the Previous/Vol- and Next/Vol+
buttons to cycle between available radio
stations.
9. When the unit is tuned into a radio
station, press the Play/Pause/Mode
button to interrupt playback at any time.
Press this button again while playback
is paused to resume radio broadcasting.

TROUBLESHOOTING THE APPLIANCE
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The unit will not
turn on. (no power) Low battery Connect the unit to a USB port or mains
adaptor for charging.
No sound. Volume not
adjusted. Adjust the volume level using the Previous/
Vol- and Next/Vol+ buttons on the unit’s
control panel.
Wrong audio
source or function
selected.
Select the correct audio source and function.
Source device not
turned on. Turn the source device on.
Unit not turned
on. Turn the speaker on by pressing the On/Off
button on the remote control or the unit’s
control panel.
Volume is set too
low. Adjust the output volume using the Previous/
Vol- and Next/Vol+ buttons on the unit’s
control panel.
Audio file is
paused. Press the Play/Pause button on the unit’s
control panel to resume playback.
Sound is distorted. Volume level is
set too high. Adjust the output volume using the media
controls on the source device or the Previous/
Vol- and Next/Vol+ buttons on the unit’s
control panel.
Low battery Connect the unit to a USB port or mains
socket for charging.
The unit becomes
warm after
extended play at
high volume.
This is normal. Turn the unit off for some time or lower the
volume.
The unit turns
on but makes a
strange noise
Low battery Connect the unit to a USB port or mains
adaptor for charging.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING:
Do not attempt to open any part of the power adaptor or plug.
(Power adapters only)
Never open the power adapter, you risk getting an electric shock.
Only use the power adapter that is supplied with your product.
You must always connect the power adapter to the product before connecting to the mains
power supply.
The power adapter must be used indoors only, and must not be subjected to damp
conditions.
The power adapter does not have any user serviceable parts.
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug – disconnect it from the mains – and then cut it off of the
mains lead and immediately dispose of it in a safe manner. Never attempt to reuse the plug
or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric shock.

CLEANING AND CARE
1. Clean the unit with a soft, damp
cloth. Never use chemicals or hard
abrasives.
2. Keep this unit away from wet or damp
surroundings.
3. Store in a clean, dry place.
4. Do not expose the unit to extremely
high or low temperatures as this will
shorten the life of electronic devices,
destroy the battery and distort certain
plastic parts.
5. Don’t dispose of the unit in fire as it
will result in an explosion.
6. Don’t expose the unit to contact
with sharp objects as this will cause
scratches and damage.
7. Don’t let the unit fall to the floor. The
internal circuit might get damaged.
8. Don’t attempt to disassemble the unit
yourself, as it may get damaged.
CAUTION: Never leave the speaker
in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or
dusty places. Keep the speaker away
from heating appliances and sources of
electrical noise, such as fluorescent lamps
and motors.
RECYCLING
DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT:
Appliances bearing the symbol shown here may not be disposed of in domestic
rubbish.
You are required to dispose of old electrical and electronic appliances like this
separately.
