lf your machine comes with a detachable power cord, please
insert into the AC power inlet on the rear panel of your ma-
chine. If you want to use any other kind of power cord, please
use one of a similar type and consult a qualified electrician.

THIS APPARATUS MUST BE EARTHED.
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code:
Green-and-yellow: Earth, Blue: Neutral, Brown: Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus
may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying
the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured green-and-yellow must be con-
nected to the terminal in the plug which is marked by the
letter E or by the safety earth symbol =~ or coloured green or
coloured green-and-yellow.
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L. or coloured red.
* When wiring a plug, ensure that all terminals are securely
tightened and that no loose strands of wire exist.
If your machine comes with a three core power cord, for
your safety:
1. Insert this plug only into an effectively earthed three-pin
plug socket outlet.
2. If any doubt exists regarding the earthing, consult a quali-
fied electrician.
3. Extension cords, if used, must be three-core correctly
wired.

This machine can be set to 110V, 120V,
220V or 240V as required. Each ma-
chine is preset at the factory according
to destination. However, if voltage
change is necessary, this can be accom-
plished as follows:
1. Disconnect power cord.
2. With a flat bladed screwdriver rotate
the selector (located above the power
cord on the rear panel) until the
arrow points to the desired voltage.

repair shop or professional service

au cas ol un changement de tension est

Dieses Geraét kann. je nach Erfordernis

mungslandes im Werk eingestellt. Falls
jedoch eine Verstellung der Stromspan-
nung notwendig ist, kann diese wiefoigt
durchgefiihrt werden:
1. Ziehen Sie das Stromkabel aus.
2. Drehen Sie den Wahler (oberhalb
des Stromkabels auf der Riickplatte)
mit einem Flachstahlschraubenzieher,
bis der Pfeil auf die gewiinschte
Stromspannung zeigt.

To avoid damaging the finish never use alcohol, paint
thinner or other similar chemicals.
Always place the equipment on a flat and solid surface.
Only connect audio components to this timer.
Never connect components exceeding the power con-
sumption marked at the AC outlets.

ON: Set to this position to turn on components con-

CLOCK BUTTON
A safety button which locks-in the actual time and times
for TURN ON and TURN OFF.
SEC. DISPLAY BUTTON
Press to display the minutes (up to 9 min.) and seconds of
the
actual
time.
Use
to
synchronize
the
Timer
with
the
actual time by setting the seconds to zero.
TIME SET BUTTON
Keep this button depressed when setting the Timer to the
actual time.
TURN ON BUTTON
Press when setting the time for the switched AC Outlets
to turn on.
TURN OFF BUTTON
Press when setting the time for the switched AC Outlets
to turn off.
TIME LIMIT SET BUTTON
Press when setting the fength of the time the switched AC
Outlets are to be on (up to 1 hour and 59 minutes).
DIMMER SENSOR (Auto}
The brightness of the Timer Display changes automatical-
ly according to the surrounding light.

Une touche de sécurité qui verrouille I’heure actuelle et
les heures de mise sous tension et hors circuit.
TOUCHE D’AFFICHAGE DES SECONDES (Sec. display)
Appuyer sur cette touche pour afficher fes minutes
(jusqu’a 9 mn.) et les secondes de I’heure actuelle. L’utili-
ser pour synchroniser la minuterie avec I’heure actuelle
en mettant les secondes a Zéro.
TOUCHE DE REGLAGE DE L’HEURE (Time set}
Laisser cette touche enfoncée lors du réglage de la minu-
terie 4 I‘heure exacte.
TOUCHE DE MISE SOUS TENSION (Turn on)
Appuyer sur.cette touche pour régler I’heure 4 laquelle
les sorties CA commutées se mettront sous tension.
TOUCHE DE MISE HORS CIRCUIT (Turn off)
Appuyer sur cette touche pour régler I’heure 4 laquelle
les sorties CA commutées se mettront hors circuit.
TOUCHE DE REGLAGE DE LA LIMITE DU TEMPS

Appuyer sur cette touche pour régler la durée du temps
pendant leque!l les sorties CA commutées seront sous

SEKUNDENAZEIGE TASTE (Sec. display)
Driicken Sie diese Taste fiir die Anzeige der Minuten (bis
zu 9 Minuten) und Sekunden der aktuellen Zeit. Benutzen
Sie sie, um den Timer auf die aktuellen Zeit abzustimmen,
indem Sie die Sekunden auf Null stellen.

TIME DISPLAY
AC OUTLET INDICATOR
Lights red when the Outlet is ON.
TIME LIMIT SET INDICATOR
Lights green when the Time Limit Set is ON.
FAST AND SLOW BUTTONS
When the FAST button is pressed along with one of the
following buttons, TIME SET, TURN ON, TURN OFF or
TIME LIMIT SET, the time displayed will be forwarded
quickly. When the SLOW button is pressed instead of the
FAST button, the time. displayed will be forwarded
slowly.
REVERSE BUTTON
When pressed along with the FAST or SLOW button, the
time displayed will be put back.
SEC RESET BUTTON
Press together with the SEC DISPLAY button and the
seconds will be set to zero. Release the SEC RESET but-
ton and the timing will begin.

temps, l'heure affichée changera rapidement. Lorsque la
touche “‘lent’’ est enfoncée au lieu de la touche “rapide,”
l'heure affichée changera lentement.
TOUCHE DE MARCHE ARRIERE (Reverse)
Lorsqu’elle est enfoncée en méme temps que la touche
“rapide” ou “ent,” l'heure affichée diminuera.
TOUCHE DE REMISE A ZERO DES SECONDES
(Sec reset)
Appuyer sur cette touche en méme temps que sur la
touche d’affichage des secondes et les secondes seront
remises 4 zéro. Reldcher la touche de mise a zéro des
secondes et le chronométrage commencera.

Wenn die Schnell-Taste zusammen mit einer der folgenden
Tasten gedriickt wird — Zeiteinstelien, Einschalten oder
Zeitbegrenzungseinstellen — wird die angezeigte Zeit
schnell vorgestellt. Wenn Sie anstelie der Schnell-Taste die
Langsam-Taste driicken, wird die angezeigte Zeit iangsam
vorgestellt.
RUCKLAUF-TASTE (Reverse)
Wenn Sie diese Taste zusammen mit der Schnell- oder
Langsam-Taste driicken, wird die angezeigte Zeit zuriick-
gestellt.
SEKUNDENRUCKSTELL-TASTE (Sec reset)
Driicken Sie diese Taste zusammen mit der Sekundenan-
zeige-Taste, und die Sekunden werden auf Null gestelit.
Rasten Sie die Sekundenriickstell-Taste aus, damit die
Zeitmessung beginnt.

SETTING THE TIMER TO THE
ACTUAL TIME

. Connect the external components’ power cords to the
“SO CF B W
. Plug in the Power Cord to a household AC Outlet.
. On the Time Display “AM 12:00” or ‘0:00: will fiash on
and off depending on the setting of 12 Hour/24 Hour
Display selector.
. Press the Time Set button, then keep pressing the Fast or
Slow button until the actual time appears on the Time
Display.
. Press the Sec Display button, then the Sec Reset button
to set the seconds to zero (to synchronize the Timer with
the actual time).
. Press the Clock button so that even if the Fast or Slow
button is pressed accidentally the actual time that was set
will not change.
HOW TO SET THE TIMER |
Timer’s AC Outlets. (switched).
. Plug in the Power Cord to a household AC outlet and set
the Timer to the actual time. (See HOW TO SET THE
TIMER TO THE ACTUAL TIME.)
. Set the Power Mode Switch to ON and adjust the external
components (following the manufacturers’ instructions).
. Press the Turn On button, the Fast or Slow button and set
the time for the external components to turn on.
. Press the Turn Off button, the Fast or Slow button and set

REGLAGE DE LA MINUTERIE SUR
L’HEURE EXACTE
. Brancher le cordon secteur 4 ja sortie CA domestique.
. “AM 12:00” ou “0:00” clignotera sur l’affichage de I’heure
selon la position du sélecteur de l’affichage par 12 heures/
24 heures.
. Appuyer sur la touche de réglage de !’heure, puis appuyer
sur la touche “‘rapide’ ou “lent” et la tenir enfoncée
jusqu’a ce que I’heure actuelle apparaisse sur l'affichage.
. Appuyer sur la touche d‘affichage des secondes, puis sur
la touche de remise 4 zéro des secondes pour mettre les
secondes a zéro (afin de synchroniser la minuterie avec
I‘heure exacte).
. Appuyer sur la touche pendulette afin que méme au cas ot
la touche “rapide’’ ou “lent” est enfoncée accidentelle-
ment, I‘heure exacte qui a été réglée ne soit pas modifiée.
COMMENT REGLER LA MINUTERIE

Brancher les cordons secteur des composants extérieurs
aux sorties CA de ta minuterie.
Connecter le cordon secteur a une sortie CA domestique et
régler la minuterie sur ’heure exacte. (se référer 4 REGLA-
GE DE LA MINUTERIE SUR L’HEURE EXACTE).
. Mettre le commutateur de mode de puissance sous tension
et ajuster les composants extérieurs (en suivant les instruc-
tions données par le fabricant).
. Appuyer sur la touche de mise sous tension, la touche
“rapide” ou “lent” et régler I’heure a laquelle les compo-
sants extérieurs devront se mettre sous tension.
. Appuyer sur la touche de mise hors circuit, la touche
“rapide” ou “lent” et régler Iheure a laquelle les compo-
sants extérieurs devront se mettre hors circuit.
. Appuyer sur la touche pendulette.
. Mettre le sélecteur de mode de puissance sur minuterie.
En cas d‘initialisation de la minuterie avec |’appareil hors-
tension (OFF) placer le sélecteur de mode d’alimentation
sur OFF puis TIMER.

. SchlieRen Sie das Stromkabel an einen Haushaltwechsel-
strom-Ausgang an,
. Auf der Zeitanzeige wird je nach Stellung des 12 Stunden-/
24 Stundenanzeige-Wahlschalters “AM 12:00" oder ‘0:00
aufblinken.
. Driicken Sie die Zeiteinstell-Taste, und halten Sie die Lang-
sam- oder Schnell-Taste gedriickt, bis die aktuelle Zeit auf
der Zeitanzeige erscheint.
. Driicken Sie die Sekundenanzeige-Taste, dann die Sekun-
denriickstell-Taste, um die Sekunden auf Null zu stellen
(um den Timer auf die aktuelle Zeit abzustimmen).
. Driicken Sie die Uhr-Taste, damit die aktuelle Zeit, die
eingestelit wurde nicht andert, selbst wenn die Schnell-
oder Langsam-Taste unbeabsichtigt gedriickt wird.

SchlieRen Sie das Stromkabel des externen Gerates an die
Wechselstrom-Ausgange des Timers an.
Stecken Sie das Stromkabel in einen Haushaltwechselstrom-
Ausgang ein, und stellen Sie den Timer auf die aktuelle
Zeit ein. (Siehe EINSTELLEN DES TIMERS AUF DIE
AKTUELLE ZEIT.)
. Stetlen Sie den Netzbetriebsarten-WahIschalter auf ON, und
regulieren Sie die externen Gerdte (befolgen Sie die An-
weisungen des Herstellers),
. Driicken Sie die Einstetl-Taste und die Schnell- oder Lang-
sam-Taste, und stellen Sie die Einschaltzeit der externen
Gerdte ein.
. Driicken Sie die Ausschalt-Taste und die Schnell- oder Lang-
sam-Taste, und stellen Sie die Ausschaltzeit der externen
Gerate ein.
. Driicken Sie die Uhr-Taste.
. Stellen Sie den Netzbetriebsarten-Wahischalter auf TIMER.
Wenn Sie den Timer von OFF einschalten, stellen Sie den
Netzbetriebsarten-Schalter auf OFF und dann auf TIMER.

HOW TO SET THE TIME LiMIT |
1. Connect the external components to the Timer’s AC Out-
lets.
2. Plug in the Power Cord to a household AC outlet and set
the Timer to the actual time.
3. Set the Power Mode Switch to ON and adjust the external

components (follow the manufacturers’ instructions).
. Press the Time Limit Set Button, the Fast or Slow Button
and set the length of time the external components are to
be on (in other words after how long the external compo-
nents are to be turned off).
. Press the Clock Time Button.
Set the Power Mode Switch to OFF, then to TIMER.
To cancel the Timer Limit Set, set the time length to
0:00".
* Time Limit will take priority over the time set to turn off.

If you have made a mistake in any of the above (HOW TO SET
THE TIMER TO THE ACTUAL TIME, HOW TO SET THE
TIMER, HOW TO SET THE TIME LIMIT) repeat the whole
procedure.
BLACKOUTS
After a blackout, the Time Display will revert to flashing
“AM 12:00" or ‘0:00 Therefore reset the Timer after a
blackout.
To reconfirm the times set press the following buttons:

COMMENT REGLER LA LIMITE DU TEMPS

laquelle les composants extérieurs devront étre sous tension
{en d’autres mots, aprés combien de temps les composants
extérieurs devront étre mis hors circuit).
5. Appuyer sur fa touche pendulette.
6. Mettre le sélecteur de mode de puissance sur OFF, puis
TIMER.
* Régler la durée sur “0:00” pour annuler ta fonction de
réglage de la limite du temps.
* La fonction de limite du temps sera prioritaire sur I’heure
programmeée de mise hors circuit.
Répéter toutes les opérations au cas oli une erreur a été faite
dans le réglage (REGLAGE DE LA MINUTERIE SUR
L’HEURE EXACTE, COMMENT REGLER LA MINUTERIE,
COMMENT REGLER LA LIMITE DU TEMPS).
PANNES .DE COURANT
L’affichage de !’heure se remettra sur “AM 12:00” ou “0:00”
clignotant aprés une panne de courant. II est donc nécessaire
de reprogrammer la minuterie aprés une panne de courant.
Appuyer sur les touches suivantes afin de vérifier les heures
qui sont programmeées:

4. Driicken Sie die Zeitbegrenzungseinste!l-Taste und die Lang-
sam- oder Schnell-Taste, und stellen Sie die Zeitspanne ein,
wahrend der die externen Gerdte eingeschaltet sein sollen
(in anderen Worten, nach weicher Zeitspanne die externen
Ger&t ausgeschaltet werden solien).
5. Driicken Sie die Ubr-Taste.
6. Stellen Sie den Netzbetriebsarten-WahIschalter auf OFF und
dann auf TIMER.
Um die Zeitbegrenzungseinstellung zu ldschen, stellen Sie
die Zeitspanne auf “0:00.”
* Die Zeitbegrenzung hat den Vorrang vor der Ausschalt-
Zeiteinstellung.

Falls ihnen bei irgendeiner der obigen Ejinstellungen (EIN-
STELLEN DES TIMER AUF DIE AKTUELLE ZEIT, EIN-
STELLEN DES TIMERS, EINSTELLEN DER ZEITBEGREN-
ZUNG) ein Fehler unterlaufen ist, wiederholen Sie den ganzen
Vorgang.
STROMUNTERBRUCH
Nach einem Stromunterbruch wird die Zeitanzeige automatisch
auf ‘AM 12:00” oder “0:00” zuriickgestellt.
Stellen Sie den Timer deshalb nach einem Stromunterbruch
neu ein.
Um die eingesteliten Zeiten nochmals zu iiberpriifen, driicken
Sie die folgenden Tasten:
