To capture videos and photos, you need a memory card(sold separately). Please
use brand name memory cards that meet these requirements:
1. U3
2. Capacity up to 512GB (FAT32)
Warm Tip:
1. Please format the memory card in this camera before using it to ensure
compatibility.
2. Using a memory card with a capacity larger than what is required can lead to
complications such as failure to recognize the card. In addition, it may cause
camera malfunctions, including unresponsiveness and firmware failure.
3. To keep your memory card in good condition, please reformat it on a regular
basis. Reformatting erases all your content, so please make sure to offload your
photos and videos before reformatting. FAT32 format memory card will stop re-

The Brave 7 action camera is designed to be IPX8 waterproof without an external
case. So you can submerge it up to 8 meters or 26 feet deep. Nevertheless, it is
crucial to take necessary precautions to prevent any leakage. Before immersing
your Brave 7 action camera in water, ensure that all the protective covers are
rmly closed. You can begin your underwater adventure with peace of mind once
you hear a click, indicating that all the covers are securely sealed.

Notes:
1.The Brave 7 action camera is waterproof, though, it’s easy to form a conductive
layer on the touchscreen when there is moisture on it, resulting in screen drift or
multiple screen jumps, causing the touchscreen not to function properly
underwater. So we recommend you operate the camera underwater through
buttons. For instance, if you need to switch shooting modes, first make sure the
camera is on the preview screen, then press the Mode button. Tip: When the
camera is on the mode menu screen, you can press the Mode button again to
switch to another mode.
2. To avoid multiple screen jumps when using the camera underwater, we
recommend you lock the screen. To do this, simply tap on the Lock icon on the
quick menu. To unlock the screen, just tap on the Lock icon on the screen and
swipe the slider up.
3. If you want to dive into deep waters for optimal experience, please install your
Brave 7 action camera into the waterproof case in case it gets soaked.
Note: The camera will not record sound when it’s in the waterproof case.

Overheated Camera
The Brave 7 action camera is designed to detect overheating conditions and will
shut down when needed. A red icon stating "Temperature too high! The camera
will automatically shut down" will appear on the touchscreen if your camera
becomes too hot and needs to cool down. Consequently, the camera will power
off automatically. At this time, you will just need to let the camera idle and cool
before using it again.
Notes: 1. The Brave 8 Lite action camera operates within a temperature range
between -5℃ and 45℃ (23℉ and 113℉). Using the camera in excessively high or
low temperatures will affect its runtimes.
2. Capturing at a high resolution and frame rate will cause your camera to
consume more power and heat up much faster, especially in high temperatures.
In this case, try to shoot at a lower resolution and frame rate.
