GETTING STARTED
Welcome to your new EK7000. To capture video and photos, you need a memory
card (sold separately).
MEMORY CARDS
Use brand name memory cards that meet these requirements:
• Class 10 or UHS-I rating.
• Capacity up to 64GB (FAT32).

Note: Camera does not record sound when it is in the waterproof case.

Note: Please format the memory card first in this camera before using. To keep your
memory card in good condition, reformat it on a regular basis. Reformatting erases
all of your content, so be sure to offload your photos and videos first.
POWERING ON / OFF
To Power On:
Press and hold the Mode button for three seconds. The camera beeps while the
camera status light is on. When information appears on the LCD display or the
camera status screen, your camera is on.
To Power Off:
Press and hold the Mode button for three seconds. The camera beeps while the
camera status light is off.
SWITCHING MODE
To Switch Mode:
Press the Mode button to switch the mode.
To Exit Mode:
Press the Mode button to exit mode.
TURNING ON / OFF Wifi
To Turn On Wifi
Turn on camera, press Down button once. Wait for 3 seconds. The screen shows
‘SSID: iCam-xxxx’. Then you turn on Wifi successfully.
To Turn Off Wifi
Press Down button to turn off Wifi.

OVERVIEW OF MODES
There are 8 modes: Video, Photo, Video Playback, Photo Playback, Video Settings,
Photo Settings, General Settings and System Settings.
VIDEO MODE
Video Mode is the default mode when you turn on the camera.
In Video Mode, press Shutter button, the camera starts recording video.Press
Shutter button to stop recording video.
PHOTO MODE
Press Mode button once to switch to Photo Mode after you turn on camera. In
Photo Mode, press Shutter button, the camera takes a photo.

VIDEO PLAYBACK MODE
Press Mode button several times to switch to Video Playback Mode.
In Video Playback Mode, press the Up / Down button to scroll through the video files.
Press Shutter button to open video in full-screen view. Press and hold the Up button
for 3 seconds to delete the video.
PHOTO PLAYBACK MODE
Press Mode button several times to switch to Photo Playback Mode.
In Photo Playback Mode, press the Up / Down button to scroll through the Photo
files. Press Shutter button to open photo in full-screen view. Press and hold the Up
button for 3 seconds to delete the photo.

VIDEO SETTING
1. Video Resolution: 4K/30FPS, 2.7K/30FPS, 1080P/60FPS, 1080P/30FPS, 720P/
120FPS, 720P/60FPS
Default setting is 4K/30FPS.
Note: When capturing video at high resolutions or high frame rates in warm ambient
temperatures, the camera may become warm and use more power.
2. Loop Recording: Off / 1minute / 3 minutes / 5 minutes
Default setting is off.
The files will be saved every 3 MIN if you choose the 3 MIN option. When the
memory card is full, the new files will cover the old one if loop recording is on. If it is
off, the camera will not record anymore when the card is full. You will then need to
format the memory card or change to a new memory card.
PHOTO SETTING
1. Photo Resolution: 20M / 16M / 14M / 12M / 8M / 5M / 4M
Default setting is 20M.
2. Time Lapse Photo: Off / 1s / 2s / 5s / 10s / 30s / 60s .
Default setting is off.
Time Lapse Photo captures a series of photos at specified intervals. Use this mode
to capture photos of any activity, then choose the best ones later.
3. Self-Timer: Off / 2 Sec. / 5 Sec. / 10 Sec.
Default setting is off.
The self-timer provides a delay between pressing the shutter release and the picture
being taken.
4. Burst Photo: Off / 3 Photos / 5 Photos
Default setting is off.
In burst mode, several photographs are captured in quick succession.

GENERAL SETTING
1. Volume: 0-7
Default setting is 7.
Press Up button to turn up the volume.
Press Down button to turn down the volume.
2. Beep: On / Off
Default setting is on.
Sets the volume of your EK7000's alerts.
3. Exposure: 2 / 1.7 / 1.3 / 1 / 0.7 / 0.3 / 0 / -0.3 / -0.7 / -1 / -1.3 / -1.7 / -2
Default setting is 0.
By default, your camera uses the entire image to determine the appropriate
exposure level.
However, Exposure lets you select an area that you want the camera to prioritize
when determining exposure. This setting is particularly useful in shots where an
important region might otherwise be over- or underexposed.
When you change this setting, the LCD display immediately shows you the effect on
your image. If you change modes, the camera returns to using the entire scene to
determine the correct level of exposure.
SYSTEM SETTING
1. Language: English / Español / Deutsch / Italiano / Français /Português / Pусский /
Latviski / Poiski / Română / Slovenčina / Yкраїнський / 한국인 / Čeština / 简体中文 /
繁體中文 /日本語
Default setting is English.
Sets the language that appears on the camera.
2. Car Mode: On / Off
Default setting is off.
If you turn on car mode and connect camera with car cigarette lighter, the camera
will turn on automatically if you start your car and will turn off if you stop your car.

3. Power Off: Off / 1 Min. / 3 Min. / 5 Min.
Default setting is 3 minutes.
Powers off your Vision 4 Lite after a period of inactivity to save battery life.
4. Date & Time: YY / MM/ DD, HH / MM / SS
The date and time are automatically updated when you connect your camera to the
AKASO GO app. However, you can manually change these settings, if needed.
Note: If the battery is removed from the camera for an extended period of time, the
date and time will be reset automatically.
5. Date Format: YYYY MM DD, MM DD YYYY, DD MM YYYY
Default setting is MM DD YYYY.
If you turn on Date Stamp, this camera adds date stamp to the videos or photos you
take. If you select None, this camera will not add date stamp to the videos or photos
you take.
6. Frequence: 50 Hz/60 Hz
Default setting is 60 Hz.
7. Upside Down: On / Off
Default setting is off.
This setting determines the orientation of your video or photos to help you prevent
upside down footage.
8. Screen Saver: Off / 30 Sec. / 1 Min. / 3 Min.
Default setting is 1 minute.
Turns off the LCD display after a period of inactivity to save battery life. To turn on
the LCD display again, press any button on the camera.
9. Format: YES / NO
To keep your microSD card in good condition, reformat it on a regular basis.
Reformatting erases all of your content, so be sure to offload your photos and
videos first.
To reformat your card, press the mode button to enter system setting, then press
down button several times to enter Format > Format Card? > YES.

CONNECTING TO THE AKASO GO APP
The AKASO GO app lets you control your camera remotely using a smartphone or
tablet. Features include full camera control, live preview, playback , download,
settings, sharing of content, and camera software updates.
1. Open the AKASO GO app, tap the "Device" icon at the bottom of the screen, then
choose "Add device".
2. Choose "EK7000". Follow the instructions. Press the Down button to turn on the
Wifi. The Wifi name and password will be shown on the camera screen.
3. Check the "The above operation has been confirmed" at the bottom of the screen
and click "Next step".
4. Enter the correct Wifi name and password then click 'Connecting the camera'.
10. Reset: YES / NO
This option resets all settings to their default values.
11. FW Version: Brand / Model / Version / Updated
You can check the brand, model, version and updated time of your EK7000.
You can play back your content on the camera’s LCD display, your computer, TV, or
smartphone / tablet.
You can also play back content by inserting the memory card directly into a device,
such as a computer or compatible TV. With this method, playback resolution
depends on the resolution of the device and its ability to play back that resolution.
VIEWING VIDEOS AND PHOTOS ON YOUR EK7000
1. Enter Video or Photo playback mode. If your memory card contains a lot of
content, it might take a minute for it to load.
2. Press the Up / Down button to scroll through the video or photo files.
3. Press Shutter button to open video or photo in full-screen view.
4. To return to the thumbnails screen, press Mode button.
5. To exit the gallery, press Mode button.

1. Enter Video or Photo playback mode. If your memory card contains a lot of
content, it might take a minute for it to load.
2. Press the Up / Down button to locate the file you want to delete.
3. Press and hold the Up button for 3 seconds. The screen shows ‘Delete Selected
File?
YES / NO.
4. Press Shutter button, the selected file will be deleted.
DELETING VIDEOS AND PHOTOS ON YOUR EK7000
OFFLOADING YOUR CONTENT TO A COMPUTER
To play back your video and photos on a computer, you must first transfer these
files to a computer. Transferring also frees up space on your memory card for new
content.
To offload files to a computer using a card reader (sold separately) and your
computer’s file explorer, connect the card reader to the computer, then insert the
memory card. You can then transfer files to your computer or delete selected files
on your card. You can also offload files to a Windows computer using a USB cable.
Note: This camera does not support Mac computer.
OFFLOADING YOUR CONTENT TO SMARTPHONE OR TABLET
1. Open the ‘AKASO GO’ app.
2. Tap 'Folders' icon at the left corner of the bottom screen.
3. Tap 'Edit' icon at the right corner of the top screen.
4. Tap the files you want to save.
5. Tap 'Save' icon at the right corner of the bottom screen.

videos first.
1. Press and hold Mode button for 3 seconds to turn on the camera.
2. Press Mode button several times to enter System Setting.
3. Press Down button to find the ‘Format’ option.
4. Press Shutter button, the screen shows ‘Format Card? All data will be deleted.
5. Press Shutter button again. You format your memory card successfully.
Follow these guidelines to get the best performance from your camera:
1. For best audio performance, shake the camera or blow on the mic to remove
debris from the microphone holes.
2. To clean the lens, wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not insert foreign objects
around the lens.
3. Don’t touch the lens with fingers.
4. Keep the camera away from drops and bumps, which may cause damage to the
parts inside.
5. Keep the camera away from high temperature and strong sunshine to avoid being
damaged.
If the battery reaches 0% while recording, the camera saves the file and powers off.
To maximize battery life, follow these guidelines when possible:
• Turn off Wireless Connections
• Capture video at lower frame rates and resolutions
• Use Screen Saver setting.

• The camera contains sensitive components, including the battery. Avoid exposing
your camera to very cold or very hot temperatures. Low or high temperature
conditions may temporarily shorten the battery life or cause the camera to
temporarily stop working properly.
• Avoid dramatic changes in temperature or humidity when using the camera, as
condensation may form on or within the camera.
• Do not dry the camera or battery with an external heat source such as a
microwave oven or hair dryer. Damage to the camera or battery caused by contact
with liquid inside the camera is not covered under the warranty.
• Do not store your battery with metal objects, such as coins, keys or necklaces. If
the battery terminals come in contact with metal objects, this may cause a fire.
• Do not make any unauthorized alterations to the camera. Doing so may
compromise safety, regulatory compliance, performance, and may void the
warranty.
WARNING: Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred,
microwave, incinerate or paint the camera or battery. Do not insert foreign objects
into the battery opening on the camera. Do not use the camera or the battery if it
has been damaged-for example, if cracked, punctured or harmed by water.
Disassembling or puncturing the battery can cause an explosion or fire.

VIDEO
To record Video, verify the camera is in Video mode.
To start recording:
Press the Grey Video Button. The camera will emit one beep and the camera light
will flash while recording.
To stop recording:
Press the Grey Video Button again. The camera will emit one beep and the camera
light will stop flashing while recording.
PHOTO
To capture a photo, verify the camera is in Photo mode.
To take a photo:
Press the Red Photo Button. The camera will emit a camera shutter sound.
