PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Die verschiedenen Kupplungsteile der Zugdeich-
sel verbinden das Zugfahrzeug mit dem Rahmen
des Anhängers. Das zulässige Gesamtgewicht ist
auf dem Typenschild eingeprägt, dass an der Zu-
deichsel angebracht ist.
Das zulässige Gesamtgewicht des Anhängers
darf diesen Wert nicht überschreiten.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Zugdeichsel darf nur komplett montiert und
geprüft zur Verbindung des Anhängers mit dem
Zugfahrzeug verwendet werden.
Jede weitere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestim-
mungsgemäß und ist untersagt.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
ACHTUNG!
Gefahr!
Vor allen Wartungs- und Pflegearbeiten
den Anhänger immer mit Unterlegkeilen
sichern.
Der Anbau an das Fahrzeug muss den
Anforderungen bezüglich höhenverstellbarer
Stützeinrichtung (Stützrad) bei Stützlast grö-
ßer 50 kg, gemäß 94/20/EG, Anhang VII, bzw.
ECE R55-01 Anhang 7 genügen.
Eventuell vorhandene Aufbaurichtlinien be-
rücksichtigen.
Der Handbremshebel darf im Notfall nicht auf-
setzen. Entsprechende Freiräume beachten

Standbremse - Handbremse
Zum Abstellen des Anhängers ist ein Handbrems-
hebel angebracht.
Handbremse betätigen - lösen
Handbremse betätigen
1. Handbremse immer kräftig über den Totpunkt
anziehen.
Wird der Anhänger vom Zugfahrzeug abge-
kuppelt, muss:
die Feststellbremse angezogen werden.
der Anhänger mit zwei zusätzlichen Un-
terlegkeilen gesichert werden.
Beim Parken oder Abstellen des Gespan-
nes die Feststellbremse des Anhängers an-
ziehen.

ACHTUNG!
Bis die volle Bremskraft wirkt, kann der
Anhänger 25 - 30 cm zurückrollen! Beim
Abstellen des Anhängers auf ausrei-
chenden Abstand achten.
ACHTUNG!
Achten Sie bei der Betätigung der Fest-
stellbremse auf eine korrekte Funktion.
Eine nicht-korrekte Funktion kann sich bemerkbar
machen durch:
merklichen Kraftverlust
ruckelnde Bewegung des Handbremshebels
schwergängige Feststellbremse
lose Bauteile
Bei Handbremshebeln mit Gasfederunterstüt-
zung zusätzlich durch:
sichtbare Korrosion oder Beschädigung der
Gasdruckfeder-Kolbenstange
sichtbaren Ölverlust der Gasdruckfeder
Handbremse lösen
1. Handbremshebel in Ausgangsstellung zu-
rückstellen
der Totpunkt ist deutlich spürbar.
Abreißseil befestigen
Sicherheit
Das Abreißseil immer so anbringen, dass
Kurvenfahrten problemlos möglich sind.
Das Abreißseil darf sich während der Fahrt
nicht um das Stützrad wickeln.
Spezielle länderspezifischen Vorgaben be-
rücksichtigen.

ACHTUNG!
Nicht bei abnehmbarer Anhängekupp-
lung anwenden! Wird die Kupplung nicht
korrekt eingerastet, drohen Verlust von
Kupplung und Anhänger.
1. Schlingen Sie das Abreißseil um den Kugel-
hals.
2. Klinken Sie den Karabiner am Seil ein.
Variante 1 (6)
1. Schlingen Sie den Karabiner durch die vorge-
sehene Öse am Zugfahrzeug.
2. Klinken Sie den Karabiner am Seil ein.
Variante 2 (7)
ACHTUNG!
Nur zulässig mit Karabinerhaken nach
DIN 5299 - min.70 mm (Feuerwehrkara-
biner).
1. Klinken Sie den Karabiner in die dafür vorge-
sehene Öse ein.
Vorschriften Niederlande siehe Abbildung 8
WARTUNG
alle 10000 - 15000 km oder alle 12 Monate
Gleit- und Gelenkstellen schmieren bzw. ölen
(siehe Abb. 9).
Schmierstoff-Typ: Mehrzweckfett nach DIN 51825

Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur kompe-

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The various hitch components of the drawbar con-
nect the tractor vehicle to the trailer frame. The
gross vehicle weight rating is stamped onto the
type plate attached to the drawbar.
The gross weight rating of the trailer is not allowed
to exceed this value.
Designated use
The drawbar is only allowed to be used when
completely assembled and after having been
tested. It must be used for connecting the trailer
to the towing vehicle.
Any other use is regarded as not in accordance
with the intended use, and is prohibited.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION!
Danger!
Always secure the trailer with chocks
prior to performing any maintenance and
care jobs.
The attachment to the vehicle must be in ac-
cordance with the requirements for height-
adjustable landing gear (support wheel) with
an imposed load greater than 50 kg, acc. to
94/20/EC, Appendix VII, or ECE R55-01 Ap-
pendix 7.
Pay attention to any body builder guidelines
that are provided.
The handbrake lever is not allowed to make
contact in an emergency. Pay attention to the
corresponding clearances (4)!

Additional equipment
Standard brake - hand brake
For trailer parking is a hand brake lever installed.
Applying/releasing the handbrake
Applying the handbrake
1. Always pull the handbrake firmly past the
dead centre point.
If the trailer is uncoupled from the towing ve-
hicle, then the following must be done:
the parking brake must be engaged.
the trailer must be secured with two addi-
tional chocks.
When parking or laying up the vehicle/trai-
ler combination, engage the trailer's parking
brake.

CAUTION!
The trailer may roll back 25 to 30 cm un-
til the full force of the brake takes effect!
When laying up the trailer, ensure suffi-
cient clearance.
CAUTION!
When you apply the parking brake en-
sure that it functions correctly.
Incorrect function may be noticeable by the follo-
wing:
Noticeable loss of force
The handbrake lever does not move smoothly
The handbrake is difficult to move
Loose components
On handbrake levers with gas spring support also
by the following:
Visible corrosion or damage to the gas spring
piston rod
Visible oil loss from the gas springs
Releasing the handbrake
1. Return the handbrake lever to its initial posi-
tion
The dead centre point can clearly be felt.
Attaching the breakaway cable
Safety
Always attach the breakaway cable so that
cornering is possible without problems.
The breakaway cable is not allowed to wind
itself around the support wheel whilst driving.
Take account of special regulations in specific
countries.

CAUTION!
Do not use with a removable tow hitch! If
the hitch is not engaged correctly, there
is a risk that the hitch and trailer could be
lost.
1. Loop the breakaway cable around the ball
neck.
2. Clip the snap hook onto the cable.
Variant 1 (6)
1. Insert the snap hook through the eye provided
on the towing vehicle.
2. Clip the snap hook onto the cable.
Variant 2 (7)
CAUTION!
Only permitted with snap hook acc. to
DIN 5299 - min. 70 mm (fire brigade snap
hook).

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Every 10.000 – 15.000 km or every 12 month
The slide surfaces and bearing areas need to
be greased and oiled. (see figure 9).

Repair work may only be carried out by
competent specialist workshops or our
AL-KO Service Centres.
