Features
The LPD Two-Way Radio is a lightweight, palm-sized radio that you can carry almost
anywhere. Use it at shopping malls, amusement parks, or sports events to contact family and
friends, or in a neighborhood watch for vital communications.
The radio has 32 channels. You can talk with other LPD radio users whose radios are turned
to the same channel as yours. With the auto-squelch feature, you will not hear any anything
until the sound quality is reasonably clear.
The radio is equipped with VOX operation. i.e. you can simply talk to the microphone and
the voice will be transmitted to your companion automatically. When operating with external
microphone and earbud (not included), you can communicate with your friends without
pressing a key. This hand-free feature is very useful when you are driving or cycling.

VOX Operation
Traditionally, you should press and hold PTT key during conversation and release it after
conversation so as not to occupy the channel. With the VOX operation mode, the voice
transmission is started automatically once you speak at the microphone and stopped after
speaking. This is very helpful when you are driving, jogging or cycling.
Notes: In VOX mode, PTT key is disabled and voice transmission is triggered by user’s
conversation.
Channel Selection
You can select any channel out of 32 available channels from the DIP SWITCH NO. 1-5.
Please see the following Frequency Table for the corresponding dip switch setting
