HOW TO OPERATE THE BC-06:

• Take the thermometer (duck) from the base
(the foot of the duck), it will power on auto-
matically. If you put the thermometer back on
the base, it will power off.
• When it is powered on, a short ‘Bi’ signal
will be heard and all the symbols will be
turned on for two seconds. Then the symbol
ºC will flash to indicate that the thermometer
is ready to measure the water temperature.
• The LCD display shows the real present
temperature during the measurement.
• If the measured temperature is lower than
0ºC, the LCD will show LºC. If the measured
temperature is higher than 60ºC ,
than the LCD will show H ºC.
• If the measured temperature is
between 36ºC en 39ºC, the word
BATH will light.
• If the measure temperature is higher than
39ºC, the buzzer will alarm for 45 seconds
and the LCD will show HOT. If the measured
temperature becomes lower than 39ºC during
this 45 seconds, the warning alarm will stop.
• After measuring, please turn off
the thermometer (duck) by
placing it on the foot of the duck
(the duck will be switched off
after 30 minutes anyhow).
You might switch of on again by placing the duck
on its foot and take it of again.
• When the battery flag “ “ starts to flash, the battery
is getting low and the measurement may not be accurate.
In this case please do not use the duck anymore to
measure the water temperature.
WARNINGS:
• The BC-06 is not a toy. Please only use it under the direct
supervision of an adult.
• Do not depose the duck in fire as the built-in battery may
explode.
• Do not drop the unit, it is not shock proof.
• Do not attempt to sterilize with heat or by boiling.
• Do not store the unit in direct sunlight or at a high
temperature.
• Do no bend or bite or pull the unit.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the unit.
• Do not access the magnet with other magnetic sensitivity
card or products.
• Do not use alcohol to clean the LCD display. Please only
clean with water.
• At the end of the product lifecycle, you should not
throw this product into the normal household gar-
bage but bring the product to a collection point for
the recycling of electrical and electronic equipments.

ticket with the BC-06.
HOW TO ACT:
If you notice a defect, consult the manual first. If this manual
gives you no definite answer, consult your dealer with a clear
description of your complaint. He will collect the device toge-
ther with this guarantee card and the dated purchase ticket
and he will take care of a prompt repair, respectively free
sending to the importer.
THE GUARANTEE EXPIRES:
When used inexpert, faulty connections, leaking and faulty
placed batteries, use of unoriginal parts or accessories,
negligence and defects caused by fire, flood, stroke of light-
ning and natural disasters. With unqualified modifications or
repairs by third persons. With incorrect transport without a
suitable packing. If the device is not handed in with the cor-
rect filled in guarantee card and the purchase ticket.
