SPORT FUNCTION
The vehicle is equipped with a system
that allows the choice between two dri-
ving styles: normal and sports.
Pressing the SPORT button fig 1 pro-
duces a sports driving setting featuring
greater responsiveness during accelera-
tion.
This function produces:
– a more lively response by the engine;
– increased sensitivity of the accelera-
tor pedal to the supply of power.
This function is especially useful if max-
imum performance is required, for ex-
ample when overtaking.
The LED in the SPORT button lights up
when the function is on. Press the but-
ton again to turn the function off and re-
store the normal driving setting.
IMPORTANT during acceleration,
when the SPORT function is in use, it
is possible to feel steering judder, which
is typical of this sporty setting.
ACCELERATION
Accelerating violently increasing the revs
will greatly affect consumption and emis-
sions: to contain fuel consumption ac-
celeration should be gradual.
Using the SPORT function, fuel con-
sumption will be slightly higher.

Check tyre conditions/wear and adjust pressure if necessary
Check operation of lighting system (headlights, direction indicators, hazard
warning lights, boot, passenger compartment, glovebox lights, warning lights, etc..)
Check operation of windscreen washer system, adjust spray jets
Check position/wear of windscreen/rearscreen wiper blades
Check operation of front disk brake pad wear indicator
Check wear conditions of rear disk brake pads
Sight check the conditions of: body exterior, underbody protection,
stiff pipes and hoses (exhaust - fuel supply - brakes), rubber parts
(boots - sleeves - bushes etc.)
Sight check boot and bonnet lock cleaning conditions, lever cleaning and lubrication
Sight check for accessory drive belt conditions
Check handbrake lever stroke adjustment
Change air cleaner cartridge
Top up fluid levels (engine coolant, brakes, windscreen washer, battery, etc..)

Sight check for conditions of timing gear drive toothed belt

Authorized Services for the suitable product of the Selenia range.
In emergency situations when genuine products are unavailable, lubricants with at least ACEA B4 performance are allowed. However, engine
optimum performance is not guaranteed. We recommend to have the products replaced with the appropriate genuine lubricants by the Alfa Romeo
Authorized Services, as soon as possible.
Use of products with low-quality properties than ACEA B4 could cause damages to the engine that are not covered by the warranty.
