VHF/UHF FM WINBAND
HANDHELD TRANSCEIVER
This compact transceiver, with its industry leading ergonomic design,
excellent audio and sensitivity, is packed with expanded features
offering you non-stop performance. The ALLNCO DJ-582 comes
standard with Airband Receive, *

Super Low Battery Consumption Function (Alinco Patent
Pending)
IS
Battery Consumption ISautomatically activated. Though the output
power and sensitlvlty decreases, you can operate the W-582 until the power
level drops below 3.8 volts
(This feature IS available wrth dry cell batteries only.)
Full Duplex and Dual Watch Function
The DJ-582 can recetve both UHF&VHF at the same time. And also is capable
of receiving on one band while transmrtting on the other.
Independent VHF and UHF Controls
VHF & UHF have separate control knobs for volume and squelch. The LCD
displays both bands srmultaneously.
DSQ (DTMF Squelch) Function
The DTMF code squelch and pagrng functions (DSQ) are standard with the
DJ-582.
Scanning Features (8 Scanning Modes)
The DJ-582 has four disttnct scannrng operations. Each can be programmed
for Busy Scan (stop and wart on the first detected busy frequency), and Trme
Scan (stop for 5 seconds on the frrst detected busy frequency).
Memory Channels
Each Memory Channel can store any sub-audible tone and odd offset
(O-15.995MHz) wrth + or - offset directron.
Tone Squelch is standard with the DJ-582T (optional accessory for
W582E).
