Instructions
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Keep the product out of the reach of small children, as it contains small parts which could
be swallowed. This product should not be used by individuals unable to determine when
the temperature is too hot or too cold. Small children are more sensitive to hot and cold.
Certain illnesses, e.g. diabetes, can cause impaired temperature sensitivity. Persons with
disabilities or inrm persons might not be able to communicate that they are too warm
or too cold. Therefore the product is not suitable for children under the age of three, the
inrm or individuals insensitive to heat. If in doubt or if you have cardiovascular problems
consult your doctor before using the product. Only use the original recharger supplied
with the product for charging the batteries. It has been designed for indoor use only and
should not be exposed to moisture. Alpenheat products are not compatible with one
another or with products from other manufacturers, so never use chargers, heaters or
battery packs from other products. Do not insert metal or other objects into the connection
sockets or plug as this can damage the product. If you notice that the connection cables
or any other parts are damaged, do not use the product. Do not make any changes to the
product and do not use it for any purpose other than intended.

Cutting the insole to size:
- Follow the instructions on the insole. Do not cut the heating element or cable.
The cutting marks serve as a guide. (Figure 2)
For shoes/boots with loose insoles:
- Take the insole out of the shoe/boot and place it on the back of the Alpenheat insole, cut
the Alpenheat insole to size.
For shoes/boots where the insole cannot be taken out:
- Put one foot on the back of the Alpenheat insole. Cut insole along sides and heel. We
recommend that you rst cut insole slightly larger than required.
- Put the insoles into the shoes/boots with the coloured material side, i.e. the heating side,
facing up. (Figure3 )
Battery pack with push button switch and LEDs
Charging batteries (Figure 4):
The battery packs have be charged before each use.
Batteries only reach their full capacity after having been charged several times.
To achieve the full capacity, proceed as follows:
1. Completely discharge the batteries. Connect the cables of the insoles/heating elements
to the battery packs and turn on the heat on setting 3. The batteries are discharged
when the heating elements are cold.

2. When the batteries are completely discharged, connect the battery packs to the Y
cables of the recharger. Plug the recharger into a power outlet. Charge both battery
packs at the same time for about 12 hours. During charging make sure the batteries
are turned off.
3. During charging:
the LEDs on the recharger will shine red and the LEDs on the battery packs will shine
green. The batteries are completely charged after 12 hours. There is no optical sign,
the LEDs still shine red on the charger and green on the battery packs.
When using the batteries for the rst time or if they have not been used for a long time,
they should be discharged and charged as described above in item 1 + 2.
Plug the recharger into a standard household outlet. Do not use the recharger near
sources of moisture. If you are travelling make sure the power is on and that the power to
that outlet is not turned off with the light switch, as is customary in some hotel rooms. A
shaver outlet is not suitable and should not be used.
It is normal for the recharger to get warm whilst charging.
Charge the batteries at an ambient temperature between 10° - 35° C / 50° - 95° F. The
storage temperature should not exceed 50° C / 122° F otherwise the batteries could be
damaged.
EXCHANGE OF BATTERIES
The NiMH batteries can be recharged up to 500 times. After some years the batteries
might no longer have their full capacity, the batteries can be exchanged for any
commercial AA batteries of any manufacturer.
1. Unscrew the screw on the bottom of the battery pack. (Figure 5)
2. To open the lid, slide it open. (Figure 6)
3. Remove the batteries and dispose of them appropriately, see the instructions “Disposal
of Product”.
4. Put 4 AA batteries in each battery pack (batteries or rechargeable NiCd/NiMH batteries)
5. Close the battery pack rmly, by sliding the lid onto the battery pack. Make sure that
the lid is completely closed.
6. Secure the lid on with the screw on the bottom of the battery pack.
BATTERY CARE
Excessive charging is prevented by the charging control in the battery pack.
Occasional insufcient recharging (less than 12 hours) does not harm the batteries.
However, frequent insufcient charging over a period of weeks does result in a reduction
of the performance capacity. Completely charge the batteries to increase the performance
capacity.
Completely discharging the batteries insures extremely efcient utilization. If this is not
done regularly, the charging capability will also be impaired. To increase the performance
capacity of the batteries, completely charge them, and completely discharge them.
Charging can be interrupted. However, the longer the interruption e.g. a week or a month,
the more important it is to completely discharge and charge the batteries as
recommended.
Fully charge the batteries every 3-4 months to prolong the battery life.

LED CONTROL LIGHTS ON THE BATTERY PACK
Setting 1 – 1 LED shines red

To turn on/off or to change the setting, press the push button until the respective number
of LEDs shine.
The LED’s do not shine or only shine dimly, when the batteries are completely discharged
or if the battery pack is turned off.

GETTING STARTED
Make sure that the insoles, heating elements and cables are not bent.
1. Insert the insoles. (Figure 7) Cut the insoles to the size required or attach the heating
elements to custom insoles as described above. Place the heated insoles/custom
insoles into the shoes/boots.
2. Route the cables. The cable should run from the underside of the insole towards the
back, along the heel and up the calf. In ski boots, it is better to run the cable up
between the inner boot and the outer shell. Cut a slit at the back of the inner boot in the
heel area and run the cable through (Figure 8). Take care that the cable does not
chafe against the hard shell material. Also make sure that the cable is not
over-stretched during the forward motion of the inner boot within the outer shell. This
can be avoided by leaving an adequately long cable loop outside the boot. (Figure 9)
To shorten a cable that is too long, the cable can be looped several times and fastened
in the middle with adhesive tape. Cables must not be sharply bent.
3. Attach the battery packs and connect. Connect the cables to the battery packs.

A. Clips for attaching to straps and belts
1. Slip clip over strap or belt. (Figure 11). In order to attach securely, screw
the clip to the belt using the screw provided.
2. Insert battery pack into the clip holster. Battery pack will snap into place
and will be held securely by spring load retainers. (Figure 12)
3. Remove battery pack by pressing retainer button with 2 ngers whilst
lifting battery pack upwards. (Figure 13)
B. Mounting brackets for ski boots and other rigid plastic boots (bolt-on):
1. Drill a hole with a diameter of 5 mm / 0.2 inch in the outer shell of the
boot. (Figure 14)
2. Insert anti-swivel drive-in nut from inside of the boot into the hole.
(Figure 15)
3. Place the lock washer onto the hole from the outside of the boot.
4. Bolt on the mounting bracket with screw M4 (select the proper length for
your boot, L=10mm/0.4inch or L=16mm/0.64inch), and fasten tightly with
screwdriver. (Figure 16)
5. Insert battery pack into the clip holster. Battery pack will snap into place
and will be held securely by spring load retainers. (Figure 17)
6. Remove battery pack by pressing retainer button with 2 ngers whilst
lifting battery pack upwards.(Figure 18)
USE
The bootheaters can be used in all types of sturdy shoes/boots and are designed so that
they can easily be removed and used in any other shoe/boot.
Should the insoles get wet, let them dry out completely. This prolongs their life cycle.
Comfort bootheaters provide comfortable and continuous warmth for your feet. Do not
allow your feet to get cold in the rst place, because more energy will be required to warm
them up, than if you had turned the heat on right at the beginning.
Warm up shoes/boots before putting them on by turning the battery packs on at setting 3
for 5 minutes.
Turn the heat on at setting 1 right from the start to maintain comfortable warmth. In cold
weather you might not feel the heat, but your feet will stay comfortably warm. The setting
should not be too high in order to prevent sweating, which cools the feet.
It may be necessary to use setting 2 as the basic setting to generate comfortable warmth
in very cold weather.
FEATURES - TECHNICAL DATA:
Heating Element:
Large sized heating element 43 cm² for the forefoot.
Flexible and durable: the heating element consists of heavy-duty layers of material which
have been welded together. Developed especially to full the combination of bending and
pressure requirements of shoes/boots.
Standard AH8: Robust wire heating element
Plug:
The heavy-duty plug of the cable which connects to the battery pack has been specially
developed for sports and outdoor use. The plug is designed so that it plugs in easily, but
is secured against unintentional unplugging by a retaining mechanism.
Temperature and Heat Duration:
The following temperature and heating times are approximate values. The actual
performance depends on how the batteries were charged, the duration of the charging
process and on the various tolerances of the batteries and microcontrollers. The heating
times are guide values and apply for an outside temperature of –18° C / 0° F.

DISPOSAL OF PRODUCT
This product must be disposed of according to the prevailing guidelines for disposing of
used electrical and electronic appliances
The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product must not be
treated as household waste, but must be disposed of at a collection point for the recycling
of electrical and electronic appliances.
The product contains NiMH batteries. These must not be taken apart, thrown into a re
or short-circuited. The batteries must be disposed of properly. Appropriate containers for
battery disposal are available in shops that sell batteries, as well as at municipal waste
collection places.
By your contribution to the correct disposal of this product you are helping to protect the
environment and the health of your fellow mankind. Human health and the environment
are endangered by inappropriate waste disposal. Recycling helps to reduce the
consumption of raw materials.
ALPENHEAT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT OR
INJURY TO THE USER CAUSED BY MISUSE OF THE PRODUCT.
MANUFACTURER´S LIMITED GUARANTEE
ALPENHEAT guarantees that this product is free from defects in material or
workmanship. The guarantee period starts on the date on which the product was rst
purchased by an end customer. In the case of repairs or exchange, the guarantee period
is neither extended nor does it begin anew. Should a defect occur during the guarantee
period, the product has to be immediately returned to an authorized ALPENHEAT dealer,
together with the corresponding dated purchase invoice. Within the guarantee period
ALPENHEAT will at their sole decision repair or exchange the product.
EXCLUSION AND LIMITATIONS
Batteries or battery packs are excluded from the guarantee. ALPENHEAT gives no
guarantee for damages caused by accidents, negligence or improper use. Furthermore,
textile wear, change of appearance, any product modication, damage to the product are
also excluded from the guarantee. The manufacturer’s limited guarantee does not affect
statutory warranty rights. If the defect is detected after the manufacturer’s limited
guarantee has expired or it is not covered by this guarantee or there is no purchase
invoice provided, ALPENHEAT reserves the right to determine and suggest which steps
be taken (repair or exchange at the expense of the customer) at ALPENHEAT’s sole
discretion.

Sicherheitshinweise

auf. Der Artikel darf nicht verwendet werden, wenn eine Person Wärme oder Kälte nicht
richtig wahrnehmen kann. Kleine Kinder reagieren empndlicher auf Wärme und Kälte.
Bestimmte Krankheiten, wie z.B. Diabetis können mit Temperatur- Empndungsstörungen
einhergehen. Menschen mit körperlicher Beeinträchtigung oder Gebrechliche können evtl.
nicht bemerkbar machen, wenn es ihnen zu warm oder zu kalt wird. Verwenden Sie den

Zuschneiden der Standard Einlagesohlen AH8:
- Beachten Sie die Hinweise auf der Sohle. Schneiden Sie auf keinen Fall innerhalb des
Heizelements oder des Kabels. Die Schneidmarkierungen dienen als Orientierung.

- Bei Schuhen mit herausnehmbarem Fußbett:
Legen Sie das herausnehmbare Fußbett auf die Rückseite der Heizsohle und schneiden
Sie die Heizsohle auf die Größe des Fußbettes zu.
- Bei Schuhen ohne herausnehmbares Fußbett:
Stellen sie einen Fuß auf die Rückseite der Heizsohle. Schneiden Sie die Heizsohle
entlang der Seiten und der Ferse zu. Es empehlt sich die Sohle zunächst etwas größer
als benötigt zuzuschneiden.
- Beim Einlegen in die Schuhe muss die farbige Gewebeseite, d.h. die beheizte Seite,
nach oben weisen (Bild 3).

ALPENHEAT Akkupack mit Druckknopf und LED Anzeige
AKKUS AUFLADEN (Bild 4):
Die Akkupacks müssen vor jedem Gebrauch aufgeladen werden.
Akkus haben nicht von Anfang an ihre volle Ladekapazität. Ein Akku erreicht erst nach
mehrmaligem Laden seine volle Kapazität. Um die volle Ladekapazität der Akkus zu er-
reichen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor.
1. Entladen Sie die Akkus vollständig, indem Sie die Anschlusskabel der Heizsohlen /
Heizelemente an die Akkupacks anschließen und das Akkupack auf Stufe 3 schalten.
Die Akkus sind leer, wenn die Heizelemente kalt werden.
2. Nachdem die Akkus vollständig entladen sind. Schließen Sie die Akkupacks an das
Y-Kabel des Ladegeräts an, stecken das Ladegerät in die Steckdose und laden beide
Akkupacks gleichzeitig ca.12 Stunden auf. Der Akkupack muss während des gesamten
Ladevorgangs ausgeschaltet sein.
3. Während des Ladevorgangs:
LED am Ladegerät leuchten rot und LED am Akkupack leuchten grün
Die Akkus sind nach ca. 12 Stunden vollgeladen. Es gibt keine optische Anzeige! Die
LEDs leuchten nach wie vor rot bzw. grün.
Wenn Sie die Akkus das erste Mal in Betrieb nehmen bzw. längere Zeit nicht benutzt
haben, sollten die Akkus wie bei Punkt 1. & 2. entladen und geladen werden.
Stecken Sie das Ladegerät in eine Standard-Wandsteckdose. Verwenden Sie es nicht
in der Nähe von Feuchtquellen. Wenn Sie unterwegs sind, achten Sie darauf, dass die
Steckdose mit Strom versorgt wird und nicht wie z.B. in einigen Hotelzimmern üblich, mit
dem Lichtschalter ausgeschaltet werden kann. Rasierersteckdosen sind ungeeignet.
Das Ladegerät wird während des Auadens warm, dies ist normal.
Laden Sie die Akkus bei einer Umgebungstemperatur vom 10° - 35 ° Celsius / 50° - 95°
Fahrenheit. Die Temperatur des Aufbewahrungsortes darf 50° Celsius / 122° Fahrenheit
nicht übersteigen, da die Akkus sonst beschädigt würden.
WECHSELN DER AKKUS
Die Akkus sind bis zu 500mal wiederauadbare NiMH Akkus. Sollten die Akkus jedoch
nach einigen Jahren Ihre Kapazität nicht mehr halten, können diese gegen handelsübli-
che AA-Batterien beliebiger Herstellermarke ausgetauscht werden:
1. Lösen Sie die Schraube auf der Unterseite des Akkupacks (Bild 5).
2. Öffnen Sie den Verschlussdeckel ,indem Sie diesen nach unten schieben (Bild 6).
3. Entfernen Sie die eingelegten Akkus und entsorgen Sie diese sachgerecht siehe
Kapitel „Artikel entsorgen“.
4. Legen Sie in jedes Akkupack 4 Stück AA Batterien oder wiederauadbare NiCd/NiMH
Batterien ein.
5. Verschließen Sie die Akkupacks, indem Sie den Verschlussdeckel nach oben schieben.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Verschlussdeckel nach Einlegen der Akkus vollständig
geschlossen ist.
6. Fixieren Sie den Verschlussdeckel mit der Schraube an der Unterseite des Akkupacks.
HINWEISE ZUR AKKU PFLEGE
Ein übermäßiges Auaden der Akkus wird durch die Ladesteuerung im Akkupack
verhindert. Ein gelegentliches zu geringes Auaden (weniger als 12 Stunden) beschädigt
die Akkus nicht. Häuges zu geringes Auaden über Wochen hinaus führt zu einer
Herabsetzung der Leistungsfähigkeit. Um diese zu erhöhen, die Akkus vollständig
auaden. Ein vollständiges Entladen der Akkus gewährleistet eine äußerst efziente

Verwendung. Geschieht dies nicht regelmäßig, wird auch das Wiederauaden
beeinträchtigt. Um die Leistungsfähigkeit zu erreichen, die Akkus vollständig auf- und
entladen. Ein Wiederauadevorgang kann unterbrochen werden. Je länger jedoch die
Unterbrechung dauert, z.B. eine Woche oder einen Monat, umso wichtiger ist es, den
empfohlenen Entlade-/Ladevorgang durchzuführen.
Der Akku muss mindestens einmal im Zeitraum von 3-4 Monaten aufgeladen
werden! Bei Nichtbenutzen des Akkus kühl und trocken lagern.
LED – Kontrollleuchten am Akkupack:
Stufe 1 – 1 LED leuchtet rot
Stufe 2 – 2 LED leuchten rot
Stufe 3 – 3 LED leuchten rot
Die LEDs leuchten nicht oder nur schwach, wenn die Akkus vollständig entladen sind oder
wenn das Akkupack ausgeschaltet ist.
Druckknopfbetätigung: Funktion und Einstellstufen
Stufe 1
Bei ausgeschaltetem Akkupack drücken Sie den Druckknopf 1x um Stufe 1 einzuschalten.
1 LED leuchtet rot und zeigt das Stufe 1 aktiv ist.
Stufe 2
Bei ausgeschaltetem Akkupack drücken Sie den Druckknopf 2x um Stufe 2 einzuschalten.
2 LED leuchtet rot und zeigt das Stufe 2 aktiv ist.
Stufe 3
Bei ausgeschaltetem Akkupack drücken Sie den Druckknopf 3x um Stufe 3 einzuschalten.
3 LED leuchtet rot und zeigt das Stufe 3 aktiv ist.
Um innerhalb der Stufen zu wechseln, drücken Sie jeweils noch einmal den Druckknopf
des Akkupacks.
Abschalten der Heizung:
Aus Stufe1: 3x Druckknopf drücken zum Ausschalten der Heizung. LEDs sind danach
erloschen.
Aus Stufe 2: 2x Druckknopf drücken zum Ausschalten der Heizung. LEDs sind danach
erloschen.
Aus Stufe 3: 1x Druckknopf drücken zum Ausschalten der Heizung. LEDs sind danach
erloschen.
INBETRIEBNAHME:
Sohlen und Leitungen dürfen nicht geknickt werden!
1. Sohle einlegen (Bild 7)
Legen Sie die zuvor zugeschnittenen Standardsohlen oder Maßeinlagen mit Heizele
ment in die Schuhe ein.
2. Anschlussleitungen verlegen
Die Anschlussleitung sollte von der Unterseite der Einlegesohle nach hinten über die
Ferse entlang an der Wade hoch geführt werden.
Bei Skischuhen die Leitung durch ein Loch im Innenschuh ziehen und zwischen Innen-
und Außenschuh hochführen (Bild 8). Dabei muss sorgfältig darauf geachtet
werden, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht gegen das harte Schalenmaterial scheuert,
um eine Beschädigung der Leitung zu vermeiden. Weiter ist darauf zu achten, dass die
Anschlussleitung nicht durch die Vorwärtsbewegung des Innenschuhs innerhalb der
Schale überspannt wird. Dies wird vermieden, indem man eine
ausreichend lange Kabelschleife außerhalb des Skischuhs vorsieht (Bild 9).
Um eine zu lange Anschlussleitung zu verkürzen, kann diese in mehrere Schleifen
zusammengelegt und in die Mitte mit Klebeband zusammengeklebt werden. Achten Sie
in diesem Fall darauf, dass Sie an den Schleifen nicht hängen bleiben.

3. Akkupack befestigen und anschließen
Verbinden Sie die Anschlussleitungen mit den Akkupacks (Bild 10).
A. Befestigungs-Clip für Riemen und Gürtel (Riemen-Fixierung):
1. Clip wird über den Riemen oder Gürtel geschoben (Bild 11).
Für eine feste Fixierung an einem Riemen, ist es möglich mit den
mitgelieferten Schrauben den Befestigungsclip direkt am Riemen
festzuschrauben.
2. Das Akkupack wird in den Clip eingeschoben, die federgespannten
Rückhalter sichern das Akkupack mit einem deutlichen Schnappgeräusch
gegen Herausfallen (Bild 12).

B. Befestigung Skischuh Halterung für Schalenschuhe oder Skischuhe (Schrauben-
Fixierung):
1. Loch mit Durchmesser 5 mm / 0,2 Inch in die Schale des Skischuhs
bohren (Bild 14).
2. T-Mutter mit Verdrehsicherung von innen in das Bohrloch führen (Bild 15).
3. Verdrehsicherung auf das Bohrloch setzen
4. Skischuh-Halterung mit der Schraube M4 (L=10mm/0,4inch oder
L=16mm / 0,64 inch) durch das Bohrloch mit der T-Mutter fest ver
schrauben (Bild 16).
5. Das Akkupack wird in die Skischuh-Halterung eingeschoben, die federge-
spannten Rückhalter sichern das Akkupack mit einem deutlichen
Schnapp geräusch gegen Herausfallen (Bild 17).
6. Zum Entfernen des Akkupacks den Sicherheitshebel drücken und das
Akkupack aus der Skischuh-Halterung herausheben (Bild 18).
GEBRAUCH:
Die Schuhheizung kann für jeden festen Schuh verwendet werden, ganz egal, wo Sie sich
aufhalten und welchen Schuh Sie tragen. Die Heizung ist so konzipiert, dass sie leicht
von einer Schuhart auf eine andere gewechselt werden kann.
Die Einlegesohlen sind ebenfalls wasserabweisend. Sollten sie nass werden, gut aus-
trocknen lassen. Dadurch wird ihre Lebensdauer verlängert.
Die Heizsohlen schaffen eine behagliche und andauernde Wärme für Ihre Füße. Lassen
Sie die Füße nicht erst kalt werden, denn zum Aufwärmen wird mehr Energie benötigt,
als wenn Sie sie die ganze Zeit wärmen. Bevor man die Schuhe anzieht, stellen Sie die
Heizung 5 min auf die Stufe 3, damit der Schuh warm ist, wenn man ihn anzieht.
Wenn das Wetter kälter wird, schalten Sie die Heizung deshalb sofort auf 1, um eine
behagliche Wärme beizubehalten. Bei kaltem Wetter sind diese Temperatur-einstellungen
vielleicht nicht zu spüren, sehr wohl aber ein angenehmes Wärmegefühl. Die Einstellung
darf nicht zu hoch sein, um ein Schwitzen der Füße so gering wie möglich zu halten, denn
dabei werden die Füße gekühlt. Bei sehr kaltem Wetter kann als Grundeinstellung die
Stufe 2 erforderlich sein, um eine behagliche Wärme zu erzeugen.

NÁVOD NA POUŽITIE
Bezpečnostné pokyny
Nedržte tento výrobok v dosahu malých detí, aby nedošlo k prehltnutiu malých častí.
Tento výrobok nesmie používať osoba, ktorá nedokáže správne rozlíšiť teplo a chlad.
Malé deti reagujú na teplo a chlad citlivejšie. Niektoré choroby, ako napr. Diabetes
(cukrovka), môžu byť spojené s poruchami citlivosti na teplotu. Telesne postihnutí
alebo chorľaví ľudia nemusia spozorovať, že im je príliš teplo alebo príliš zima. Preto
nepoužívajte tento druh výrobkov pre deti mladšie ako 3 roky, bezmocné, postihnuté,
choré, poprípade osoby necitlivé na teplo. Keď máte pochyby alebo pri ťažkostiach s
krvným obehom, najprv sa spýtajte svojho lekára. Na nabíjanie akumulátorov používajte
len originálnu nabíjačku. Je vhodná len do interiéru a nesmie byť vystavená vlhkosti.
Nestrkajte do zásuvky alebo konektora žiadne kovové alebo iné premety, lebo tým
poškodíte tento výrobok. Keby ste zistili poškodenia na prípojnom kábli alebo iných
častiach výrobku, viac tento výrobok nepoužívajte. Nerobte zmeny na tomto výrobku a
nepoužívajte ho na iné účely, ako je určený.
OREZANIE STANDARD VLOŽKY AH8
- Dbajte na pokyny na vložke. V žiadnom prípade nestrihajte v miestach vyhrievacej
jednotky a kábla. Značky na strihanie sú len orientačné. (Priklad 2)
- Topánky s vyberateľnou stielkou:
Položte vyberateľnú stielku na spodnú stranu vyhrievacej vložky a orežte vyhrievaciu
vložku podľa stielky.
- Topánky bez vyberateľnej stielky:
Položte nohu na spodnú stranu vyhrievacej vložky. Orežte vložku pozdĺž strán a okolo
päty. Odporúča sa najprv vystrihnúť vložku o niečo väčšiu ako potrebujete.
Pri vkladaní do topánky musí byť farebná strana, t.j. vyhrievaná, navrchu. (Priklad 3)
Nabíjanie akumulátorov: (Priklad 4)
Akumulátory musia byť pre každým použitím nabité. Akumulátory nemajú hneď od
začiatku plnú kapacitu. Akumulátor dosiahne plnú kapacitu až po niekoľkonásobnom
nabíjaní. Aby ste dosiahli plnú kapacitu akumulátora, postupujte nasledovne:
1. Vybite akumulátory úplne a to tak, že prípojný kábel vyhrievacej jednotky zastrčte do
akumulátora a ten nastavte na stupeň 3. Akumulátory sú vybité, keď vyhrievacie
jednotky vychladnú.
2. Po úplnom vybití akumulátorov, zastrčte nabíjačku do zásuvky a nabíjajte súčasne
obidva akumulátory cca 12 hodín. Akumulátor musí byť počas celého nabíjania
vypnutý.

3. Počas nabíjania:
LED kontrolka na nabíjačke svieti na červeno a LED kontrolka na akumulátore svieti
na zeleno. Akumulátory sú po cca 12 hodinách úplne nabité. Nie sú žiadne optické
ukazovatele. LED kontrolky svietia ako predtým na červeno resp. Zeleno.
Keď používate akumulátory prvýkrát alebo ste ich dlhší čas nepoužívali mali by byť podľa
bodu 1 a 2 vybité a nabité. Nabíjačku zastrčte do štandardnej zásuvky, nie v blízkosti
zdroja vlhkosti. Keď ste na cestách, dbajte na to, aby bol v zásuvke prúd a nie ako to
napríklad býva v hotelových izbách, že môžu byť vypínačom na svetlo odpojené.
Zásuvky pre holiace strojčeky nie sú vhodné. Nabíjačka je počas nabíjania teplá, to je
v poriadku. Akumulátory nabíjajte pri teplote okolia od 10°C do 35°C. Neuskladňujte
akumulátory na miestach s teplotou vyššou ako 50°C, môžu sa poškodiť.
Výmena akumulátorov:
Akumulátory sú až 500-krát znovu nabíjateľné batérie NiMH. Keby aj napriek tomu po
niekoľkých rokoch akumulátory neudržali svoju kapacitu, môžete ich vymeniť za ľubovolné
nabíjateľné AA-batérie:
1. Uvoľnite skrutku na spodnej strane akumulátoru. (Priklad 5)
2. Otvorte uzatvárací kryt posunutím nadol. (Priklad 6)
3. Vyberte vložené batérie a zlikvidujte ich v zmysle článku o likvidácii výrobkov.
4. Vložte do každého akumulátoru 4 kusy nabíjateľných AA-batérií.
5. Zatvorte akumulátory posunutím krytu nahor. Dbajte na to, aby aby bol kryt dokonale
zatvorený.
6. Zaxujte kryt zaskrutkovaním skrutky na spodnej strane akumulátora.
Pokyny k starostlivosti o akumulátory:
Prílišnému nabitiu akumulátorov zabráni riadenie nabíjania v akumulátore.
Občasné neúplné nabitie akumulátorov ( menej ako 12 hodín) nepoškodí akumulátor.
Časté neúplné nabíjanie (niekoľko týždňov) spôsobí zníženie výkonnosti akumulátora. Pre
zvýšenie výkonnosti, znova nabíjať úplne.
Úplné vybíjanie akumulátorov zabezpečí ich najefektívnejšie využitie. Keď nebudete
pravidelne úplne vybíjať akumulátory, zohľadní sa to na nabíjateľnosti. Ak chcete
dosiahnuť plný výkon akumulátorov, treba ich úplne nabíjať aj vybíjať.
Nabíjanie môže byť prerušené, ale čím dlhšie je toto prerušenie, napr. týždeň alebo
mesiac, tým dôležitejšie je vykonať odporúčané vybitie/nabitie.
Pre predlzenie zivotnosti baterie, plne nabite kazde 3-4 mesiace.

Stupeň 1
Pri vypnutom akumulátore nastavíte stupeň 1 stlačením tlačidla 1 x. 1 LED kontrolka svieti
na červeno a ukazuje, že je aktívny stupeň 1.
Stupeň 2
Pri vypnutom akumulátore nastavíte stupeň 2 stlačením tlačidla 2 x. 2 LED kontrolky
svietia na červeno a ukazujú, že je aktívny stupeň 2.

Pri vypnutom akumulátore nastavíte stupeň 3 stlačením tlačidla 3 x. 3 LED kontrolky

Vypnutie vyhrievania:
Zo stupňa 1: stlačte ovládacie tlačidlo 3 x. LED kontrolky zhasnú.
Zo stupňa 2: stlačte ovládacie tlačidlo 2 x. LED kontrolky zhasnú.
Zo stupňa 3: stlačte ovládacie tlačidlo 1 x. LED kontrolky zhasnú.
UVEDENIE DO PREVÁDZKY
Vložky a káble neprelamujte!
1. Vloženie vložky (Priklad 7)
Vložte vopred orezané vložky STANDARD alebo bežné vložky s vyhrievacou jed
notkou do topánky.
2. Uloženie prípojného kábla
Prípojný kábel by mal byť vedený na spodnej strane vložky cez pätu pozdĺž zadného
lýtka. Pri lyžiarkach prevlečieme kábel cez dieru v papuči a vytiahneme medzi
vonkajším skeletom a papučou (Priklad 8). Treba starostlivo dbať na to, aby sa kábel
neodieral o ostré hrany skeletu, aby sa predišlo poškodeniu kábla.
Ďalej treba dbať na to, aby pri pohyboch papuče v skelete nebol kábel príliš napínaný.
Tomu zabránite, ak necháte dostatočne dlhú slučku z kábla mimo lyžiarky (Priklad 9).
Ak je kábel príliš dlhý, spravíme viac slučiek, ktoré v strede spojíme lepiacou páskou.
V tomto prípade dbajte na to, aby ste sa nezachytili o slučku.
3. Upevnenie a zapojenie akumulátora
Zapojte prípojný kábel do akumulátora. (Priklad 10)
A. Upevňovacia klipsňa pre remeň, opasok
1. Opasok alebo remienok prevlečieme cez klipsňu.(Priklad 11)
Pre pevnejšie uchytenie na remeň, je možné klipsňu pevne uchytiť na
remeň pomocou dodaných skrutiek.
2. Akumulátor zasunieme do klipsne, až kým nezačujeme výrazný zvuk
zaklapnutia, čo nám zabezpečí, aby akumulátor nevypadol z klipsne.
(Priklad 12)
3. Pre vybratie akumulátora z klipsne zatlačíme poistku súčasne palcom a
uka zovákom a vytiahneme. (Priklad 13)
B. Upevňovacia klipsňa pre lyžiarky, skeletové topánky (skrutkou)
1. Vyvŕtať dieru o priemere 5 mm do skeletu. (Priklad 14)
2. T-maticu s poistkou proti pretočeniu vložiť do vyvŕtanej diery zvnútra
skeletu. (Priklad 15)
3. Skrutku M4 (L=10mm alebo L=16mm) vložiť do diery držiaka akumulátora
a nasadiť podložku proti pretočeniu
4. Držiak pripevníme na skelet - skrutku na pevno zaskrutkujeme do matice
(Priklad 16).
5. Akumulátor zasunieme do držiaka, poistka na držiaku zabraňuje
náhodnému vypadnutiu – pri správnom zasunutí počuť výrazný zvuk
(Priklad 17)
6. Pre vybratie akumulátora z držiaka zatlačíme poistku na držiaku a
akumulátor vytiahneme (Priklad 18).

Tento výrobok môže byť použitý do každej pevnej obuvi, je celkom jedno, kde sa
nachádzate, a ktoré topánky nosíte. Výrobok je navrhnutý tak, že ho ľahko môžete
vymeniť z jedného páru topánok do iných. (obr.26)
Vložky sú tiež vode odolné. Keby vám navlhli, nechajte ich dobre vysušiť. Zvýšite tým ich
životnosť.
Používanie
Vyhrievacie vložky sa postarajú o pohodlné a trvalé teplo pre Vaše nohy. Nenechajte svoje
nohy vychladnúť, lebo na ohriatie je potrebné oveľa viac energie, ako keď ich ohrievate
po celý čas.
Skôr ako si obujete topánky, zapnite ohrievač vložený do topánky na 5 minút na stupeň 3,
aby boli topánky teplé, keď si ich budete obúvať.
Keď je chladnejšie počasie zapnite vyhrievač hneď na stupeň 1, aby ste si udržali
pohodlné teplo. Pri chladnom počasí snáď toto nastavenie teploty ani necítiť, ale určite
budete mať príjemný pocit tepla. Nastavenie teploty nesmie byť príliš veľké, aby sme
udržali potenie nôh čo najmenšie, lebo pri väčšom potení nohy chladnú.
Pri veľmi chladnom počasí sa môže vyžadovať ako základné nastavenie aj stupeň 2, aby
bolo vytvorené útulné teplo.
Výkonové a technické parametre
Každý akumulátor obsahuje riadiacu elektroniku, pomocou ktorej sa dajú nastaviť rôzne
stupne ohrevu. Vyhrievacia jednotka sa nachádza na vložke v oblasti prstov.
Opis vyhrievacej jednotky:
Veľkoplošná vyhrievacia jednotka – 43 cm² v prednej časti nohy.
- Standard: odolná vyhrievacia jednotka
- Custom: plošná vyhrievacia jednotka
- Pružná a vysoko zaťažiteľná:
Vyhrievacia jednotka je vyrobená z vysoko zaťažiteľných materiálových vrstiev, ktorý bol
špeciálne vyvinutý pre kombinované ohybové a tlakové požiadavky v topánke.
- Zástrčka:
Konektor prívodného kábla k akumulátoru je obzvlášť pevný a znesie aj všetky športové
a outdoorové namáhania. Zástrčka je koncipovaná tak, že sa dá ľahko zastrčiť, ale je
zabezpečená blokovacím mechanizmom proti náhodnému vytiahnutiu.

Likvidácia výrobku:
Tento výrobok musí byť zlikvidovaný v zmysle platných predpisov o likvidácii použitých
elektrických a elektronických prístrojov. Symbol na výrobku alebo jeho obale poukazuje na
to ,že s týmto sa nemá zaobchádzať ako s normálnym komunálnym odpadom, ale musí
byť odovzdaný v zberni pre recykláciu elektrických a elektronických prístrojov

ALPENHEAT NIE JE ZODPOVEDNÝ ZA POŠKODENIE VÝROBKU ALEBO ZRANENIE
UŽÍVATEĽA SPÔSOBENÉ NESPRÁVNYM POUŽÍVANÍM SUŠIČA.
Obmedzená záruka výrobcu
ALPENHEAT ručí za to, že tento produkt nemá materiálové a výrobné vady. Táto záruka
začína plynúť dátumom, keď tento produkt nadobudol prvý konečný spotrebiteľ. Opravou
alebo výmenou výrobku sa záruka nepredlžuje ani nezačína znovu plynúť. Ak sa počas
záručnej doby vyskytne na výrobku porucha, je potrebné ho vrátiť autorizovanému
Alpenheat predajcovi spolu s potvrdením o kúpe potvrdeným dátumom predaja. Vrámci
záručnej doby odstránime materiálové alebo výrobné vady bezplatne podľa vlastnej
voľby, opravou alebo výmenou prístroja.
Vylúčenie a obmedzenia
ALPENHEAT neposkytuje záruku na žiadne škody vzniknuté pri nehodách, nedbanlivým
alebo neodborným používaním. Okrem to ho sú zo záruky vyňaté všetky opotrebované
časti, zmena vzhľadu, neodborne vykonané zmeny produktu a mechanické poškodenie
produktu. Záruka výrobcu ponecháva vaše zákonné záručné požiadavky nedotknuté. Ak
je chyba zistená až po uplynutí 6-mesačnej záruky výrobcu alebo nie je pokrytá podmien-
