Installing your car kit
Connecting power and audio cables
1. Plug the power plug into your car’s
cigarette lighter socket or a power
socket, then start your car’s engine. The
car charger LED lights green.
2. Plug the 3.5mm audio output cable into
the AUX IN jack on the car’s stereo.
3. Turn on the car’s stereo and set the
stereo’s input to AUX IN (audio in).

Installing the Bluetooth receiver
The microphone is built into your Bluetooth
receiver.
You should install your receiver in a location
(like the car’s dashboard) that is:
• Smooth and flat
• Dry and free of dirt
• Easy to reach
• Close enough to the person speaking
that the microphone will pick up the
voice.

1. Peel the adhesive backing off the
mounting disc, then stick the disc to the
mounting surface.
2. Place your Bluetooth receiver against
the mounting disc. Your receiver
magnetically attaches to the disc.

Using your car kit
Pairing your receiver and a device
1. Press the function button once to
turn on your receiver. The LED lights red
and you hear a tone.
2. Press and hold the function button
for about 4 seconds to enter pairing
mode. The LED slowly blinks red and
you hear a tone.
3. On your device, locate your Bluetooth
settings and turn on Bluetooth.
4. In Bluetooth Settings, scan for devices if
necessary, then select Amazon_Carkit
from the device’s list. The LED stops
blinking and lights blue, and you hear a
tone. Your device and receiver are
paired and ready to use.
Note: To turn off your receiver, press and
hold the function button for about 7
seconds. The LED quickly flashes red 10
times, you hear a tone, and your receiver
turns off.

Pairing another device
You can only pair one device at a time. To
pair a different device, follow the steps in
Pairing your receiver and a device
.
Reconnecting to a paired device
When you turn on your receiver, it
automatically pairs with the last paired
device. If you want to pair with a different
paired device, follow the steps in
Pairing
your receiver and a device
.
Play music
1. Make sure that your device is paired to
the receiver and your device, receiver,
and car stereo are turned on.
2. Start playing music on your device.
3. To start or pause playback, press the
function button.

4. To skip to the next song, quickly press
the function button twice.
Note: If you receive a call while music is
playing, the music is automatically paused.
Use as a speakerphone
You can listen to phone calls through your
car’s stereo and speak through your
receiver’s microphone.
If you make a call while paired:
If music is playing, it is paused.
• Use your phone to make the call.
• Press the function button to end
the call.
If you receive a call while paired:
The LED blinks blue and you hear the
ringtone through your car’s stereo speakers.
• To answer a call, press the function
button once. The LED stops
blinking and lights blue.

• To reject a call, press the function
button twice. If you were playing music,
playback starts again.
• To end a call, press the function
button.
• To place a call on hold and answer
another, press the function button
once to answer the second call.
• To switch between calls, press the
function button once.
• To end the active call when you have 2
calls, press the function button
twice. The active call ends and the
on-hold call becomes active.
• To switch a call back to your phone,
press and hold the function button
for 4 seconds.
• To adjust the call volume, use your
phone’s controls or your car stereo’s
controls. The controls you use depend
on tyour phone.

To use voice dialing:
• If your phone supports voice dialing,
press and hold the function button
for 2 seconds, then speak into the
microphone.
Note: If you pair a tablet that supports
Internet voice searches, you can use your
car kit to do voice searched.
Standby mode
If your receiver is un-paired for 10 minutes,
it goes into standby mode. The LED turns
off and you hear a tone. To wake your
receiver, press the function button
once.

5. Branchez la fiche d’alimentation dans
l’allume-cigare ou une prise d’alimentation de
