Assembly
1. Unpack the Cotton Candy Maker from the box.
2. Remove any unwanted packaging materials such as cardboard, plastics or
styrofoam.
3. Wipe clean all the parts with a soft damp cloth or sponge and warm water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly. DO NOT IMMERSE THE COTTON CANDY MAKER
BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
NOTE: Do not put any parts or the base in the dishwasher.
4. Using a damp cloth or sponge, wipe the cotton candy maker base. Dry
thoroughly, with a soft cloth.
5. The Cotton Candy Maker comes assembled; however, the bowl and
protective guard will need to be attached. To attach the bowl, carefully
place the bowl over the sugar receptacle and turn it counterclockwise until
it locks into place. Then attach the protective guard to the bowl by carefully
snapping it into place.
DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL TO CLEAN THE SURFACE
DO NOT IMMERSE THE COTTON CANDY MAKER BASE IN WATER AT ANY TIME

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed.

COTTON CANDY MAKER.
KEEP AWAY FROM WATER!
1. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse power cord or plug in
water or any other liquid. This is an electrical appliance. To avoid the risk of
electrical shock or serious personal injury, always operate with dry hands.
2. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near
children. This cotton candy maker is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the cotton candy maker by a person
responsible for their safety.
3. Do not use the cotton candy maker outdoors. It is for household use only.
4. Do not allow the cotton candy maker to be used as a toy. Close attention is
necessary when the cotton candy maker is used by or near children.
5. Do not use the cotton candy maker with damaged cord or outlet plug. Do not
use the cotton candy maker if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or
dropped in water. Return the cotton candy maker to the service center for
examination, repair or refund or contact customer service.
6. Do not attempt to add sugar while the cotton candy maker is running.
7. Do not handle the plug or the cotton candy maker with wet hands.
8. Use the cotton candy maker only as described in this manual. The use of
accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause
damage to the cotton candy maker or personal injuries.
9. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings
and moving parts.
10. Do not use abrasive materials or a scouring pad to clean the cotton candy
maker. Do not immerse the cotton candy maker in water.
11. NEVER leave the unit unattended while in use.
12. Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.

13. Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
14. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.
15. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the
appliance.
16. DO NOT TOUCH HOT SURFACES. Use handles or knobs when available.
Heating element in center can get hot. Avoid contact until cool.
17. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or
other hot liquids.
18. DO NOT put any parts in the dishwasher.
19. To disconnect, always turn OFF first, then unplug from wall outlet.
20. Do not abuse the power cord. Never carry the cotton candy maker by the
power cord or pull the power cord to disconnect the outlet plug from an
outlet; instead, grasp the outlet plug and pull to disconnect.
21. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
22. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
23. Do not operate the cotton candy maker by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
24. Always check inside heating element compartment for foreign objects before
plugging the unit in and switching to ON position.
25. Keep hands away from the machine when it is in the ON position and is
spinning.
26. The cotton candy maker must be on a flat, level surface to operate properly.
CAUTION: Heating element in center can get hot. Avoid contact until cool.
CAUTION: Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from
openings and moving parts.
WARNING: Do not allow children to use the Cotton Candy Maker unless there is
adult supervision. The heating element gets hot!

Safety instructions
WARNING: Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in electric shock, fire, or serious personal injury. The
warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover
all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the
operator that common sense and caution are a factor which cannot be built into this
product but must be supplied by the operator.
CAUTION: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords
are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care is exercised in their
use. If an extension cord is required, special care and caution is necessary. Also, the
cord must be: (1) marked with an electrical rating of 125V, and at least 13 A., 1625 W.,
and (2) the cord must be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over accidentally.
Polarized plug
NOTE: This cotton candy maker has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other).
•As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit
in a polarized outlet only one way.
•If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
•If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.
Electric power
If the electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliances may not
operate properly. The appliances should be operated on a separate electrical circuit
from other operating appliances.
Safety warning
Although your cotton candy maker is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings
below must be followed:
1. Do not place the cotton candy maker near a heat source.
2. Do not unplug by pulling on the power supply cord.
3. The cotton candy maker must be unplugged:
A. Before any cleaning or maintenance.
B. If it appears to be faulty.

The cotton candy maker may produce an odor and emit smoke when switched on
for the first time, as residues from the production process are eliminated. This is
normal and does not indicate a defect or hazard.
Granulated or flossing sugar instructions
1. Place the cotton candy maker on a flat and stable surface near an electrical
outlet.
2. Make sure the cotton candy maker is turned to OFF and plug it into an outlet.
3. Turn to the ON position and allow to run for at least 3-5 minutes to allow the
unit to warm up. This allows the unit to properly warm up before beginning to
actually spin the cotton candy. Turn to OFF and only add sugar when it has
come to a complete stop.
4. Measure out 1 level tablespoon of sugar and pour it into the sugar receptacle.
The included spoon equals 1 tablespoon, so it may be used to measure the
sugar.
To add a little flavor and color, mix a pinch of your favorite pre-sweetened
Kool-Aid® to the sugar.
5. Turn the unit to the ON position.
6. When the cotton candy web begins, collect the cotton candy on the cone by
holding the cone vertically. Rotate the cone with your fingers while you circle
the bowl. Once cotton candy has collected on the cone, hold the cone in a
horizontal position over the extractor head, still rotating the cone with your
fingers. Continue turning the cone with your fingers while the cone is in the
horizontal position and move from side to side making sure you are collecting
all the cotton candy.

7. Turn the unit to the OFF position when all the sugar has been dispensed. Once
the extractor head has come to a complete stop, you can pour another
tablespoon of sugar in the receptable and begin again. The cotton candy
should be flowing more quickly as the unit should be sufficiently warmed up.
WARNING: Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from
openings and extractor when the cotton candy maker is in the ON position and
spinning.
CAUTION: Heating element in center can get hot. Avoid contact until cool.
CAUTION: If overheating occurs, the cotton candy maker will stop working. If this
happens, unplug the cotton candy maker, and allow to cool and reset.

Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the cotton candy maker is turned OFF and UNPLUGGED and
completely cooled before cleaning or attempting to store the item. NEVER
IMMERSE THE MOTOR in water or any other liquid.
NOTE: Do not put any parts in the dishwasher.
It is important to clean your cotton candy maker thoroughly after each use to
prevent sticky build ups that are difficult to clean later. Proper cleaning of the
cotton candy maker can lead to clean, better tasting cotton candy and can extend
the life of the appliance.
1. When performing any cleaning or maintenance to this unit, make sure it is
unplugged and has had time to cool down before cleaning.
2. Remove the protective guard by slowly pulling away the tabs and lifting it up.
3. Then unlock the bowl by turning it clockwise and lift up to remove.
4. After cooling, remove the extractor head by pulling straight up.
5. Wash all the parts in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly before
storing.
6. Wipe the base using a warm, slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth, sponge, or
paper towel. Do NOT immerse the base or run water over the base unit. Dry
the surfaces with a soft cloth or paper towel before storing.
7. Do not use abrasive cleaners on any part of the cotton candy maker.
