14. DO NOT use wax paper on the trays. It is too thick and will block the heat.
15. DO NOT place the dehydrator on or near hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
16. Extreme caution must be used when moving any appliance containing hot oil
or other hot liquids or food.
17. Keep out of reach of children. This is not a toy!
18. Parchment paper may be used. However, slits will need to be cut into the
paper.
19. The use of accessory attachments NOT recommended by the manufacturer
may cause injuries or damage to the food dehydrator.
20. Wash all trays and lid before each use to prevent food contamination.
21. To clean the bottom, unplug the unit from the outlet, allow it to cool
completely and then wipe with a damp cloth. DO NOT REMOVE THE HEATING
ELEMENT FOR CLEANING. To clean trays or lid, use sponge and mild soap. DO
NOT put in a dishwasher.
22. DO NOT pour liquids into the food dehydrator.
23. ATTENTION! Do not run the appliance for more than 20 hours in one
single use. After 19.5 hours, turn switch to ‘O’ position. Unplug and let it cool
down for at least 2 hours before operating again.
24. The power cord cannot be squeezed by something heavy or sharp, otherwise it
could cause a fire or electric shock.
25. The temperature of accessible surface may be HOT when the appliance is
operating.
26. Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, spatulas and
other utensils away during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons
and/or damage to the machine.
27. DO NOT operate with an external timer or remote-control device.
28. DO NOT use this dehydrator with an extension cord unless this cord has been
checked by a qualified technician or service person.
29. DO NOT use with wet hands.
30. DO NOT use the dehydrator near baths, basins, or other vessels containing
water or other liquids. Don’t keep or store this appliance in a watery or damp
environment.
31. In the event the dehydrator is dropped in water or any other liquid, unplug
immediately. DO NOT reach into the water to retrieve it.
32. Never operate near combustible or pressurized spray cans.
33. Only connect the dehydrator if the line voltage of the outlet corresponds to
the rating plate specification.
