PM1010 and PM1030 are newly designed desktop gooseneck microphones with contemporary outlooks suitable for
general purpose paging applications. PM1010 is a basic version with simple press to talk without chime whereas its
sibling, PM1030 comes with pre announcement chime, paging contact and chime volume controls, which is designed
for commercial applications.
Both models had been tuned to perform better than its predecessors and shall be the right choice for your paging
needs.

1. GOOSENECK MICROPHONE CONNECTOR
XLR jack for gooseneck mic ; plug the cardioid condenser gooseneck mic to this jack.
2. TALK SWITCH ( for PM1030 ONLY - NOT AVAILABLE IN PM1010 )
This momentary direct talk switch activates the mic without pre-announcement chime.
3. CHIME AND TALK SWITCH (PM1030) / TALK SWITCH (PM1010)
A 4 tone chime shall be broadcasted when the switch is pressed once and a downward 4 tone chime follows when the
unit is switched off ( PM1030 only ). For PM1010, there is no chime output and once ON, the mic shall be activated
immediately.
6. AUDIO OUTPUT
Output is balanced with either line or mic level which can be selected from this switch ( item 7 )
4. CHIME & VOLUME CONTROLS (PM1030)
Individual control for chime and mic output level to suit the installation environment. For PM1010, only mic volume
control is available.
7. MIC / LINE SWITCH
Output level from the unit can be preselected with either mic or line level.

5. DRY CONTACT (PM1030 ONLY)
When mic is active, a dry contact is available and is useful for various applications, such as to trigger emergency ALL
CALL.
8. RJ45 PORT
To connect PM1030 / PM1010 to External Box. Power and audio output shall be linked with RJ45 cable through this
port.
9. EXTERNAL BOX POWER INPUT
The unit operates using 24V DC supply. A power adaptor is provided in the package.

PM1030 can be connected to MX2322 mixer amplifier Remote Mic port without the External Box. With this connection, PM1030 shall has the
highest priority over other sources. Take note that with above connection, MX2322 volume control does not amplify / attenuate the mic audio. The
mic volume level is fully controlled by the mic volume knob.

Diagram above shows connection of PM1030 and ZS Zone Selectors ie. External Connector dry contact terminals to Zone Selector’s
Relay Trigger terminals. Activation of PM1030 shall trigger All Call at zone selector as well as providing 24V DC output to override
external volume controllers.

External Box PM1030
When there are more than one dry contact, a pair of diodes (e.g. 1N4001) are to be used as shown in order to make ALL CALL at mixing
amplifier ( MA Series ). In this case, PM1030 and EP1200 are the triggering sources, connecting to MA2000 AC (All Call) and PR (Priority)
terminals.

Note:
By working with iPX5151 / iPX5155 Paging Client, PM1030 can broadcast paging via Ethernet to a remote location.
When activate paging, PM1030 utilises its Dry Contact port to trigger iPX5151 / iPX5155 Trigger port to allow the paging
client accept the mic audio and have the paging broadcasted to remote PA system.

Malaysia or its authorized dealers. This warranty is not valid if repairs are performed by unauthorized
personnel or service centres.
This warranty covers only repairs and replacement of defective parts ; cost and risks of transportation as
well as removal and installation of the product from the main system are for the account of the purchaser.
This warranty shall not extend to the replacement of the unit.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, neglect, accident of the product as well as using
the product with power supply voltage other than shown on the product, or any other power supply source /
adaptor not recommended by the manufacturer.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by fire, earthquakes, floods, lightning and every cause not
directly related to the unit.
This warranty does not include any indemnity in favor of the purchaser or the dealer for the period out of
use of the unit; moreover the warranty does not cover any damages which may be caused to people and
things when using the product.
This warranty certificate is valid only for the described product, and is not valid if modifications are made on
this certificate or on the identification label applied on the product.
This warranty covers all the material and manufacturing defects and is valid for a period of 36 months from
the date of purchase or for a specified period in countries where this is stated by a national law. In this case,
the extension is valid only in the country where the product is purchased.
Amperes Electronics Sdn Bhd is not obliged to modify previously manufactured products under warranty if
the design changes or improvements are made.
