Connecting To MA2000 Amplifier
Remote zone selection on MA2000 amplifier can be done using PM1000 Series paging mic. Diagram below
illustrate a connection example. Connect PM1060 Pin 1 to Pin 3 to MA2024 SP1 to SP3 respecively. Connect
an unused pin, in this case Pin 4 ( corresponding to zone 4 ) to PR ( Priority ) port of MA2000. With this,
activate zone 1 + zone 4 buttons on PM1060 will override MA2000 front panel activated zones and allow
PM1060 to page to zone 1.

Connecting To Zone Selector
All Call paging from the Paging mic would trigger all zone but would not trigger the zone selectors E/M relay. The
overriding of volume controllers shall require 24V DC for the activation of their internal relay and this can be done via
EP1200.

We recommed that the PM1000 Series paging mic is used with Amperes Zone Selector in order to tap the full
features available. Other brand of zone selectors can be employed provided that the remote zone selection uses
negative signal triggering method.
Diagram below shows connection between PM1120 and ZS5122 zone selector.
Any zones or All Call activation on paging mic shall override ZS5122 front panel selected BGM zones. This however,
would not trigger E/M override relay at the zone selector.
