CAUTION
This equipment uses a Poly-carbon monofluoride lithium battery to
backup the memory. This battery must be replaced by service personnel
when it has reached the end of its useful life; contact the Anritsu sales
section or your nearest representative.
Note: The battery used in this equipment has a maximum useful life of
4 years. It should be replaced before this period has elapsed.
The equipment is equipped with an internal hard disk from which, as with
any hard disk, data may be lost under certain conditions. It is
recommended to periodically back up all important data and programs to
protect them from being lost accidentally.
Anritsu will not be held responsible for lost data.
To reduce the possibility of data loss, particular attention should be given
to the following points.
●The equipment should only be used within the recommend
temperature range, and should not be used in locations where the
temperature may fluctuate suddenly.
●Always follow the guidelines to ensure that the equipment is set up in
the specified manner.
●Always ensure that the fans at the rear and side of the equipment are
not blocked or obstructed in any way.
●Exercise care not to bang or shake the equipment whilst the power is
on.
●Never disconnect the mains power at the plug or cut the power at the
breaker with the equipment turned on.
The life span of certain parts used in this equipment is determined by the
operating time or the power-on time. Due consideration should be given
to the life spans of these parts when performing continuous operation
over an extended period. The safety of the equipment cannot be
guaranteed if component parts are used beyond their life spans. These
parts must be replaced at the customer's expense even if within the
guaranteed period described in Warranty at the beginning of this manual.

This equipment is designed for an industrial environment.
In a residential environment, this equipment may cause radio interference
in which case the user may be required to take adequate measures.
