Anwendungsbereich
Zulässige Verwendung
Die Rechargeable Metal D EX ist eine robuste und leicht bedienbare Taschenlampe, die der Gerätegruppe II
entspricht. Diese kann in Bereichen mit explosionsfähiger Atmosphäre eingesetzt werden, die den Zonen 1, 2,
21 oder 22 nach EG-Richtlinie 99/92/EG, Gasgruppe IIC explosionsgefährdete Gase, Dämpfe oder Nebel und
der Temperaturklasse T4 oder Staubgruppe IIIC und Temperaturklasse 120°C entsprechen. Sie darf in einem
Temperaturbereich von -20°C bis +40°C eingesetzt werden.
Untersagte Verwendung
Diese Taschenlampe darf keinesfalls in Bereichen mit explosionsfähiger Atmosphäre eingesetzt werden, die
den Zonen 0 und 20 nach EG-Richtlinie 99/92/EG entsprechen. In diesen Bereichen kann der Betrieb der
Leuchte eine Explosion verursachen.
Die Taschenlampe darf nicht verwendet werden,
> wenn sie verändert wurde
> wenn sie beschädigt wurde
Jede Veränderung oder Beschädigung kann den Explosionsschutz aufheben.
Die Ladestation ist nicht explosionsgeschützt und darf daher nicht in einem Bereich mit explosionsfähiger
Atmosphäre betrieben werden.
Sicherheitshinweise
Die Benutzung des Geräts setzt beim Anwender die Beachtung der üblichen Sicherheitsvorschriften voraus,
um Fehlbedienungen am Gerät auszuschließen.

> Das Wechseln der Batterie ist nur außerhalb des Ex-Bereichs erlaubt

Befestigung der Wandhalterung
Der Wandhalter kann sowohl an der Wand als auch im Fahrzeug angebracht werden. Achten Sie darauf,
dass die Wandhalterung in der Nähe einer Steckdose bzw. 12/24 V KFZ-Buchse montiert wird. Fixieren der
Wandhalterung mittels zwei Schrauben. Bei Montage im Auto befestigen sie die Taschenlampe mit einem
Gummiband.
Aufladung
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme sollte der Akku vollständig aufgeladen werden (ca. 8h). Damit die Lampe
im EX Bereich eingesetzt werden kann, muss sichergestellt sein, dass die Abschlusskappe mit dem Gehäuse
komplett verschlossen ist. Danach kann die Lampe mit dem Druckschalter ein- bzw. ausgeschaltet werden.
Nach der Entnahme der Lampe aus der Ladeschale muss die Abschlusskappe komplett zugeschraubt werden.
Der Akku befindet sich werkseitig außerhalb der Lampe.
Die Ladung erfolgt in der Wandhalterung. Wahlweise kann die Lampe über das Netzteil oder 12/24 V
DC-Adapter geladen werden. Der Ladestrom beträgt 500mA. Die Lampe kann dauerhaft in der Ladeschale
verbleiben. Der Ladezustand des Akkus vor der Ladung spielt keine Rolle. Die Microcontroller gesteuerte
Ladetechnik schaltet bei vollem Akku automatisch ab. Die maximale Ladezeit beträgt 4 Stunden. Es ist
möglich den Akkupack separat in der Ladestation zu laden.

Leuchtdauer
Die Leuchtdauer beträgt bis zu 10 Stunden.
Fokussierung
Den Brennpunkt des Lichtstrahles können Sie fokussieren, indem Sie den Kopf der Taschenlampe drehen.
LED -Wechsel
Durch Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn lässt sich der Kopf der Lampe öffnen. Der Reflektor lässt sich nun
aus dem Scheinwerfergehäuse herausnehmen und das LED-Modul kann gewechselt werden.

Warnung!
Durch fehlerhafte Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten kann der Explosionsschutz verloren gehen.
Nur unterwiesenes Personal darf die Leuchte prüfen, warten und instand setzen.
Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten ausschließlich außerhalb des Explosionsgefährdeten Bereichs ausführen!
Bei längerer Lagerung muss der Akku vor Inbetriebnahme komplett aufgeladen werden.
Die Lagertemperatur von -25 bis +50 °C muss beachtet werden!

feuchten Tuch reinigen. Bei Anzeichen von Beschädigungen des Gehäuses, Kabels, Wandhalters oder des
Netzteils darf das Gerät nicht betrieben werden.

Auswechseln des Akkus
Die Verschlusskappe lässt sich durch Drehen öffnen und der Akku kann gewechselt werden.
Umwelthinweis
Akkus gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Geben Sie verbrauchte Akkus bei Ihrem Händler bzw. der Batterie-
sammelstelle ab.

Für dieses Produkt gewährt die ANSMANN AG eine Garantie von zwei Jahren auf Funktion und Material unter
angegebenen Betriebs- und Wartungsbedingungen.
Diese Garantie gilt nicht für Produkte, die unsachgemäß verwendet, verändert, vernachlässigt, durch Unfälle
beschädigt oder anormalen Betriebsbedingungen sowie einer unsachgemäßen Handhabung ausgesetzt
wurden. Forderung auf Gewährleistungen können durch Einsenden des defekten Gerätes geltend gemacht

Die Rechargeable Metal D EX is a robust torch and easy to handle, which corresponds to device group II. This

Mounting of wall bracket
The wall bracket can be mounted to the wall as well as in a vehicle. Please note that the wall bracket is
mounted near an outlet or 12/24 V vehicle connector. Assemble wall bracket by using two screws. When
mounting in a vehicle fastening torch with a rubber band.
Charging
Before first use the battery pack should be charged completely (approx. 8h). To be able to use the torch in
ex-areas make sure that the end cap is locked completely with the case. Afterwards the torch can be switched
on / off with the press switch. The end cap must be screwed completely after removing the torch from the
charging frame. You may find the battery on the outside of the torch.
Charging will occur in it’s wall bracket. Alternatively the torch can be charged through the power supply or
12/24V DC-adapter. The charging rate is 500mA. The torch can stay in the charging frame permanent.
The charge condition of the battery before charging is irrelevant. The micro controlled charging technique
turns off at full charged battery. The maximum charging time is 4 hours. It is possible to charge the battery
pack in the charging frame separately.

Focusing
Focus of light beam can be focused by turning head of torch
LED exchange
By turning counterclockwise the head of torch can be opened. The reflector can now be removed from
spotlight case and the LED-module can be exchanged.
Warning!
Explosion protection can be lost by wrong maintenance and repair work. Only instructed staff is allowed to
check, maintain and repair the torch. Maintenance and repair work only outside of the explosive area!
When storage for a longer period of time the battery must be charged completely before use.
The storage temperature must be between -25° to +50°C!

Replacement of the battery
The end cap can be opened by turning and the battery can be exchanged.
Environmental note
Do not dump rechargeable batteries in domestic waste. Give empty batteries to your retailer or a battery
collection point.
Guarantee and Liability
ANSMANN AG hereby guarantees a two year warranty for function and material under mentioned operating
and maintenance instructions. This guarantee does not apply to products which had been used wrong,
modified, neglected, damaged through an accident or abnormal operating use as well as incorrect handling.
You may claim guarantee by returning the defective device. We reserve the right to repair, to adjust or to
replace the device.
The mentioned guarantee regulations are the only right to compensation and they apply only and instead of
all other contractually or legal warranty.
ANSMANN AG does not assume liability for special, direct damage as well as lost including lost of data, no
matter if they are caused by violation of warranty deed, legal or illegal handling, handling in good faith or

Nabíjecí kovová svítilna D EX má robustní konstrukci a snadno se ovládá, čímž odpovídá zařízením II.
skupiny. Může se používat ve výbušném prostředí odpovídajícím zóně 1 nebo 2 dle směrnice 99/92/EC, v
místech s výskytem výbušných plynů skupiny C, páry nebo mlhy a v rámci teplotní skupiny T4.

Zakázané použití
Svítilna se nesmí používat ve výbušném prostředí odpovídajícím zóně 0 a 20 dle směrnice 99/92/EC. Použití
svítilny v takovém prostředí by mohlo vyvolat explozi.
Svítilna se nesmí používat, jestliže je:
> jakkoliv upravovaná
> poškozená
Jakákoliv úprava nebo poškození může vyřadit z funkce ochranu proti výbuchu.
Nabíjecí stanice není proti výbuchu chráněna, a proto se ve výbušném prostředí nesmí používat.
Bezpečnostní instrukce
Uživatel musí při používání svítilny znát bezpečnostní instrukce, aby nedošlo k nesprávné manipulaci.
> Svítilnu ve výbušném prostředí neotevírejte.
> Akumulátor vyměňujte jen mimo výbušné prostředí.

> Používejte pouze předepsaný typ akumulátoru.

Montáž nástěnného držáku
Držák je možno připevnit na zeď nebo do auta. Pro montáž zvolte místo v blízkosti zásuvky nebo v autě
v blízkosti 12/24V výstupu. Držák přišroubujte dvěma šrouby. Při uchycení ve vozidle svítilnu zajistěte
gumovým páskem.
Nabíjení
Před prvním použitím akumulátor plně nabijte (cca. 8 h). Chcete-li svítilnu používat ve výbušném prostředí,
zkontrolujte zda je její koncový kryt zašroubovaný až na doraz. Poté můžete svítilnu tlačítkovým vypínačem
zapínat a vypínat. Po vyjmutí svítilny z nabíjecího držáku musí být její koncový kryt zcela zašroubovaný.
K nabíjení dochází po umístění do nástěnného držáku. Kromě toho je svítilnu možno nabíjet přes napájení
nebo přes adaptér na 12/24 V=. Nabíjí se proudem 500 mA. Svítilnu je možné ponechat v nabíjecím
rámečku trvale. Na hloubce vybití akumulátoru před nabíjením nezáleží. Mikroprocesorem řízené nabíjení se
po dosažení plné kapacity automaticky vypne. Nabíjení trvá maximálně 4 hodiny. Akumulátor se dá nabíjet v
nabíjecím rámečku i samostatně – vyjmutý ze svítilny.

Tvar paprsku:
Tvar světelného paprsku je možno upravovat pootočením hlavy svítilny.
Výměna LEDky:
Otáčejte hlavou svítilny proti směru hodinových ručiček, čímž svítilnu otevřete. Pak je možné sejmout
odrazovou plochu (reflektor) a vyměnit modul s LEDkou.
Upozornění!
Chybnou údržbou nebo opravami může dojít ke ztrátě ochrany proti vzniku výbuchu. Kontrolu, údržbu a
opravy svítilny mohou provádět pouze s problematikou seznámení pracovníci. Údržbu a opravy je možno
provádět výhradně mimo výbušné prostředí!
Po dlouhodobějším skladování je nutno akumulátor před použitím plně nabít.
Skladovací teplota musí být v rozsahu -25° až +50°C!
