i structio s o i stalli g the motherboard a d peripherals, please refer to the user’s ma uals that come
with those compo e ts.
The i ovative Mi i Skeleto case by A tec features a ope -air desig , givi g you the freedom to
desig your ideal Mi i-ITX computi g solutio without the usual limitatio s that come with a sta dard
e closure. This e closure co sists of two major parts – the Compo e t Tray a d the Frame. The
Compo e t Tray is the mai structure holdi g your motherboard, 5.25” device, HDDs a d power
adapter/PCB. It ca slide i a d out of the Frame for compo e t i stallatio .
The Mi i Skeleto comes with the EP-90 90-watt power adapter, which supplies your computer with
sufficie t power to operate reliably.
Note: The Mi i Skeleto comes without a y pa els or cover. A tec does ot recomme d that users
place a y liquid-co tai i g items (dri ks, food, sprays, etc.) ear it. It is highly recomme d that you keep
your pets or childre away from it.

The EP-90 is rated at least 85% efficie t at 100 VAC a d 240 VAC i put voltage a d maximum
load.
A variety of i dustrial-grade safety circuitry will help protect your computer: OVP (Over Voltage
Protectio ), SCP (Short Circuit Protectio ), a d OCP (Over Curre t Protectio ). Sometimes the
PSU will “latch” i to a protected shutdow state. This mea s that you will eed to power off the
adapter a d clear the fault before it will fu ctio agai .
There are o user-replaceable fuses i the EP-90.

motherboard user’s ma ual for specific mou ti g i structio s a d troubleshooti g. Before proceedi g,
check the ma ual for your CPU cooler to fi d out if there are steps you must take before i stalli g the
motherboard.

1. With the rear of the case faci g you, remove the thumbscrew at the left side of the Compo e t
Tray.
2. Pull back o the rear of the tray u til it stops.
3. To replace the tray, slide the tray back i to the chassis from the rear u til it locks i to place,
the replace the thumbscrew o the left side of the Compo e t Tray.

Slide out the Compo e t Tray from the Frame as detailed i sectio 2.1.
1. Li e up the motherboard with the sta doff holes o the Motherboard Tray.
2. Screw i the motherboard to the sta doffs with the provided Phillips-head screws.
Replace the Compo e t Tray i the Frame as detailed i sectio 2.1.
Note: You do NOT eed to i stall a I/O pa el for the Mi i Skeleto . Your motherboard should
come with o e. Keep it i a safe place. You will eed it if you decide to move your
motherboard to a traditio al case i future.

route cables to your device. Pause whe the device is halfway i serted, co ect the

frame for co ve ie t storage capacity.
1. I your tool bag, fi d o e of the black screws a d attach o e to your 2.5” device at the fro t
screw holes.
2. While faci g the fro t of the case, positio the 2.5” device vertically a d slide it i to o e of the
2.5” HDD mou ti g slots i the Compo e t Tray u til it locks i to positio (make sure the black
screw faces up).
Note: It may be ecessary to remove the side scree s as detailed i sectio 2.5 to effectively
route cables to your device. Pause whe the device is halfway i serted, co ect the
power a d data cabli g, a d the complete i stalli g the device.

Your A tec Mi i Skeleto case has the ability to mou t up to two additio al 2.5” devices
exter ally o the Frame for additio al storage capacity.
1. Alig your 2.5” device with the i cluded 2.5” device mou ti g plates a d secure them together
with the i cluded screws.
2. Hook the mou ti g plate alo g the sides of the Frame.
Note: It may be ecessary to remove the motherboard tray a d/or side scree s as detailed i
sectio 2.6 to effectively route cables to your devices.

motherboard user’s ma ual to e sure that it matches the table below:

I tel® 10-pi HDA (High Defi itio Audio) co ector. The pi assig me ts for these co ectors
are as follows:
You ca co ect either the AC’97 or the HDA co ector, but ot both at o ce, to your
motherboard depe di g o the spec of the motherboard. Locate the i ter al audio co ectors
from your motherboard or sou d card a d co ect the correspo di g audio cable. Co sult your
motherboard or sou d card ma ual for the pi -out positio s.

are LED a d switch leads for power, reset, a d HDD LED
activity. Attach these to the correspo di g co ectors o
your motherboard. Co sult your motherboard ma ual for
specific pi positio s. For LEDs, colored wires are positive
(+). White or black wires are egative (–). If the LED does ot
light up whe the system is powered o , try reversi g the
co ectio . For more i fo o co ecti g LEDs to your
motherboard, see your motherboard user’s ma ual.
Note: There is o Power LED i this case. The illumi ated case fa s will tur o whe there is
power to the computer.
