Operation Guide
FRONT PANEL:
1. Power Light Indicates AC voltage input.
2. Lock Light Detects valid AES/EBU lock data on selected AES pair
3. Signal Light Detects valid analog signal output on indicated channel
REAR PANEL:
1. AC Input and
Mains switch 100~240 VAC volt, 50/60 cycle AC input on IEC socket
2. Digital Input DB-25 connector. Wired to AES input standard (see page 2)
3. Analog output 1-8 DB-25 connector. Wired to Tascam pinout standard (see page 2)
4. Analog output 9-12 DB-25 connector. Wired to Tascam pinout standard (see page 2)
5. SYNC Source switch Rotary control. Selects AES pair input for digital sync. Selectable from 1-
6. Set from factory for pair #1
ANALOG OUTPUT FINE TUNING:
1. Each channel has a multi-turn trimpot to trim a small amount of gain to compensate for slight circuit
variations. To access, remove screws on top cover of unit and remove top cover completely. The
trimpots are a small blue component mounted on the main PC board. To adjust level, turn small
screw with alignment tool for desired trim. The usable range is +/- 0.5 dB.
