0. Overview Configuration-A (From outside perspective)
Configure A information: Mortise Locks have always been the elegant choice on word and hollow metal doors. The professional installer may be required.
Please use holes pattern / template as a reference to drill holes and use these overview configuration A/B/C to identify all key components’ relationship.

AE A:Lock Body need to install into the pre-cut pocket and secure by two screws, then insert and “Cylinder Lock” and secure by the long screw.
Tip’s note is very important for correcting operation.

BE A:Lock Lever assemble. Insert “Spindle” / two long screws through lock body and make sure long screws reach “Hex Nut” (If the screw is too long for this door,
please trim the length as required). Please use Hex Wrench to tie the “Set Screws”. Press fit “Lever Covers” after securing both side of levers.

Use Hex Wrench to tie the “Set Screw”.

Tip: Do not tie three mounting screws up the first time (50%
tie). Please install Lever and make sure you can pull the “latch
bolt” completely back (adjust lock body up will help) then you
can tie up all screws.

CE A:Cylinder lock assemble: Apply two “Hex Nut” into the Round Mounting Plate’s hole and press against “Cylinder Lock” from outside of the door.
You have to use Rectangular Mounting Plate (as shown on Configuration B) from inside of the door and line up holes by use long screws fromA

Press fit “Cylinder Face” after securing both screws.

Tip: Insert tow Hex Nuts into “#Mounting Plate (Lock)”, then
use tow long screws to reach these two Nuts.
Do not tie it up the first time. Please line up Mounting Plate
center hole to the center of $Tailpiece then you can tie it up.
After checking out unlocking and locking operation. You
may need to come back to do fine adjustment and/or add
screw to the bottom of BLE mounting plate to secure it.

Configure B information:

EE A:Use the long screw from “Screw/Hex Nut” set. The long screw has to go through mounting holes of Rectangular Mounting plate / Lock Body’s mounting
holes and reach Hex Nut from Round Mounting Plate. Secure both screws as shown here. (If the screw is too long for this door, please trim the length as
required). Tip’s note is very important for correcting operation.

FE A-1: After secure the “Cylinder Lock Assemble” with “Rectangular Mounting Plate”, you have to use A

IE A to identify the “Right Hand” or “Left Hand” door
setting. From the A

JE A, you can set “L” or “R” switch position to match “Left Hand” or “Right Hand” door setting.

GE A: If everything fits and you can insert four battery into the battery holder and close the battery compartment cover.
Initial testing after installation:
1. Check the lever handles function properly. You can turn lever handles to retract / extend “Latch Bolt”.
2. Check the metal key is working correctly. You can use the key to retract / extend “Deadbolt”.
3. Check the Bluetooth Control Unit can control BML16 mortise lock.
After you have tested the Lever handles and key unlock / lock function, you can use touch unlock to
test Bluetooth Control Unit.
BML16 has a built-in unlock button and it can provide pressing Touch-Button unlock feature from the
indoor. You can press the “Touch Button” to unlock / lock the door at this moment.
